Alot of them from the east coast work in Hollywood seasonally and bought condos over there. Have no idea where they live 😂
not gonna be black beverly hills much longer if the families keep selling it for the first piece of change they are offered. People get trusts in order
@@anthonythomas5998 the area is over 90% black, its not mixed. The residents of the area do stick together. A lot have been in the homes 30,40,50 years. My comment is in regard to a designation that cant continue if people are selling. But to answer the question people who live in that area are representative of what hard work and building wealth can accomplish. At the very least, looking at those that live in the area is inspiring and motivates some to seek the same progress and success.
Yep. And some people need that cash now and the way the market has been going for the past 10 odd years, seems like it reached a peak. It would be great if the homeowner could sell that property to a neighbor but that person would have to have enough cash. I grew up in a neighborhood in the South that got gentrified and one of the neighbors who was cash rich tried to buy out anybody who was trying to leave but enough folks left and he didn't have enough money or will to take on that amount of mortgage loans. It sucks but plenty of folks in LA I've seen who are house poor, especially those whose parents or themselves bought homes when they were cheap as hell pre 1990s. Seen a guy with a property that was worth $750k in 2012 and couldn't make the property tax payments and almost lost his house remortgaging.
So don’t wait on a trust to inherit your parents property. Buy your own house in the neighborhood and god forbid your parents pass but then you’ll have another property in the area. That’s how you add to your families wealth in your own section.. just saying because I did!..
