    Wow loved the build, you did a brilliant job. I have mad.a.couple on Ade's wig wags but have only run them on compressed air. I shall have to follow your example and inspiration to try and make.one one.with a.steam boiler. Great job 😀

      Thank you very much! The boiler was the challenging part of the this project. You mast use silver soldering for the steam boiler. Good luck 👍

    That milling technique that starts at about 4:50 is pretty cool. I’ll file that in my keep in mind file in the ole thinkin cap. I love watching how folks figure out ways to accomplish things in machining. Nice work!!

    Part way through video . Two points of interest .# 1. When making the piston rod end it is usual to do all work before removing small bits from bar stock . # 2 at about 6.48 i am sure your ream holes will not be straight as i can see deflection with your reamer

    • @YooProjects
      @YooProjects  3 роки тому +2

      First thanks for watching :)
      Each product is a primary prototype.
      # 1 Sometimes there are design and manufacturing updates while manufacturing.
      # 2 The holes were accurate enough for the engine to work properly. In the end the engine worked well and I am very pleased with the result.
      You have a sharp and professional eye! I would love to receive a review from you in the following videos. Thank you :))

    Help! Great engine and boiler. I have built many small steam engines but run them on air. I followed your video to make a boiler, I have a bulldog gun that is advertised as even being able to do brass brazing. I am using 1.5mm 55% silver rod. I just can't seem to get the solder running even when red hot. It runs on small jobs but not something the size of this boiler.If you have time, could you give any advice and tell me the solder you use please? many thanks
