Hasbro misplaced scrapmetal as he is supposed to be a shoulder and bucket head (the made up guy) makes the hand. If you do look at devastator CGI the left arm is bulkier than the right which I just scrapper.

You also can see if you do look closer payload next to skipjack and scrapmetal next Hightower and later on you can see a little bit of yellow on scavengers buck during combination which makes sense since he is the shoulder. And to further back payloads exitance if you look at the left leg CGI model then you can see that it is bulkier than longhauls leg.

Scrapmetal was killed by Mixmaster and Long Haul for Megatron parts, he transforms into a Volvo excavator. The same excavator can be seen behind Hightower when Scrapper raises his scoop right before Devastator transforms and combines, but this is likely a continuity error, as Scrapper also teleports from the right of Mixmaster to the left of Mixmaster between shots. This different constructicon is a bulldozer with a scoop who formed Devastator's left hand in the movie. For some reason, HasTak went with Scrapmetal instead of this bulldozer lad for Devastator's left hand in Studio Series. I wonder if any third party company will tackle this unnamed Constructicon at the Studio Series scale, for a smaller left arm to be more proportionate with Scrapper.

For the most part they all scale except Mixmaster who’s at least 3-4 times larger than he should be. They could’ve gotten around this by adding Devastator’s face in Scavenger. But I do agree that Hightower should be larger, at the very least they could’ve made the boom longer. That’s something I appreciate Mechanical Alliance did with their take.
With Studio Series/ Mechanical Alliance the only ones who who really scale well are Rampage, Scrapper, Mixmaster and Scrapmetal. At least Mechanical Alliance’s. Those oversize figures did justice with Scavenger, Long Haul and Hightower who scale perfectly with the other parts in regular Studio Series form.

The yellow tower crane and white cab on Hightower is movie accurate, unlike the Studio Series where they took the lazy route and made it all jet black. Yeah maybe the black is more accurate to the concept art but if you want movie accuracy then a yellow crane and white cab is 100% movie accurate.

Why did they have to give hightower those little hands instead of something like claws like the official SS? It would have been much more bayverse-like. The guns were a nice idea but they still could have been attached without the goofy hands

Okay the only thing that they've never ever get right and I'm pretty sure you can just customize it yourself it's getting the crane length that's the only thing that kills the accurate version of a high tower is the link of the crane it's longer than it should be and you should be able to shorten it when it's in combine mode
Don't know how to tell you cheif, but that's Buckethead who's the Bulldozer becoming the hand. Scrapmetal is the Excavator that forms the left arm with Hightower while Buckethead is the hand. Confusing, I know. Trying to help you out man so you know next time. And don't get me started with Payload who forms the left leg while Skipjack is the foot with him, not the whole left leg. Again, confusing but facts.
Technically, that is not Scrapmetal: For some reason, Hasbro decided to use Scrapmetal for the hand of Studio Series Devastator, but in the movie Scrapmetal is not part of Devastator: Scrapmetal is killed when the constructions go with Ravage and Scalpel to rescue the body of Megatron under the water, then Scalpel orders Mixmaster and Long Haul to kill Scrapmetal for parts for Megatron. The hand of Devastator is formed by such bulldozer which could be Buckethead, perhaps. Great video, by the way. I always enjoy watching your reviews.

I would honestly think that Bomber would've been more like a Buckethead Constructicon design. I'm pretty sure the official Scrapmetal design is actually more humanoid than Buckethead. So the SS Scrapmetal is more accurate to that model than DS-08 Bomber. But, I don't think there was an actual official concept for Buckethead, so I guess I can give DS a pass on Buckethead.
That's Buckethead not scrap metal. Buckethead was Devastators left hand in the movie while scrap metal would have been his hand but he was destroyed to rebuild Megatron. Also Buckethead forming the left-hand actually had that vehicle mode and the movie turning into a small bucket Dozer so this is actually more movie accurate then the studio series

My only big main gripe that I still have with these devil saviors is the vehicle modes do not scale with each other at all

Okay the only thing that they've never ever get right and I'm pretty sure you can just customize it yourself it's getting the crane length that's the only thing that kills the accurate version of a high tower is the link of the crane it's longer than it should be and you should be able to shorten it when it's in combine mode

Don't know how to tell you cheif, but that's Buckethead who's the Bulldozer becoming the hand.
Scrapmetal is the Excavator that forms the left arm with Hightower while Buckethead is the hand.
Confusing, I know. Trying to help you out man so you know next time. And don't get me started with Payload who forms the left leg while Skipjack is the foot with him, not the whole left leg. Again, confusing but facts.
I think that they used the concept for Bucket head wich is a scrapped design

The bulldozer is buckethead not Scrapmetal
Technically, that is not Scrapmetal: For some reason, Hasbro decided to use Scrapmetal for the hand of Studio Series Devastator, but in the movie Scrapmetal is not part of Devastator: Scrapmetal is killed when the constructions go with Ravage and Scalpel to rescue the body of Megatron under the water, then Scalpel orders Mixmaster and Long Haul to kill Scrapmetal for parts for Megatron. The hand of Devastator is formed by such bulldozer which could be Buckethead, perhaps. Great video, by the way. I always enjoy watching your reviews.

I would honestly think that Bomber would've been more like a Buckethead Constructicon design. I'm pretty sure the official Scrapmetal design is actually more humanoid than Buckethead. So the SS Scrapmetal is more accurate to that model than DS-08 Bomber. But, I don't think there was an actual official concept for Buckethead, so I guess I can give DS a pass on Buckethead.
That's Buckethead not scrap metal. Buckethead was Devastators left hand in the movie while scrap metal would have been his hand but he was destroyed to rebuild Megatron. Also Buckethead forming the left-hand actually had that vehicle mode and the movie turning into a small bucket Dozer so this is actually more movie accurate then the studio series
i never saw a Construction Excavator with a v8 on it i didn't think u could put a v8 on a Construction Ex cavator cause of to risky for the driver devil saviour wants to go like real life that is not real no Construction Excavator is allow to have a v8 due to it going to fast aslo if i every get them i am taking apart to take off the v8 i never saw a Construction Excavator with one
@@transformersmaster8694 what? All I was saying is the devil saviour version uses decepticon "buckethead" which is the one seen in the movie as the hand of devastator. Scrapmetal was never a part of Devastator in the movie because he was killed for parts to repair megatron. No clue what you're talking about though.

Hasbro's Scrapmetal is 100% more accurate than Devil Saviour which resembles a ROTF concept art called 'Buckethead' because Hasbro's Scrapmetal resembles "Ze Little One" who is used as the parts for Megatron and the Devil Saviour ones robot mode doesn't appear in the film only as the 'Buckethead' concept art.
