Maybe the reason is they're tryna make both A and S series as identical as possible (with the design, software [one UI for A series and S is different but looks identical]) so people would consider buying the A series for it's look as well.

I daily carry my Note 8 still. No complaints.
I had one of them before, but it now has this red highlight covering 3 fourths of the screen. And in a pink highlight, covering the last fourth. So now I have a new phone.

The s8 and s9 are still solid. Ive got the s10+ and it still runs flawlessly. Only issues i ever have are app related.

I still have an S8 lying around as a secondary phone, it's insane to me that if the battery life was just a little better I'd never switch from it
My s8 is far beyond its battery cycle, I have a S23U now, the 3 yr old handed down S8 that I owned for another 3 has seen better days (and now I have to discard the S8, (so a'long))
I'm still using my S7, the battery life is not great but it's usable enough for me, I just use my laptop for most things.
I use my s8 every day to play podcasts and YT videos. No sim card in it, just connected on wifi

I say the first great androis phone was the s3 and s4, I have great memories of playing minecraft and gta sa in middle school with my rooted s4.
@@stargamer7576 Don't think so, Samsung was using TouchWiz and that UI was awful. The freeze famous of Android comes from that Touch Wiz. With the Galaxy S8 Samsung introduced the One UI and it was a game changer.

I have a base model S10, and it runs perfectly after like 5 years. Only issues i have are screen burn-ins and compatibility with some apps, still holds up pretty well even tho its a bit outdated. Plus it has a headphone jack.

Both are still solid phones for the modern age
This is also related to userdata/storage speed than just CPU itself.
The more storage there is, the bigger the userdata partition is. CPU needs to initiate the partition on the splash screen(the non-animated boot logo part) before booting up, which will be faster if the storage is faster. This kinda doesn't matter on Android versions, again its more dependant on the specs

Ahora, el bootloader en muchos equipos no se puede abrir y para meter Roma y kernel personalizados, se hace necesario abrir el bootloader, además de rootear, la mayoría de dispositivos requieren el bootloader desbloqueado para poner root.

I wish there was a phone that had the form factor of the S8 but the specifications of the S24. The closest I can think of is the ROG Phone 7, Sony Xperia 1 V, and REDMAGIC 8 Pro.

You are right about that, although the galaxy s22 won in power-on, but it will continue to load processes due to the amount of things it has. The s8 no longer receives any updates and has more basic things to load.

I have a s6 edge, s8+ and a s10+ laying around as back ups. S6 then the s8 are the 2 most beautiful looking phones Samsung made. I need to dig my s8+ out and start using it again. I have a s21 ultra currently. But i loved my s8+ and s6.

I switched from s8+ to s22+ about a year and a half ago. I had the s8 in light mode and the screen burn in was horrible. Set the s22 to dark mode immediately when I got it and so far, there's zero sign of burn in. I keep my brightness at approximately 50%. I also run a routine that when my phone is charging, the colors screen saver comes on which is supposed to help prevent burn in. Other than that, I'd probably still be using the s8.
The fact is no one can compete samsung (android) : thus comparing android with android 😎😁
