@travelmantoday .. just landed at suvarnabhumi airport from Kuala Lumpur and went through the immigration. They didn’t even ask a single question leave about the return ticket or the hotel booking. Forget about the funds. I was not even carrying Thai Bhat was just having Malaysian ringgit. They are stamping blindly now😅😅…

We are traveling to Chiang Mai in the 1st week of April. Thai Air with layover in Bangkok. My question is , where will our immigration happen? In Bangkok or Chiang Mai? Layover time in BKK is only 1hr50min. Is this enough time for the immigration process and to catch my Flight to Chiang Mai?
if it is a single PNR flight then immigration will be done at Chiang Mai.
Im in Bangkok now. Came on the 1st of March. None of my documents or cash was checked. The lady asked me how many days I will stay and which places I will travel to. Only 2 questions asked. It was easy maybe because I was a solo female. There was an Indian man before me who was asked to show hotel bookings, he did not have bookings for all the days and he was taken aside by the officer, dont know what happened.

Sir , I am planning to travel for 2 weeks from Mumbai to Bangkok ( will book a return ticket ) . I am planning to visit Cambodia and Laos from Bangkok . I am planning to use Bangkok as a base and will be going to Cambodia from Bangkok , return to Bangkok and than go to Laos , return to Bangkok and than fly back to India . Since this is going to be multiple entry , will I get a visa exemption at Bangkok . Is the current free visa applicable for multiple entries?
Aseem ji, just for clarification , I’ll carry $3000 cash and some 5-6000 thb cash left over from my previous trip. Just in case, presuming the worst, if Thai immigration asks proof of funds, then will they deport me because I don’t have sufficient amount in “THB”? Thanks in advance
that is fine no issues in that. You have more than enough proof of funds. They are not putting much questions and you can tell them that you carry the remaining amount in cards.

At first I go to Thailand then by road go to laos from thailand through sticker visa after that from laos to cambodia same as previous then enter vietnam from cambodia along with e-visa and finally return india from vietnam by Air .. Is it possible ?

Thailand government should stop forcing tourist to ask hotel bookings, money etc. It's very difficult to plan for 28 or 29 days. Especially I am going to do road trip this time.
My past 4 times never I was asked to show money and hotel booking just for 1 or 2 days they checked.

thai pass and travel insurance are not mandatory but do carry a medical insurance or subscribe to free medical policy provided by Thai Govt.

That is fine you can re-enter Thailand again. There is no cooling off period in this case.

if you visit cambodia they will check for return flight back to India or Thailand in case you want to reenter
