some tips about raids. - you should definitely hire more archers. I found that having at least one in every barracks tower is very useful. during fights they will stay behind and support the knights in the front. - if you hold an ancient tome in your inventory, it will start glowing a day before a raid starts giving you a warning and some time to prepare. - you definitely got more tomes from that raid, your guards probably picked them up. they will eventually end up in the warehouse. my name suggestion is: "Lahava" it means a flame in hebrew. in my opinion its a beautiful word almost elvish like Really enjoying the series! thank you!
Here in New Mexico (state in USA) whenever you order food you’ll often be asked “red or green?” Which is slang for red pepper or green pepper sauce. If you want both the correct response is “Christmas please”.
The Graveyard's Undertaker will also retrieve the deceased's inventory, but it's a good idea to make sure they have an axe(?) to break the grave and retrieve the body. Your Guards (Knights, Archers and Druids will pick up enemy drops and deposit them at their Guard/Barracks Tower where your Couriers will (eventually) pick them up and take them to the warehouse. I'd suggest adding a small field for pumpkins for one of your farmers to manage so that you don't have to manually grow and harvest them.
Hi Sjin, I'm from the black country. We have our own alphabet never mind an accent! If you want to hear what we sound like just search "Doreen Queen of the black country". I'm loving this series so far keep it lad.
I grew up in Texas, despite the stereotypes, I do admit we say “y’all” more than is healthy and we say “sir” or “ma’am” everywhere. So for people not from the area, we call you sir or ma’am not because you’re old but as a sign of respect 🫡
I grew up in California, and it wasn't until recently when I realized the confusing nature of some of our common phrases: "Yes, no totally" means yes, definitely (an emphatic yes) "No, yeah" means yeah, you're right (kind of like a reluctant yes) LOL When I lived in Washington State, my co-workers were VERY confused whenever I used these.
As a born hillbilly, my favorite slang/mangled language has always been "Ain'tchaetyet?" translated to "Have you eaten yet?", used as a common greeting when friends drop by
its not just the guards that are underpowered, you should get some good armour and weapons too as well as tools. i'd recommend spending a couple hours just fishing constantly to get as much neptunium gear as you can. Its the easiest armour to obtain when is buffed and better than diamond gear.
I love the series so far, but gotta admit I’m getting a bit lost with the layout and where everything is! Wouldn’t mind like a quick overhead shot of the colony to get some bearings
ARGH you ALMOST hired an Usagi 😭so close!!! Looking forward to the graveyard build! You should level it up right away if you can, I imagine it'll mostly be covered by your colonists.
I'm currently in southern America. The most common and famous slang from the region is 'Y'all' and 'Alls y'all'. In the nothern South, 'You' is singular and 'Y'all' is plural of 'you'. Literally 'you all'. In the deeper South, 'Y'all' is practically singular and 'Alls y'all' is plural.
In Kansas we say “Ope” a lot. And it’s a way of saying oops. Also, a valheim playthrough would be fun to watch. Lots of cool building options you’d like.
Absolutely loving this series, really enjoyed your last minecolonies dabble when you played the bees, but this series is just 🤌👌 Thanks for all the effort and work you put into your videos Sjin! 👍
Where I live (Quebec, Canada) we say “tigidou” to say “okay” or “I’m on it” or something like that. Foreigners like the sound of it for some reason. We are also famous in the French world for our curse words
North Yorkshire n proud of it. Have some pretty simple and catchy phrases like: 'Ey up (Hello) Be reet (it'll be alright) 'Ow do? (How are you doing?) Also quite informal with adressing people (though it varies depending on where in Yorkshire): Love Mate Pet Duck Lad We also have the definitive best way of saying Bastard, get to channel your inner Sean Bean every time.
Sjin, priority recipe mode is on in your plantation. Prioritizes request for materials over farming. This is might be the source of your sugar cane shortages.
KNIGHTS TIP: They can actually use/wear modded equipment such as Dragon armors from Ice and Fire. *they look so cool tbh and the armor is OP so well atleast give it to your best Knight so he'll be like the Lord Knigh or something. Same with weapons Also you can try the Silver Armor from IceandFire it looks so cool they are like Cavalier sets. It's better than Iron I think
Hey Sjin! There is a compass rose in the upper right of your map screen. Will save you time rather than reciting “never eat soggy wheaties” every time a raid happens 😂 My dragon name recommendation is Firecracker
Arizonan here, I guess some slang we have is more in reference to the various areas? We call Flagstaff "Flag" or Joseph City "Jo City", the Reservations are just referred to as the "Rez". Also if you don't name that dragon Trogdor you're fired.
“Dear diary I never imagined today would be the bloodbath it turned out to be! I was on my way to the warehouse with my buddy Cosmic The Rat, to pilfer some cake from the warehouse, when suddenly mayor Sjins horn was blown! Afterwards the whole town was silent for a second, and then the faint sound of drums and screams became louder and louder! We threw down the perfectly good cake and ran to Harvard! And there it was! A flood of humans coming over the river! The sky was black with thrown spears! (I must admit I let out a fart, but nobody noticed) We fought for what felt like hours but got those bastards at the end, but not without a cost.. We lost a lot today… especially the cake, but we also gained knowledge! Of the threat from the jungle. Thank god for iron armor! - Asger Decoy
Jawn (pronounced john but with a more of an a on the o): it could be a street, a person, a thing or anything else. example: That Jawn (boy) dropped his Jawn (wallet, ball, toy) into the Jawn (street, sewer, valley) basically if you dont know what something is called or cant think of the word you call it a Jawn
Being from SoCal people say 'dude' alot and 'hella', i cant think of anything to use 'hella' in at the moment, also 'chill' as in 'this place is chill' meaning it's relaxed or fun, I feel like SoCal is just a melting pot so its hard to say what slang there is. As for a dragon name, Volvagia the fire dragon from Ocarina of Time. Ohhh and the fact that your dragon is that color scheme all the more reason with my suggestion lol
We don't really have much in terms of slang here, but if anything, it would be "sakin". The word is really only used in the capital, and it generally means "awesome" Note, Faroese is a strange language, so... there's that.
Sjin, as always great job. I was playing sudoku on my phone while watching this video on my TV and it made me want to ask you if you play sudoku. Every time I ask someone they act like I'm somehow insulting them by enjoying a brain game, but I honestly just wanna know if you play. I find it relaxing, and sometimes stressful if I'm having a bad day. Lol
Also, I'm from Indiana (the state in America. I only specify because it's a state nobody cares about) we don't have a ton of slang words around here however I have I habit of saying "alrighty Aphrodite" or "if it was a snake it would have bit me" (which honestly speaks to how big of a space case I am) but my kids favorite is "ain't ain't a word unless you use it in a sentence"
hmm for slang, i mean, new england has some peculiarities in some word compared to the rest of the us, but idk. "bubbler" > "water fountain", "bureau" > "dresser", "rotary" > "roundabout", "frappe" is different from "milkshake", "barrel" > "trash", sneakers, "jimmies" = sprinkles, "clicker" = remote, "nor-easter" = think hurricane, but weaker and feet of snow, oh, also the boston subway is only called "the T" but is it really slang if it's basically official lol i dont say "wicked" though
Sorry asking, but I’m from East London. Cockney is practically a language all in itself, though we do say ‘mate’ and ‘geeze/geeza’ about everything and everyone.
Sorry that you are feeling Blue about the Dragon. (Maybe adding armor to the next Dragon Ride) Dragon Names for the Fire dragon; Ember, Burner, Hot Breath. If you had the graveyard and the Gravedigger you would have a chance of bring back from death the colonists that died. You are red in the face about that raid.
I was born in Boston, Massachusetts. There’s a bunch of phrases that they say but the one I know well is “Park the car in Harvard yard” but with the Boston accent you don’t pronounce the R’s properly. Saying it like “Pahk the cah in Hahvahd Yahd”
I like how no one noticed that the current video description is from the previous episode. For the dragon name, go for something simple, like Jake. Or Mushu
So.... Are you planning on making a modpack like this? because I'd love that!, or is there a server i can play in? I've seen a lot of modpacks but they've either got better minecraft OR minecolonies... not both... Anyways, keep up the good work. Really enjoying the series!
Something I've always found funny is I live near Detroit and people in and around the city sometimes refer to it as "The D"... which could also be a dragon name tbh I'm sorry you lost your car...

Sjin:*picks up way-stone* Ahh yes this will help!
Dragon: *dies*
Sjin: Guess i'll walk.
Well, kinda pointless to get it and then place it thousand miles away to get to the colony.
@@goldmemberpb you can go and pick it up later with the other dragon
This is basically the comment I was about to post, glad UA-cam is a hivemind.
I also thought he could just hatch another dragon and ride it home haha
Although RIP Aagon

Here in New England we say wicked a lot. As an adjective. Also you should call the new dragon Glaurung.
And this is why we need that graveyard
Hi Sjin, I'm from the black country. We have our own alphabet never mind an accent! If you want to hear what we sound like just search "Doreen Queen of the black country". I'm loving this series so far keep it lad.
ow bin ya
Bostin!
Sjin the serenity buff is from koi fish. I think its used to help keep mobs away but not as affective as a mega torch
Also I was facepalming so hard when you walked the way back when you just collected a waystone in your inventory 😂
your new dragon should be named slang
I grew up in Texas, despite the stereotypes, I do admit we say “y’all” more than is healthy and we say “sir” or “ma’am” everywhere. So for people not from the area, we call you sir or ma’am not because you’re old but as a sign of respect 🫡
Y'all is pretty comon in the hole south
Don't forget "oop" if you drop something or bump into someone or something.
I grew up in Arizona, I say y’all a fair bit more than normal too
I grew up in SoCal and say y'all, I like how it rolls off the tongue, I also say sir but I say miss instead of ma'am.
My favorite Southernism is instead of calling it a sun shower we say the devil is beating his wife.
I'm from Tennessee and we say "Bless", "Bless you" or "Bless your heart" all the time for alot of different things.
I grew up in California, and it wasn't until recently when I realized the confusing nature of some of our common phrases:
"Yes, no totally" means yes, definitely (an emphatic yes)

though guards can only use iron/stone tools at lvl3, lvl 4 they use diamond, and at lvl 5 they use enchanted gear and every tool from every other mod
I love the series so far, but gotta admit I’m getting a bit lost with the layout and where everything is! Wouldn’t mind like a quick overhead shot of the colony to get some bearings
I like the headcanon of the enchanter building up power to become high sorcerer.
"ope, just gonna squeeze on past yuh there" is how Minnesotans say "excuse me"
ARGH you ALMOST hired an Usagi 😭so close!!!
Looking forward to the graveyard build! You should level it up right away if you can, I imagine it'll mostly be covered by your colonists.
Sjin: Let's get a Fire Dragon
Colony: I am made of oak wood... I guess it's time for a lot of Charcoal.

I'm so happy to discover you're back and making videos again! Always loved your build videos, excited to dive into the new stuff as well.
Where I live (Quebec, Canada) we say “tigidou” to say “okay” or “I’m on it” or something like that. Foreigners like the sound of it for some reason. We are also famous in the French world for our curse words
We also have the joyful version “tigidou laye douh” or “tigidou l’ail doux” i really have no idea how to write it it’s purely speech only
I found this series and your channel about 2 weeks ago, started on ep 1. Now I've finally catched up, love it!
The two of my favorite games: Minecraft and Apex Legends. Im glad you're playing them too
A common bit of slang from Australia is you can say someone is "going off like a frog in a sock" when someone is being crazy
Another one is to say that someone is "flat out like a lizard drinking" when someone is really busy and doing alot
Nothing like waking up to a new episode from Sjin. Keep up the great work Sjin, love your episodes!
Budge is common slang in the Midwest for skipping the line or moving something out of place along with you betcha as a form of agreement
Really crazy raid! Those hordes just aren't as easy as the pirates. Well played!
Fire dragon: Trogdor!
Also, hey there I am! Not a Scotsman but a decedent of
From the black country in the Midlands, one common slang is 'Ow bin ya' its a play on, "how are you" or "how have you been" 😁
I was raised in Gibraltar and the slang for the monkeys living there was muggers due to them frequently stealing things and breaking into houses.
North Yorkshire n proud of it. Have some pretty simple and catchy phrases like:
'Ey up (Hello)
Be reet (it'll be alright)
'Ow do? (How are you doing?)
Also quite informal with adressing people (though it varies depending on where in Yorkshire):
Love
Mate

We also have the definitive best way of saying Bastard, get to channel your inner Sean Bean every time.
For the fire dragon, it should be named Hephestus.

Looks like its time for some guard towers and walls in the corner by the University
You really need to build more guard towers on the edge of your colony to expand your boarders.
A sword is a beast for chopping bamboo
Name the dragon lil gem for me bro

"-Spyro looking-" ... It's a fire dragon, so how about 'Pyro'?
"Grom" which is both an obscure bit of Californian slang, and also a great name for a dragon
Let more research take place. Also you can repair your neptunium axe by enchanting with mending, which allows you to repair it with xp
Unless you already fixed it, your walls near your barracks will still be skewed
Jawn (pronounced john but with a more of an a on the o): it could be a street, a person, a thing or anything else. example: That Jawn (boy) dropped his Jawn (wallet, ball, toy) into the Jawn (street, sewer, valley) basically if you dont know what something is called or cant think of the word you call it a Jawn

My 30 year old slang is as follows:
Innit Dan, me bruv's from No'in'num, innit!
The gosh dam graveyard

@@sjin I'm better with numbers then I am with letters 😂 but I hear that can be fun as well

Where I'm from we call all soda coke, and i suggest Thorn as the name for the new dragon
You’ll take a lot less damage if you put on full enchanted diamond armor for the raids.
10:07 It was funny🤣
Greetings from Ukraine)
You sounded more like Stephen Merchant than Russel Howard doing the Bristolian accent
Sorry that you are feeling Blue about the Dragon. (Maybe adding armor to the next Dragon Ride) Dragon Names for the Fire dragon; Ember, Burner, Hot Breath. You could name the dragon Hookfang.
Oh my god thank you I’m yodaclise!! I also believe I have another named dagabah so thank you for that too! You are awesome. Keep on keeping on
And rose dagabah is no more so now I am one again 😞 lol

You can bread dragons with fish

you should start fishing again or checking the fishing hut to get some more neptune chests with neptuniaum ingots and tools.
New dragon should be called "George", since you didn't called the old this.
I like how no one noticed that the current video description is from the previous episode.
For the dragon name, go for something simple, like Jake. Or Mushu
I think you should name your fire dragon Berfomet
I was born in Arkansas and we say' bless you're heart It's basically pitying you.
In Denmark we have these slang words for “cool”: Sygt, kodylt, sejt, svedigt, sindsygt(crazy)

Ignitex is the name of a dragon in the book I'm writing. The dragon is a female scorch dragon. She is red.
Sjin, c'mon man. This needs to be a daily upload. It's so much fun. Keep it up! Cool idea is to make like an hour long video without cuts!
for the fire dragon name you could call them Igneel Dragneel
I'm from the US south, specifically Texas. Common phrase is "bless your heart", it means basically you're calling someone a dumba$$
Call the Dragon Shendu
So.... Are you planning on making a modpack like this? because I'd love that!, or is there a server i can play in? I've seen a lot of modpacks but they've either got better minecraft OR minecolonies... not both...
