I also have the island in my laundry room just flipped the other way and I have a rolling Landry sorter that just perfectly fits under it . Everyone thought I was crazy why do you need a kitchen island in the laundry room , well this is why it’s my folding table also it’s great .

Thank you! No, it’s not insulated so you do hear people walking around upstairs but it’s not too loud.
