This is a re-uploaded video. I am in the process of amending some of my video's content!
Awesome man got make that $
FINALLY!!!
A shooter on youtube that doesn't call a rifle a gun.
@alaskan811
Indeed! And only interesting rifles are accurate rifles!
This old man really in joy your videos keep up the great work
Thanks for the demonstration! Cool!
Thanks for making the video. The shotgun shooting deer hunters appreciate you very much.
I have a Ruger American in 270 when I sighted it in I shot under 1 inch groups it is a great rifle
@Layne Alexander
No doubt, whoever makes their barrels on these rifles, they do a helluva job. I own several now, and they all shoot 1MOA or better!
Yep that a Ruger American 350 legend is a super super nice rifle love it
@Jeffrey-hi1ot , indeed! In this class of budget rifles, I think that the RAR have the best factory barrels.
What mag are you using. My RAR 350 is having hard times feeding anything. Still no word back from ruger
Awesome awesome. You make it look to easy brother...... I love both my rugger Americans on is the ranch 350 legend shoots well for a 16" barrel
@corey cruce
HAHA THANKS! The Ruger Americans have some awesome barrels! Merry Christmas!
Enjoyed the video. I bought this rifle and it's a hammer and I love it.
Just made my decision, going to purchase a 350legend thanks for video on long range shooting sweet
@Chris M
Tell them Nito sent ya! Merry Christmas!
Great video. Thoroughly enjoyed.
@John Harrison
Thank you I appreciate the kind words! Merry Christmas!
Awesome Shoot’en Bro. I can’t wait to see you doing some Hunting this year with that load.
@Rooster Currie
Thanks! Me, too!!!
I just bought this same rifle. I don’t have the same ammo you have, but I’m super stoked about this firearm deer season in Michigan. Ruger makes great firearms.
@Ken Temple
Indeed, I am excited to hunt with it this year in Ohio!
Nice rifle been wanting a go wild for a while now. And great shooting too. Great video keep it up. 👍
@a_welder_from_alabama
Indeed. When I 1st so this camo, i was like I gotta have one! Thank you for the kind words!
Looking at the Ruger myself if I don't decide to go custom. Great video as always!
@Jeff S
You cannot go wrong with a Ruger!
W O W !!! 3 in the same general hole! 0_0
Everything awesome.
Just picked up that rifle for my wife. I was thinking 300 yards with still 1000 ft lbs of energy or so.
Cool. Awesome video. Thanks!
At 300 yards a 150 gr bullet is still traveling 1328 fps is has 587 ft lbs of energy. The muzzle speed was 2325 fps
Great video and great shooting I think I'm going to buy one of these
@danny duncan
Thank you Danny! You will be pleasantly surprised!!
Can't wait to get mine scoped and have some fun
Great Video! Good job.
@Ryan Albright
Thanks Ryan!
What kind of groups at 100 yards did you get with factory? I have this on layaway but may switch it to the ranch model because I've been told it's more accurate, and two guys had one of ea h at range today and the go wild grouped terrible while the ranch grouped great, may have been shooter though
I love your video's.
@robert schaap
Thanks Robert I appreciate that!!
Good video. Please shoot some factory rounds through a factory rifle for those of us that aren't hand loaders. That way we can get an idea of what to expect from off the shelf equipment.
@Ericka C
I will try that!
@@AP2020_Outdoors Thank you sir, would be greatly appreciated. I took a young 175lb Texas boar with my new 16" AR in 350 Legend earlier this week. The shot was just shy of 100 yards. I used the Winchester 150 grain XP, hit him high right shoulder, he went down like he had been hit with a shovel and stayed down. I was a little surprised the bullet passed through, but it certainly did its job well. I have been using 7.62x39 on hogs and it does a great job. But this is my new favorite hog thumper cartridge. A semi-auto AR rifle with a 20 round magazine full of a cartridge that has similar ballistics to the legendary .30-30 for shooting hogs is a winner in my book. If it will blow a fairly large hog down like that it won't have any trouble at all on deer.
Just bought this gun, glad it tested so well. cant wait to shoot it!
@edkleindienst
You will be Happy with the results!
I just bought that exact rifle I love it can’t wait to take it out deer hunting this year but My scope is 3/9/40 is really all I need where I hunt. But that’s a nice set up you have..
I have the same rife as well. I have Leopold VX freedom 3-9x40mm cal. matched for the 350 legend. I love it, I have taken a doe and a nice 8 point. The doe was at 200 and the buck was at 220. Both didn't go over 40 yards. And off the bench it's holding 3 in groups at 300 yards.
nice job! i wish i waited for that model to come out.
do you think the 18 or 20 inch barrel is worth the extra weight for the 350 AR style guns?
Awesome shooting, nice rifle, hope you have better luck then i did with your ruger
@Cat Jack Off-Road
Thank you Sir!
Very nice! The scope and mount is about double what the rifle costs. That is a SWEET setup for sure!!!
@jesus lovesme
HAHA no doubt! Nothing wrong with great glass on a great rifle!! Thanks!!!
I wish ruger would put a longer barrel on this rifle
@Bruce Lewis A longer barrel may gain velocity, however, the 350 Legend pretty much mazes out at 22".
7:20 pretty cool to see the air wave of the bullet. Looks like it’s dropping hard.
@Jeremy Lakenes
No doubt...gotta love those bullet traces! Yes, at extended ranges the LOW B.C. of the bullets are not helping!! LOL
@@AP2020_Outdoors do they make boat tail 355 or 357 bullets for other guns?
Good rifle, very good shooter !!
@JR N
Thanks!
When a coyote wanders bye and your deer hunting in a non high power rifle state the $2 a round your shoot him with using the 350 Legend vs a $6 20 gauge Remington accutip just makes me happier. Besides the 100 yard head shots are pretty easy with the legend.
@Stephen Patterson indeed. The days of overpriced deer slugs are gone! I can reload my own ammo for a lot cheaper!
I have the same rifle in 450BM and love it! Between my grandson and me it has accounted a dozen whitetails all one shot kills. I purchased a Weatherby in 350 legend to try this year. But my 450 is not going anywhere
Nice shooting
@The Watchmaker
Thank you Sir!
I can’t find ammo for my go wild 350 legend I was wondering if the muzzle brake on the barrels effect velocity and accuracy ? I’ve never had a rifle with a muzzle brake until now
@Darrell Ramsey
The only time a muzzle device, be it a brake or even a suppressor affects the accuracy is if the threads on the barrel and/or the device itself is non-concentric = "uneven" with the bore of the rifle barrel. This will cause inaccuracies.
Liked and subscribed 👍👍😃
@Joe Nguyen-Vlog
Thanks!!
Nito Worlds next 350 Legends Master!! 50 days should be Snow and time to hunt Mr. Big Boy...
@GLOCK23FAN !!!
No doubt !!!
Thank you for this video. I am tired of the 450BM lovers saying the 350 Legend won't shoot past 200. Now, will it knock down a deer at that range? The farthest I got so far is 268 on a doe.
@David Haupt
Indeed. Awesome shot on that doe. Merry Christmas!
Can you at least tell me the powder your using?
I have a sub moa load with 4227 and the 170gr. Hornaday soft point but I'm not happy with the speed.
@glocktard 2120
Hodgdon Powder Lil'Gun
@@AP2020_Outdoors THANKS... I new it!
I use LiL-Gun in two 450 bushmaster loads.
Have either of you tried h110 or 4298?
You and Cyclops Videos youtuber would be a great pair of Scope Nerds 😆 LOL.. Cyclops Joe he's Legit great guy.
@GLOCK23FAN !!!
HAHA, thanks!!
when you said "40 degrees in may, welcome to Ohio" I immediately subscribed. As a fellow Ohioan I feel your disappointment.
@Ian Messer
LOL no doubt. Gotta love our Ohio weather...Thanks for the sub!
I have this rifle. I was wonder what the ballistics is on this gun with a 150 gr. Factory load
@Darrell Ramsey
Similar, probably 2,300fps with a 150gr factory load.
You think the 350 can take a deer at 300 yards
@crislt1
With the "right" bullet = yes. Is there a right bullet designed right now = NO!!
NICE video. Tip put both straps behind the steel.
@Charles Bullee
Thanks, will do!
If u had a choice between 350 legend and a 6.5 creedmoor with won would u go with ?
@Roland Shaw jr
It depends! If you live in a Midwestern state where only straight walled cartridges like the 350 Legend are only allowed for deer hunting; then go with the 350 Legend. Otherwise, 6.5Creedmoor. Honestly, if it were me, BOTH!!!
Ok ty I live in New Hampshire. I’m have trouble deciding witch one to buy lolo
You have any feeding issues with this rifle? I just got one and it won't cycle through 5 rounds without having issues.
@Jarrod Bartlett I must have gotten lucky, I use metal AR mags and I have since moved the action to a chassis with no issues!
What happened on the first group? Everything looked good to me through the scope...... Trigger jerk?
@Chance Terrill I don't recall? However, at 307 yards I can promise you no "trigger jerking" going on!! LOL
Maybe cold barrel vs warmed.
What dies are you using for the 350?
@Michael Spreckelson
Lee dies.
I love the round
.great shooter..
I bought a Ruger all american, and it would not cycle the rounds. 5 months later, they had to give me a new one .
Maybe I am a gun snob, but I do not like how the action works...
1 cleanshot
Absolutely = accurate, deadly, legal for Ohio, low recoiling!
@cwlongshot
Only the 5 and 10 rounders from Duramag will feed. A fully loaded 20 rounder is too heavy, the magazine sags in the front and the rounds nose dive. No worries, as we are only allowed 3 shots total during our Ohio deer gun season!!
What does are you using for the 350?
@Michael Spreckelson
Lee dies.
Do you know the pounds of felt recoil for this round?
@Tom n
No idea. I would guess it is less than a 20 gauge shotgun!
Something like 8 to 9lbs in a 7.5lb rifle
can you send a link for the mags by chance?
@Nick dingo
Here you go. bit.ly/3i35WpM
What was your hold over at 300 yards?
@tskirchman
2.1 mils or 7 MOA or 22.5"
Thank you
What brand bench are you using??
@Tom Preiss
bit.ly/2XBiHOE
@@AP2020_Outdoors thanks
How many yards are these capable of shooting at
@Roland Shaw jr
415 yards, :)
AP2020 Outdoors ok ty
Hitting a steel target at 300yds is great, however in a real world application this calibers maximum effective range (while still having enough ft lb of energy to achieve a humane 1 shot kill) tops out back in the vicinity between 200/250 yds.
Illinois dnr site shows it to 275 yards and has 583 ft lbs of energy more than a 158 grain 357 magnum its only 539 at the muzzle. 300 yards it will kill.
Are you planning on hunting with this rifle? Because I think Ohio requires .357 or larger, and the 350 uses .355 bullets. Great shooter!
350 is legal in Ohio
@Stan Potter
A good point I brought up when the 350 legend first came out, however it looks like Ohio and some other Midwest states have made an exception regarding the bullet's diameter. AND yes, I will be deer hunting with a 350 Legend this year in Ohio.
@@AP2020_Outdoors Good deal! They should! Not like 2/1000th of an inch will make any difference! LOL. Happy hunting!
What velocity?
@Eric Earhart
2,540fps
@@AP2020_Outdoors Iam getting 2300fps with 158XTP in 360 DW brass with Lil'Gun. Good stuff.
Ruger claims they make their own barrels
@SouthTexasRed I am sure that they do!
Great video....ffp scope though....lol...but there's a video [f someone hot at 700 yards with a sfp scope..took alot longer than you did though you zoomed right in..but your set up with scopes was more costly than the gun..but none the less show what you can do for not really that much money
Deer and coyotes better watch out. This be good choice give regular rifle that is ohio legal. Do to how the case is a straight case and not bottleneck
@James Pugh
No doubt!! Once i started using the Lehigh Defense bullets, I have done a complete 180 on the 350 Legend!!
Dude...just cycle the bolt. Stop trying to catch the ejected brass. Just let it fly. Pick it up later.
