It's so funny how the human mind reads geek as greek like EVERY TIME someone reads my username. :) Anyway, I'd like to recommend you react to 4 Ghost songs that will take you on a journey through their various genres. 1. Con Clavi Con Dio from their first album. 2. Ghuhel/Zombie Queen from their second album. 3. He Is from their 3rd album. and 4. Dance Macabre from their 4th. What he said was that his Papa used to sing this song. This is a reference to Papa Nihil, the predecessor of all the Papa Emeritus I through IV, who according to the Ghost lore first recorded this song in 1969 ☺️
He also happens to be the (supposed) father of Cardinal Copia, which is the character Tobias is playing in this performance. It’s all like a soap opera! 😄

Hey Dashy and Dad , my sister and I were at this Tampa performance and during this song in particular there were extra camera personnel who went about getting footage of the audience and the band to help create this video. Also Dashy , you were right to latch on to Tobias' costumes. They were fabulous. During this concert alone he wore at least 6 costumes. I also love that Ghost has fans of all ages. My sister and I are in our 50s and 60s and there were folks older than us enjoying the concert with their grandchildren. Nice to see multiple generations ROCK OUT. I 100% agree with Dad that people shouldn't be filming the shows. As a musician's wife, I have learned to keep my phone in my bag or out in the car 💜

I dont agree because that is lame to say you are blocking someone sight.. well you block the view if you are tall.. and these bands get more views if fans post clips online even small ones.. thats why they dont ban filming at concerts anymore like few years ago..

the "Nameless Ghoul" masks have evolved over the past few years; I think when they started out they were just kind of a black triangle thing, later on it was an actual full head Ghoul mask; I'm guessing for reasons you mentioned (heat) they later came out with a different version of the silver Ghoul mask but with the mouth piece cut out; This was also at the time they added a few Ghoulettes. if you look closely they're all wearing a black morphsuit under the masks to hide their faces; sometimes bringing them up for backup vocals and stuff, and these gas mask helmets also have the mouth piece cut out, so they shouldn't be fogging up; not entirely sure why they switched to gas masks, though.

Once again another really good reaction. I love Ghost and have since the GhostBC days I have to admit my appreciate began with an online review, an album cover and a few group promo photos. I figured they’d be a doom, black or death metal type band and right up my alley and was surprised to find out they weren’t. Took me a few listens to real,y get it but once I did, I absolutely got it. I don’t care what genre anyone thinks they are, how popish they sound or any of that nonsense. I just the love the music. At times gritty and dark, then bright and almost sunny, haunting to enlightening. Nothing short of well crafted songs that explore multiple genres with a frontman not afraid to take the music in a different direction on each album. They are amazing and I think most people will be fans if they go in with an open mind and without preconceived notions.
The first ritual I attended was maybe half filled, the next few had more fans and then boom the next ritual was heavily protested by some area church groups which I found hysterical. Today where they are one of the bigger rock /metal/pop or whatever bands going filling out big arenas attended by the very young and very old alike. So happy to see how far they have come . . . Until freaking TikTok got a hold of it and now my Barry Manilow loving mom is singing along to Mary on a Cross . . . Sigh. . . Can’t win them all I guess lol

One thing the dad said that I truly believe in and that should not be allowed at concerts, is the damned phones and ipads filming by the audience. They should experience the show as it was intended and put the damned phones DOWN! I went to many a concert back in the 80's, and NEVER were there anything like these. We all watched the show, experienced the bands, and ENJOYED it, and made memories in our MINDS, not on celluloid! The concert was an experience, not a place to film a band!
Otherwise, I LOVE Ghost, and this show was fantastic! If you have Ghost, you have everything!

He likes to use word play. You say "wah not "ah" you get MARYWANA/MARIJUANA". In Dance Macabre he sings the line " I want to Bewitch you" . If you pronounce it like a "New Yorker", instead of "be with you," they pronounce it "Be wit choo" they don't pronounce the last letter of "with" and they drop the "y" of "you" and add a "ch" sound onto it.
