hi mate ive started using power gum with my very light braid direct rig for skimmers and roach but would it be suitable for using with mono on rivers when catching bigger 5lb plus bream ??? .... i was losing a lot of bigger fish at the net last year ...... thanks
Hi buddy , if you’re using mono , and fishing for bream ,,there’s probably no need to fish with power gum .. mono stretches quite a lot . As long as you’re rods are not too stiff , then fishing with just mono would be fine .. that’s not to say it wouldn’t work though . Personally , I would feel, there was no need for power gum fishing for bream . Hope that helps buddy 👍
