Hi Rob that was a very interesting take on feeder links. I like to make up running feeder rigs with a swivel type bead and attach the link to the clip. This is so i can change the length of link, or just run a feeder on the bead or change to a weight adjustable link ledger, but i love those tidy links and will try them out for myself. incidentally i use a couple of grippa stops which kick the twizzled loop out nicely. Please keep the video's coming as I love learning new things like this! Take care of yourself and family in this difficult time. Regards Bill
Brilliant video as always . I am just making some more feeder links up now .thats the last of the jobs to do. Like all of us i can't wait to get back out on the bank . Stay safe every body. 👍👍
Try my best mate - just in case though - I use a three turn water knot, so have to pull the whole shocker through three times which is a pain but it leaves a lovely little knot
Great video Rob , cant it be used to braid direct? Just Think the line that is used in feeder link can be cut by the sharp braid by rubbing together.....🤔
Bostin video mucca really enjoying the tips your giving much appreciated. How long do u make the twizzled boom level with the bottom of the feeder or just short ta muc
Made some last year with a bit of a disaster when one snapped on the cast and went like a skud missile across the lake and landed on the side tray of the guy opposite me like it had fell from space S0 I will be doin them like you. Thanks rob 😧
Morning Rob. I have a question,if you don't mind. What's a good catapult.for waggler maggot and caster.there are so many.on the market. Do you make up your own.or use from your sponsors.thanks.

There is something about making little bits of kit for yourself then catching fish using it that’s just more satisfying
Brilliant video as always .

Great tip to make the twizzled boom Rob
Brilliant rob
Nice one , we have a problem with nets and lines at moment and illegal fishing , after carp to eat , here in wakefield
Rob brilliant information on feeder rigs. But. could you use a dark colored tea shirt to show the rig up better. tight lines fella,
Cheers David, i know what you mean I’ll get shopping 👍
Great video, thanks
Rob, thanks for the video. Nice and easy to follow, would you ever use power gum instead of the thick line.
thanks, Richard.
BGR!
Another great inspiring video buddy, I'm chomping at the bit, to get out there, bless you and big love to you and yours
Cheers BGR - hope you’re well 👍👍🎣
Oh I meant to ask, can you show us how you attach leaders onto your mainline please BGR

@@RobWootton I thought water knot, but the pulling through put me off lol
cracking vid mate will give it a go
Cheers Carl 👍

It works fine with braid direct - I have used it loads with no probs 👍
@@RobWootton thanks

Cheers Craney , about four inches is about right. It needs to have some stiffness in it to kick the hooklength away 👍
Hi Rob
Can I ask what diameter shrink tube you use?
Great video mate
Thanks Clive 🎣
Nice one Roob
✅
Hi Rob, good tutorial vid, but one question though, could I ask what size shrink tube you're using, please? Thanks mate.
either the smallest Korda stuff or the smallest kodex - I’m not sure on diameter (maybe 1.5mm?)
Made some last year with a bit of a disaster when one snapped on the cast and went like a skud missile across the lake and landed on the side tray of the guy opposite me like it had fell from space S0 I will be doin them like you. Thanks rob 😧
🚀 we’ve all had the odd malfunction
Nice simple, effective links. Do you sell them Rob ?
No Dave ,,, you can buy similar from Dean Barlow.... find him on Facebook and tell him I sent you 😉
Problem with staying in that the kids want to cut your hair? Whats going on there Rob, Ha!! Thanks for the video, I'm in the shed this afternoon.
Cheers Richard, Never let the kids loose with the clippers
Morning Rob. I have a question,if you don't mind. What's a good catapult.for waggler maggot and caster.there are so many.on the market. Do you make up your own.or use from your sponsors.thanks.
I use an drennan catapult - the ones with revolving pins and bright green elastic - i shorten the elastic and change the pouch to a nylon one.
Rob Wootton Fishing thanks for that. 👌
hi great vid, would you use a feeder link if your casting say 60 or so meters for bream, thanks
Cheers, Not for proper bream no- Feeder links do have the tendency to tangle on long chucks and for bigger fish I’m not sure they’re necessary
@@RobWootton great thanks rob, keep up the good work
Hi Rob, is the 1 inch (2,5cm) the total lenght of the link? Or without the swivel?
Thanks for the great video's 👌👍
1in is the length of shrink tubed bit without the swivel - cheers 👍
It looks like little bit longer in this video? Or? Is it 1 inch?
will try that
Is there any situations where you'd use a feeder link on a river?
Been using the twizzled boom for a while now it transformed my feeder fishing
Very rarely as I like to fish for drop backs on a river - maybe when casting a long way downstream it could be useful.
Thanks for that I normally fish for drop backs. Just thought I would ask in case I was missing something.
Keep up the good work mate thanks 😁
How do I make a rig using one of these?
Why not use silicone tubing
Hello Rob. You used this only in the still water or in flow water?
Usually only in Stillwater Andrea👍
I disliked your video by mistake rob , sorry ! It’s a good video 👍
Ha ha ha - cheers David🎣👍
Korda crimps bud not guru 👍🏼
sous-titre français ? ??👎
