No problem. ECR is only checked when your are going abroad for work purposes. If it is a social visit then ECR doesn't matter. Minimum 10k Bhat is enough to carry in cash to Thailand. Yes hotel booking is mandatory.

U can stay at airport. Make sure you clear your immigration once you land thailand. They won’t ask anything.

No need any type of test.. Also you can fly from Vietnam to Thailand. You need to apply thai pass..
