I love how much silly personality you guys gave the dupes in this one. I saw Rowan like look at his watch when Mae came back in the ship like "Huh, that was quick." Then when the ships started coming from all those portals, Travaldo just up and left. The visual gags are also just really funny, I like when the shattered moon turns into an apple. Top notch stuff, Klei. We don't deserve you.
And that is why, ladies and gentlemen, Klei is so much better than every single big games corporation. There is actual quality in their work, something that cannot be said about most big companies nowadays.

The scene at 1:20 would be an amazing start for a new map/game mode/whatever. You have small established base with things set on fire, broken equipment, or some crash landing. And your first goal is to get the base under control and then it continues as normal.
Yes. You could also potentially have more complex things, such as broken nuclear reactors with high radiation and temperatures. Someone should make that into a mod
i love this explanation for the new comets spaced out introduced, its an interesting way to use the planet from the base game. i've been playing the base game so i can learn oxygen not included, but when i'm comfortable with it i'm trying out the release version of spaced out immediately. can't wait for even more ONI animation.
For new buyers, this DLC is a completely new game! I HIGHLY recommend it! I've been playing for months and it's really full of new and exciting things to do! :D

@@lizardgirl413 expansion pack, as the name explains extend the content of the game while this DLC not only deliver more content, it also features a different end game, different mechanics in general, etc. The didn't just add more game, they built a different one and if you take some amazing expansion packs like SC Brood War or RCT Thrill Rides, they don't usually revamp or change the core game mechanics, only extend them. Tale care :)!

I remember the first time I bought ONI in closed-beta. Over thousands of hours put down in making the dupes survive more than a couple of cycles and then figuring out different build tactics. With Spaced-Out, ONI is more than just a simulator, it's what we all wanted from games like Sims, Sim City etc. Klei, thank you for all the time and effort you put in to polish this diamond!
Bought the game and dlc recently on steam sale. I kinda knew what I was getting into, but I didn't realise how deep the game and all the mechanics actually were until I played it. Biggest suprise for me this year and I can't stop playing it :)

I really wish there is some sort of animated series of Oxygen Not Included. This is top notch! I'm also quite interested in the lore and backstories of the dupes themselves too, based on their in-game descriptions and their Gravitas counterparts (e.g. Michael E.E. Perlmutter being some sort of hardware designer or specialist if I remember).
I've had the game for months and to this day I still have not built a space shuttle. Yet somehow the announcement of the official launch of Spaced Out nearly brought me to tears. Love you guys! Keep up the awesome work!
Yesssss let's GOOOOOOOO! LOVE these animations absolutely adorable! There's two things this short is telling as far as I can tell. Either earth shattered into the new asteroids or the temporal tear caused alternative versions of the original asteroid to appear like Gossman's spaceship. I'm not certain which it is. Also I love Mi-Ma's face when they pop out of the hole
