I’ve watched 15 different wing cooks, and they never get old. I don’t have the jotisserie, but think it would be a nice Christmas present for me to give to myself! Love wings on the Kammado Joe, nice job Max 👍🏼
You will thank yourself everyday that's for sure! It's my favorite way of doing them. Thanks for watching!!
Look fantastic! Love Gary and the crew at AGC!!!!
I’m gonna need that basket for my Joetisserie!
Honestly, one of my favorite accessories for the KJ. Makes cleanup super easy too!
Oh yeah love honey seasoned wings wish that napoleon fit my blaze. They turned out fantastic nicely done.
It’s definitely going into the regular lineup for sure! Thanks for watching!
8:55 -9:10 ,no need to say more !!
I'll be trying that Thanks man! Looks great!
LOL! You got to try it! Thanks for watching!
You are my new go to Kamado Joe cooking channel, keep it up!
Try Picanha (sirloin cap) Brazilian cut that is excellent on the Joe. Would love to see if you prefer it fat cap on or fully trimmed.
Right on! Thanks for watching! Glad you're liking the videos! I would love to do Picanha soon! I've looked for it before but next time I can find it, I'm picking it up!
Those wings DO look awesome!
Thank you! Some of the best i've made!
Sir, you know how to eat! Kamado is getting lit 🔥 in a few hours!
Fire it up!!! Thanks for watching!
Good video. Any other ideas of what to do with the Napoleon basket besides wings? I am thinking of getting one.
Honestly, I love to throw a veggie assortment in there and let it roast away. Brussel sprouts, potatoes, onions. Can’t beat it!
Just got my Napoleon basket and am looking forward to wings and football season. Where did you get your kickash divider from? The only dividers I see are SS plates and not SS round stock. Thanks
Awesome video man. I went out and got a Joetisserie and basket because of you! Do you have trouble cleaning the basket?
Right on!!! You'll love that combo!! Can't wait to hear how it goes! On cleaning, i really don't have issues. I throw it in the dishwasher and it comes out good as new!
Great video...what's your trick to get the wings crispy (as close to fried as possible). I have this set up and the wings have been great, but skin what I'd consider crispy.
I let them dry out on the counter top for about an hour before I throw them on! That dries out the skin before I hit them with the oil. I also take my wings a little over 165 so that helps in getting that final crisp on them!
Those look great! I cook my wings the exact same way, except I don't have the kick ash basket, so I just bank the coals on one side. I'm shocked how clean your Napoleon basket is. What's your secret for cleaning it so well?
Thanks for watching! Banking your coals is just as good - I like the basket mostly because it helps with cleanup. As for the Napoleon basket, I throw it in the dishwasher! Works like a charm!
Why is good use only half fire?
Just curious, is there any strategy as far as which direction the rotisserie spins? I've noticed that the majority of the time you have it rotating towards the front of the smoker direction. Do you have any thoughts on that?
Thanks for watching! Honestly, I think the Joetisserie is random on what direction it goes. I don't try to get it to go in one direction or another.
@@KamadoMax from what I've read, it alternates direction every time the switch is hit. I don't have one installed yet. Any tips on how to clean the Napoleon basket? Just throw it in dishwasher?
@@HeyNikP Oh good to know! For cleaning I just throw it in the dishwasher and it does a great job!
Hmmm. Just a thought. Maybe boneless wings on the joetisserie
That’s a great idea! I’ve thought too about cubing up chicken breast and throwing them in there. Kind of an at home chicken nugget sort of thing!
@@KamadoMax it’s definitely worth a shot. Haha
Nice vid, but I only subscribe to “grill/smoking” channels that DO NOT use rubs and sauces that I have to buy. It’s lazy YouTubing in my book.
