Ghost, also formerly known as Ghost B.C. in the United States, is a Swedish rock band that was formed in Linköping in 2006. In 2010, they released a three-track demo followed by a 7-inch vinyl titled "Elizabeth", and later their debut full-length album Opus Eponymous.

I recommend the video for Spillways from this album & the live video from Tampa in September of 2022 for Mary On A Cross (it's their latest video). But I would also recommend the recently reuploaded video for "Faith" which uses footage from the previous tour (before the pandemic hit) A Pale Tour Named Death. All 3 will give you a great feel for their look, live performance, and different genres they like to play with.

@@DashyXDAndDadReacts OH, when you use hashtags, I recommend #GhostBC because the algorithm gets super confused by just ghost since there are like 9 million reactions to things with ghost in the name & so often a video won't get added to the search term. I've found a bunch of Ghost reaction videos that I had to find via a specific song title but never showed up in the "ghost reaction" search.

Mephistopheles is not the devil. He is a demon featured in German folklore. He originally appeared in literature as the demon in the Faust legend. In the legend, Faust makes a deal with the devill at the price of his soul, Mephistopheles acting as the Devil's agent collecting lost souls on earth. I love the new Ghost album! I missed their recent tour where they were in the UK, since I'd had a baby. Our whole family are rock/metal heads and love Ghost, they're such a unique band. My partner saw them at Wembley in 2019 and the 02 academy in Kentish Town a few years back when they weren't really heard of in the UK. Very jealous! Absolutely loving your vids, I'm binge watching them while my boy is napping haha 😄

Close, but the quote comes from Aleister Crowley. A Devil worshipper who faced trial. He told the judge to call him little sunshine. He explained that the beast 666 was in-fact sunshine. Mainly due to the devils role to control the fires of purgatory.

The devil's an interesting character, from a literary perspective. He's not really in any of what you'd call Christianity's source materials. Sort of an afterthought, really. I think that's why he's got so many names associated with him, they'd just take a name of something with horns or suspect motives from someone else's mythology and staple it on to their own concept of evil.
These days, Satan's mostly just a symbol of defiance for the people who think he had a point in questioning any creature claiming absolute authority, and a generic thing to be scared of for certain others.
Totally check out other Ghost songs, though. I'm particularly fond of Spillways and From the Pinnacle To The Pit, but they've got loads of good songs.

I recommend a band that will give your channel a great kick-start, because this is the most reacted video on youtube and you will soon realize why. I'm talking about "Nightwish" and the song would be "Ghost Love Score - Official live video at Wacken 2013". Another band I want you react to is TOOL, in my opinion the best rock band around these days. Start with "Sober" or "The Pot" stay with audio versions and pull up some lyrics for TOOL. Deep shit... This song is in reference to Satan. 2 Corinthians 11:14 "For Satan himself transforms himself into an angel of light.”. I'm not a bible thumper, I just thought it's interesting.
