Thank you for the video, there's so much content it's hard to know what to pursue for the best gear without guidance. Also, just FYI, the insta-kill actions are still effective regardless of level differences. I cleared out that level 20 base as a level 9 character on the hardest difficulty setting because I had the right hacking and stealth skills/gear...it did take about an hour and a half though.

This game is so immersive; playing this in 4k with the pulse headphones at night. I made it to the Great Plains regions last night and it was so beautiful. I know gameplay is Far Cry but that is trumped by all the other positives.

Tbh it does feel like far cry but in my opinion it's the best far cry game out there. It does Far cry so much better it feels natural because all those elements are literally straight outta the movie

The lvl 20 and lvl 19 can be done at any level if you know how to stealth the game for the bow and the shotgun, did the lvl 20 at lvl 7 as a duo, but just done the lvl 19 solo for the shotgun, hack turrets and store the hacks for the objectives makes it easy
Ubisoft and the others out did themselves. It's such an immersive game. Beautiful artwork. There is a huge creature, I didn't even see them until the story pointed them out. There is so much to do that my mind is overwhelmed. The environment itself is a puzzle. When there are things to read, you actually should read them. It helps to figure things out. A lot of other games put information in it to give the game depth. This game actually has depth because the information is useful when figuring out how to get things done. These people didn't just make a game. They created an adventure with depth, character, and mindfulness. I have done a few of the side missions. OMG! Amazing! Stupendous! Mind Engaging! Even the side missions are just as engaging as the main missions. This video talks about weapons? Maybe this guy doesn't want to ruin others' play through or experience, which makes sense. But, there is a lot more than weapons in this game. Major LOL! My mind is blown! To Ubisoft and the Others who were involved in the creation of this game? You are the pinnacle of game makers. The great thinkers of our age. There are things in this game that have me thinking about who I am. Mind engaging stuff, yes, there are battles, but it is not just some mind-numbing killing for the sake of it. This game has real depth! They put a lot of thought into everything! I hope that I didn't give any spoilers to the people who are hoping to play this game? I truly apologize! But, this game is AWESOME! I'm so impressed that my mind will explode if I don't say, something! Major LOL!
Uh, are we playing the same game? It's just reskinned Farcry with AC scan-o-vision 🤷♂ there's literally nothing remarkable about it aside from them updating Snowdrop to include RTGI and volumetric rendering making the world look more believable. Still doesn't hold a candle to UE5. The gameplay is also copy pasta. Even the same plot from Farcry 6. Abducted kid turned resistance fighter 😆Side quests are all the same flavor as every Ubi game too. Even the launch screen and character menu feels samey.
You are impressed way too easily. There's nothing spectacular about this game at all. Far cry 6 is much better and that's a couple years old now.

@@creed3173 Then stop reading them? Everyone's entitled to their opinion and criticism. Ubislop earns it's name every year for a reason.
They should make every base replayable but increase difficulty to level 20 to all bases once you complete them the first time around and give you max level materials instead of weapons so you can craft things, potentially craft firearms with different perks on them. Or craft different weapons altogether with different perks.

Agreed. Far Cry New Dawn's system was perfect. You grind bases for materials to continualy upgrade your weapons with no cap. It was so fun getting beyond OP in that game. No other Far Cry style game even comes close in my opinion.
You can get a the lighting heavy bow it’s really good. Doesn’t shoot lighting but has different arrows that have electric shots. It powers scale is 110 you have to do a short side quest to get it. It only took like 5 mins for me to do
It's been my favorite weapon for 1-shotting the mechs. Sometimes it's 2 (zap then normal arrows) and it seems to be more silent than if I one-shot them with the normal arrow alone. This weapon made the game more enjoyable for me, before it seemed like I was perpetually underclassed and progress was frustrating.
I was at level 8 or 10 when I got it, I'm at 15 now and still keep using it. It ry to be stealthy and silent and storm ammo works better than flame for that play style.
This game is amazing. Graphics gameplay and the immersive gameplay it really does have it. I like this game alot.
Loving this game so far and i wasn’t a huge avatar fan to begin with. The only critique is it feels very lonely, and unless in coop, you are always doing missions in isolation. Would have been nice to have a follower system or have unique missions where you double up with an NPC.
There are some missions where others join you and you have your Ikran for company plus there are many conversations over the radio. This game is as much to do with exploration as it is combat (if not more) and is very open world. Having an NPC joining you would contradict the ethos of the game and make it more linear. I've never felt lonely playing this game - the deadly plants, animals and RDA are enough company and being tied to an NPC preventing me for taking off and randomly flying somewhere as and when I want would spoil what I believe this game is about.

Ubisoft did very well here and I’ve played a few of their games. World is pure gorgeous, crafting is class. I love going out to find bits and bobs to be able to craft said blueprint! Always best to ignore the sheep - anyone who tries to troll you based on a third party understanding of a game (having never played it themselves) is not worth engaging.
I was at the very final bit of the very last mission (the refuel part). I had to leave because my gear just wasnt strong enough to do it. Now ive got to start over but need to make sure im prepared!
Everybody's like omg this game is far cry etc. And I'm here like the far cry saga is one of my favorite games to play what are the issues people have with far cry? Good gameplay, good storyline, good graphics, and u can play with a friend, i see no issues at all

I am an OG Farcry fan. Farcry 2 and 3 are my favorites. Literally every game since Farcry 3 has been the same lazy ass shit. They stopped caring. The AI, gunplay / guns, world design is all just reskinned Farcry 3. Farcry hasn't had a proper sequel, new feeling game since then. Farcry 4 got away with it because the story was that good. Also, no FOV slider on console just ruins the series even further. Ubisoft did the same thing with Assassin's Creed.

Both my friend and I trudged through it at level 8 lol! Got the bow even before we got Ikrans! Took 1hr. through Death by respawn 🤣😂
I crafted all my gear and weapons with the best materials to make them. these where more powerfull then the items you get from the boxes. also i collected all health points. I was like a tank when i did all last 19 and 20 missions. The health perk was very good. where you get health back when you defeat an enemy
I got the apex skill in the maker tree and all the gear i craft now makes me feel like a fucking god 😂
You can get better Na'vi weapons when you craft them. I got the apex skill in the maker tree, so I got to craft a heavy bow at 380 dmg and crafted a shortbow at 210. The best Na'vi weapon i've found in a chest i got from laser ore processor alpha.
Me and my buddy did the base at level 4-6 that thing was hard we had to stealth it cause even hitting the weak spot did nothing

That longbow isnt the best one. You get no blueprint for it! That means it cant get stronger. I get that bow today with an attack stat at 137 damage. The bow that im using ( the one you can buy the blueprint from Solek) have 182 damage (crafted) .... which one is actually the best long bow? (sry for my bullshit english)😅

crafter heykinak's relentless shortbow but it gives me nimble archer instead of fussilade. i used exquisite items to all.

These are ok at best lol To REALLY get the best ones in the game you'll have to craft! My newest heavy bow does almost 300 dmg and i didn't even use the very best ingredients

@@thestormageddn I find the strongest heavy bow is the 'black wind' - when maxed out with exquisite materials it can give up to 203 damage and 35% on top when the target has a status effect (making it the most powerful). Flame arrows also ignite nearby enemies and insta kill most amps. This bow also reduces draw time by 20% and does another 10% damage to wildlife (best for hunting) and 10% when in stealth.
I got the heavy bow at level 9 the process of completing it was a long story

The level 20 base was the hardest thing I've ever had to do in the game🤣
I had the exact opposite experience actually; I came in thinking it was going to be the hardest thing in the world but all of the clothing i crafted made me like a fucking god and i didn't take even close to 1/4 of my health away. I was able to do it in like 45 mins. Id say just go in there prepared. I used my Na'vi weapons most of the time because the mods made me gain health and energy back if i took someone out, and my guns didn't have good mods so they would'nt really help. I'd say just go in there prepared. I got the apex skill in the maker tree beforehand and i crafted a heavy bow that was like 300+ damage because of it. Just make sure you have good clothing and good weapons and you're set. When you get to the laser room, there's a tunnel that the laser shines through that's your best friend. You have a vantage point and things to hide behind and the amps won't follow you there. You just do the objectives and when you see the amps come in just pick them off from that spot. You should also think about getting some mods/clothing that gives you back some health after you kill an enemy, because there's a lot of enemies that are very strong.

Just letting you know I got the base version of Avatar, am about 30 hours in, beat everything except a healthy thanator, and got my money's worth already. Will definitely get the DLC. Haven't felt this good about a purchase in a decade. Truly a masterpiece of a video game and worth the price tag, even with glitches or extra bits for sale.

@@alainkessler3247 if you dont wanna spend the $130 for it i believe. you can just get ubisoft+ for $15 a month& still get the benefit from ultimate edition if you're interested in that. just wish it was on steam. assuming you're like me & dont have an ssd for games then you'll need avatar on ssd or it'll be choppy & really bad. thats why i got it on ps5

Get the apex skill in the maker tree, that's a big help when making better gear. It really makes all of your crafted stuff better and it also increases the quality of your materials. Watch some tutorials on making gear. there's a dish combo that makes you get the best stats when gathering. Make Navao's mushroom pie and a crunchy stir fry. eat the mushroom pie first and then the egg fry. the mushroom pie makes you always gather in perfect conditions so you don't need to wait for specific things or be careful when gathering, as you always get the perfect combo, and with the stir fry, you gain an extra 20% of those bonuses, making you get top notch materials.
With eating those dishes and with the apex skill, all of my clothing is 400+ health, my heavy bow is at 380 dmg and my shortbow is at 220 dmg.

You mean like the buffs, other than like mods idk cause the mods add different effects and you get different ones throughout for like shotguns or heavy bows other then that idk I think it depends on the weapon itself
Idk how I did it but I finally managed to unequip the head gear mod look. Play around with the options, it's hidden there somewhere

I defeated the highest of all RDA base in. It didn’t give me that pattern like I defeated it when I was level 10 and they never gave me the pattern, and I just beat the game so I don’t know why I don’t have it please help

I did the level 20 rda alpha outpost at level 5 it was very hard but i manage to do it
I tried st 15 and once I got inside the first area I could not damage the Amp suit at all, tried all my bows and ammo type. Also tried shotgun and AR but no damage so keft it, then completed it when I git lvl 19.

You get better weapons if you can make it through the RDA base without being detected
Do you recommend playing through the main storyline, and then going after the rda bases? Just reached the upper plains and I don’t wanna do them if I’m gonna miss out on gear early in the game
Pretty sure you can do rda bases whenever you want, unless you're too under-geared then it'll be a challenge for some
if you're like me, i personally do everything i can & then work on the main story. if you want every area fully unlocked as in you can fly your ikran then get to the mission "The Hidden Clan" & you can call your ikran in the last area. i got to that part & now im just doing everything i can then finish the main story

Does it matter what lvl you are when you get these? Like does it do anything towards the damage the weapon does?
There are no levels in this game in the traditional sense! Your "level" is calculated by the gear you equip and the skills you've unlocked.

@@UnG0dlYL0ads95 Yes, it would! The level has no impact on anything, it only shows you a rough approximation of your current, lets say "survivability", and nothing else.
I found the 280 dmg shotgun pretty early on and have been using it ever since! It's very easy to get as the outpost mosty consists of turrets and only two AMPs, i would recommend the auto hack tho, otherwise it takes forever lol
@@UnG0dlYL0ads95 the battle level is basically saying your overall gears with damage, health, armour and buffs from skills compared to damage , health and armour of your enemy. like your boy will do 180ish dmg but the mech may have like 500-1000 health. but if your stealthy enough you can do the lvl 20 one whenever ya want

Are these weapons stronger then the ones you can craft?
No. I'm not sure about the guns but by far crafting is the best. My heavy bow does 305 damage. My short bow, the weakest, but my favorite, bow in the game does 200 damage. My short bow alone can 1 shot most things.

The short bow is given to you as you progress in the main story. It's the last bow you'll be given (though you'll still get upgrades later on)

TLDR: just play the game play an it automatically gives you all the best stuff without even having to try because it's an Ubisoft game.

I got the best heavy bow with my friend we were level 5 when doing the base . We were so happy when getting it , thankfully you dont have to kill enemies to finish the base :p

The level 20 base is part of a story mission and other people have reported hitting an invisible wall when trying to get in there.

@@densetsunoakaza5911 I have since done so as well (after main story). They must have been referring to Mercer's base. It does reload you back to the main map if you get past it's turrets.

Anyone found an exquisite longbow Mod? It's my last exquisite item
You are given one when you complete the main story and you can buy one with in-game favor from one of the avatar sellers at the main camp in the clouded forest (not the resistance base). I recall also being given exquisite longbow plans to create one through crafting from completing missions but I never used it anyway - preferred the heavy and short bows.
Play side quest, these are not the best weapons in the game I was a lvl 16 with a better weapons that I was low cause of my skills doing side missions and crafting bows is way better than this the assault rifle and shut gun are right but there are much better bows that deal way more damage through crafting
My bow does 341 in damage ...

ur the definition of chaos the navi talk about, u just go in and destroy everything like it’s cod, this isn’t farcry this is pandora, i see you have no regard over stealth on outposts and don’t really care about hitting weak spots on wildlife, you haven’t even explored around the map with how cloudy your map looks like, any negative review from your part should not be taken seriously as you didn’t understand the point of the game
this game looked great but was boring af tbh, wasn't even worth the 15$ paid for a month of ubisoft subscription to try it, classic ubisoft things
To me the game just does not look as colorful or as beautiful like the movie it looks like an horizon ripoff. Such a shame there is no love story and when you explore the world its boring there's not much to do to keep bringing you back so it just ends up everything your doing is pointless apart from the story and hardly any references to the movie so honestly guys get it on sale but if you want to fly around the planet and love that then get it. Co op by the way is about 22 percent into the game so you have to do a large portion before you play with friends.

- First Person Only
- No Melee Besides Punch
- Limited Flying
- Lack of Enemy Variety
- Again No Melee
-Third person does exist in aerial combat but first person is better to add to the immersion of the game and observe/interact with the enviornment - that is what this game is all about
- Melee also includes getting your ikran to take out choppers while flying on it and there is also a special albility that enables melee to take out groups of RDA with an aeria punch. Beating an NPC with a stick is not what this game is about
- Flying is anything but limited - you literally can call your ikran whenever you want and fly across one of the biggest open world maps and land where and when you want. You can also take out ground bases from the air. That statement alone makes me question if you've actually played this game
- While the enemy types are basic in terms of amps, foot soliders and turrets there are many varieties of each and don't forget the encounters in the forests
For me this game is anything but a huge disappointment. Each to their own I guess.
