    To an untrained eye, that looks stock. Pairs very well with a readiness tune. Amazing work as always, Appreciate the valuable information on these tricky temporary repairs.

      Exactly you need to know what your looking at, too bad there wasn’t more BRM’s to steal parts from.

    Best way to go this is what I did super affordable and easy to execute. Fun fact b5.5 tdi exhaust pipe is the same size that’s what I use only used the BRM Catalyst.

      Used the b5.5 to get rid of the other cat/flap?

    Hi Josh - I caught your latest video and wanted to get your input on TDI tuning options here in the States. I'm currently deciding between two setups:
    1. Darkside 3" kit with Tunezilla tunes and Flashzilla Pro
    2. Full EOC kit with DSG tuning + Powergate 4 (Powergate 3 is currently out of stock)
    The Tunezilla option is appealing since it could potentially be used on other TDIs down the line when I connect with more diesel enthusiasts in my area (still working on that part! 😄) Or if I decide to purchase another TDI in the future.
    In your comparison video, it seemed the MR tunes consistently outperformed Tunezilla in launch scenarios. Would you say that's an accurate assessment? I really enjoy the initial torque from my TDI, and maximizing that is a priority - but if the performance difference is minimal, I'll likely go with the Tunezilla setup.
    Thanks for your insights!

    Will this be ok if someone lives in an area where they check emissions?

      It’ll look closer to oem then a 2.5” straight pipe, but in saying that it they know what they’re looking for it’s somewhat obvious

    So if my 2011 tdi dpf is cracked i can use this brm downpipe. I would need a tune and egr blocking plates too right?

    • @JoshsJettas
      @JoshsJettas  3 дні тому +1

      Yes, will require an “off road” tune and cooler blocker as well

    Have you rebuilt a turbo? Just sourced a cartridge and replaced it?

      @@JoshsJettas I have a cjaa that I’m looking to do some preemptive maintance on it while I do the flywheel. Would you consider just doing a cartridge or just replace the whole turbo?

      if you have experience with diesel turbos and VCDS just be very careful and make sure you check vacuum levels wherever its necessary. new turbo is def the easiest but rebuilding is cheaper if you know what ur doin
