Personally, I can't go beyond S4Ep7. I will just watch the reactions till then. For me AoT means its first 3 seasons, the rest is a different show altogether.
@@amanchaudhary3340 Yeah, AoT is divided into two parts: before the basement and after the basement. The first part feels like a strange fantasy dream (humans vs weird giant creatures) and the second part is like the harsh reality that slaps you in the face like a cold bucket of water
you don't realize it when watching Eren but this entire time in this last episode he's hoping that the memories he saw aren't real. But when he sees the wall at the end, and the sea on the other side, it's all a confirmation. No freedom on the other side. Everything in his dad's memories is true, all the horrific shit. No freedom at all.
The saddest thing about this episode, is that the dream Armin and Eren shared is in fact not the same dream at all. Seeing the ocean stems from two very different desires. Armin wants to see it because of his natural curiosity and just his constant desire to understand things. The concept of the ocean is just fascinating for him. Eren on the other hand only saw the ocean as a symbol for his freedom. Then once he learned the truth via Grisha, seeing the ocean means absolutely nothing to him. All Eren cares about is freedom. For Armin to see Eren like that during one of the happiest moments in his life is the worst. Seeing the ocean with Eren was something he looked forward to for years, but now he realized that Eren has long abandoned that dream. The only good thing that came out of that scene for him was being able to enjoy it with Mikasa
I see Eren as a someone who has experienced mental exhaustion or depression, I see his perspective as rooted in the human need for resolution. When someone is weighed down by immense inner turmoil, their primary goal often shifts from seeking happiness or freedom to achieving a sense of closure. For him, the sea is not an endpoint, but a reminder that his journey is far from over.
7:05 is the moment something broke inside of Erne. We see one of the very first moments where Eren’s beginning to realize that his dream for freedom may never really come true. One of the subtlest, saddest moments of the show that beautifully illustrates what it looks and feels like when a childhood dream approaches its’ end. The disillusionment and realizations that come with growing up and facing the harsh realities of the world change a person forever. The image of Fay, of a young girl’s mutilated body lying at the bottom of the riverbed, so poignantly encapsulates and illustrates the tragedy and pain of a dream already broken, before it’s barely even begun.
Geez that image of Fay’s body never fails to break my heart. To a little girl trapped behind the barbed wire fences of an internment zone her entire life, the idea of a machine that gives people wings and allows them to experience the freedom of the sky is just so exciting and so enticing - and for the crime of indulging that curiosity just once, she senselessly had to pay for it with her life. As Isayama, Greek mythology, and even the Bible have repeatedly shown us, curiosity and knowledge kills both ‘cats’ and dreams; just as how the acquiring of his father’s memories and the truth of the world are the roots of the budding corruption of Eren’s once seemingly innocent, dream.

4:59 I can understand Floch being harsh on Armin. Armin didn't do anything wrong. But to Floch, Armin should not be there at all. No matter how sincere Armin was, agreeing that it should be Erwin, it does not help. Him standing there would be a painful reminder to Floch that he didn't manage to revive Erwin. To make things worse, that's the thing that Floch defined as his meaning to survive among everyone else. So basically, Floch is probably seeeing his own inadequency through Armin surviving.
I expect Floch had a come-to-Jesus moment when he beat the odds and survive, and at that moment he decided it’s his life mission to help the “devil” to survive to save the humanity, that devil being Erwin. After Floch had done all the hard work to bring Erwin across the wall and up to the roof in hope to revive him, Levi ended up using the serum on Armin. It’s for sure destroying Floch’s mind and caused him to say all these things. What he said isn’t wrong for the most part from his perspective.
Just a little reminder that the animation studios changed for next season. Nothing bad though it's just a different style. Wit Studio animated seasons 1-3 while Mappa animated the final season
Finally, we have reached the 4 season. I hope you're ready for what's coming. The fourth season has taken the throne. Now, forget any series or movie you've watched before, because Attack on Titan is at its peak.❤🔥❤🔥❤🔥 I really enjoy watching your videos. Thank you guys🔥🔥
nahh astro we really are the same kind 💀 my comment literally talking about the same thing and it just 5minutes apart. Tho you post it first i didn't see ur comment till i post mine means i didn't copy urs
Eren's confession during the Serum argument that he actually forgot about his and Armin's dream to see the ocean together a long time ago and only had thoughts of hate in his head is honestly a huge moment for his character and establishes the difference between Eren and Armin and how they perceive their childhood dream of reaching the sea. I'm gonna quote an interview Isayama did for volume 18 back when in it released. Isayama: "Eren then was different from Armin who fought for the goal of seeing the sea once. In truth Eren is not committed to the sea. Even though Eren and Armin became great childhood friends because they shared the dream for "the world outside walls" but the root of that dream has some slight differences. Armin possessed a curiosity for knowledge, and held onto the thought of "I want to see the sea". On the other hand Eren viewed it as, "The sea exists but we don't have the freedom to see it" and he felt indignation towards that. He was not interested in the sea itself. Other than this, throughout the story all the situations Eren became involved with continues to change and his grasp of the sea itself subsequently fades. The gradual clarity of how the two of them have diverged in perspective, and Armin's own shock towards this realization, that's the story of that scene in volume 18" The scene Isayama's talking about is from the end of Season 3 part 1 when Eren, Mikasa and Armin are sat together talking about how things have changed, Armin mentions the outside world and the sea to Eren but Eren doesn't react and it causes Armin to realise that Eren doesn't care about their "shared" dream in the same way he does. When he talks about how he joined the Survey Corps to see all the scenery outside the walls and Eren brushes it off and says "Yeah I know you did" not including himself as if the dream only applies to Armin.
I believe Eren’s actions and emotions reveal a deeper motivation: resolution. I see Eren as a someone who has experienced mental exhaustion or depression, I see his perspective as rooted in the human need for resolution. When someone is weighed down by immense inner turmoil, their primary goal often shifts from seeking happiness or freedom to achieving a sense of closure. Eren’s obsession with freedom can be interpreted not as an end in itself but as a means to an end. This is why Eren doesn’t revel in the moment at the sea. For him, the sea is not an endpoint, but a reminder that his journey is far from over.
The bittersweet-ness of the ending with Eren no longer caring about the sea, and only focused on the enemies beyond, is so sad. Can't imagine how armin feels
It was as if Eren wanted that it wasn't as he saw in his dad's memories, because if it was, then the other side of the sea would be true...and everything that he saw happening in his dad's memories ... Floch’s reaction is extremely reasonable. Soldiers lay their lifes on the line trusting that the military does rational decisions. They need to know that even if they died, the sacrifices went towards the goal they agreed to risk their lives for. Eren and Mikasa disobeying the hierarchy and Levi making an emotional decision instead of the logical one spits into the face of everyone who risked their lives. ”Even fodder like me has the right to decide if it’s worth dying for.” The concept breaks down if leaders decide to get emotional after the sacrifices had already been made. I don't know if it was already planned or not but you should definitely react to the AOT music, Hiroyuki Sawano 'EMU' suite,, the OST for S4 uses previous music but the composer is different so the vibe is quite different (very fitting imo for the last season)... so it's ok to do it early ^^
16:32 Hange situation was different from the others in same position. I think it more difficult because in ss1 we knew we had to fight titans. But in ss4 we know the whole world hate eldia look at eldia as devils. In the situation ep 18 ss 3 I think she is suitable to next commender. In condition of Smart and experience she have. Despite what she said with herself ( I think She has under a lot of pressure for everyone and so much difficult situation because basically, The enemy is the whole world. ) but i don't think that like her said for she said with yourself (in season 4 when she think of Erwin give her the position of Commender) because I think she talent. Even though she like to research more than anything. But she is good in every way too. I think no one like erwin. Because he is a person who in another 100 years will meet someone like him. But Hange good for the position commender too for me. she know a lot of thing before everyone be like she knew Bertholdt couldn't steam forever and wait for him to stop. Anyway, Armin said in ss 3 that it was like Hange said. She is very observant. She can plan too. She plan when Reiner caught Eren. She know they must stop in the forest. She knows that Titans can create armor. Build a wall of armor, and more. She plans to make people job easy more, a lot. Not forget that she good at it. We don't really see her part so much because she not that much of a main character (like eren mikasa and armin). But don't forget that you are just an normal person. Not all 9 Titans have special powers. What can we do? To make the whole world love us? It so impossible. No one can do it. to fight with everyone? Is it really that good? So it was very difficult for her as a commander position. It more difficult than in ss 1 where we knew the target was a titan. (In that time ) But now is different this much more difficult. What can we do in the situation? this so hard for to find the exit for this. Think about real life, it hard. AOT ss 4 is answer that they or ... are chooses what...👀👀.
