So....for around $70 or so US DOLLARS....ya get an AUDIO/INTERFACE -- and a couple of Cool Apps for guitar playing and recording !!? Pretty Cool...ToneX sounds good!!👍🤜🤛
I have the official camera USB to lightning kit from Apple, would this work on my ipad? I don't want to spring for the HD sense Apple's doing away with Lightning soon anyway.
You should do a comparison between this one and the iRig 2, with the cancelation test as you use to do - to see if it's worth getting. Thanks for your videos!
Has anyone actually connected the irig USB to an older iPhone/ipad with the lightning to USB 3 Camera Adapter? IK Multimedia states on their website and the box it comes in, that it’s compatible. The UA-cam videos that I’ve watched all states it but they don’t show it or say they’ve tested it ( like this video) Mine just arrived but I can’t get it to work. It just lights up. I’m using an up to date IPad Air 3 with the original Apple adapter. Any suggestions?
Did you buy your addaptor direct from Apple? Also, are you sure it has enough power for the device? I don't own the IRig and am actually wondering if it's worth it. I have an ipad myself and would be running into it.
Hi Jason, as you are well known and respected long time Helix, HX Stomp, and Helix Native user, your insights and comments about how each of these new IK iRig USB units work and particularly how each sounds with Helix Native on a Windows 11 PC would be greatly appreciated. This, in lieu of using the Helix or HX hardware as the Audio Interface. Thanks and keep up the great work!
Hi, both of the interfaces work nicely with Helix Native, but will require a small adjustment to the input level hitting the front of Native for it to sound as the Helix is intended. For the HD X, you would need to cut 2.5 db from the input level going into Native and since the HD X does not have an instrument level input control, that change in the software. For the iRig USB, you would need to add 3db to the instrument level to have it sound as Helix intends, this can be done with the encoder on the front which controls the instrument level. Other than that, both devices sound great with Native and I have had no issues using them on my Windows 11 PC. Hope that helps :-)
@JasonSadites, in follow-up... When either are connected to your Win 11 PC and used as the AI for Helix Native, would monitoring via headphones w/ minimal or no latency be accomplished by connect the headphones to to the IK unit's headphone output? Or, to the PC's headphone output? Additionally, the does the HX work with current Android devices (the irig USB explicitly states that it does work with Android)?
At present I use my trusty old Line6 Guitar Port as my guitar interface. I have headphones plugged into that and listen to my guitar using Guitar Rig software. I also use the Guitar Port's big volume knob to adjust headphone volume when just watching UA-cam videos and the like. What I want to know is, will the Irig USB completely replace the Line 6 Guitar Port? Can i leave my headphones plugged into it and listen to other stuff when not playing guitar?

What about latency?
What about Latency? Is this solve all the delay/latency problems while play and listen?

does it work with tonebridge
This bit at the end was your best jam of all that I've heard. I especially liked the part you played before the black guitar.
Thanks so much! Really glad you enjoyed it :-) That is a very old tune of mine that I recently re-recorded with my friend Marco Minnemann on drums!
Hi, there. Is the contest worldwide or just for US citizens?
It is worldwide 😀
No headphone volume control?
Has to be done in the host software.
