After watching this I am still baffled and surprised by how underrated Beckham is as a footballer. He’s looked at more as a celebrity rather than as a legit great player. He was the soul of this Manchester United team. And the way he orchestrated their offense was such an art form.
lol what? in the 90s every kid wore the beckham collar bought his predators and had the hairstyles like him... it wasnt because he was a celebrity... because all the kids who liked him liked him because football.. he had swag as it was called then... he was the ronaldo before ronaldo. Anyway people knew beckham was quality back in the 90s it was only after a lackluster time at madrid did he pick up the overall quality of career. He was surrounded by the best in world, Zidane, perez, ronaldo (the first the best) reberto carlos figo the lot... so he was outshined and outplayed over in spain they didnt play his style of football... they kept the ball on ground in spain in 90s early 00's so beckham wasn't about that game and he failed which he faded off into distance then and forgot about. He should have stayed in premiership instead of going to madrid and milan to model.

When you look at the first few months results it's insane United went on to win the title. Arsenal were way ahead but United didn't give up and RVN was just unreal especially after Christmas.
