Nowadays the best option is to start doing even more Shorts. People don't have attention span for anything longer, so I am recently trying to create expressive content (and after I post it, I use a lot of famester to make my shorts go viral and they get spread out literally everywhere).
The videos I take time on don’t get views but the ones thrown together get the views 😅

Correct. Nowadays, whenever I need answers, I go to UA-cam for videos rather than wade through Google search results. I didn't realise that UA-cam has taken over a large percentage from Google search.

As someone who usually uploads 3 shorts per day, I will definitely try out tip #1 next time I get a 1/10 to get some rest.
Though if the short blows up to 5-10k after I upload another short, would not uploading more have the same effect?
Another question I have is, a lot of my videos are 5-6 seconds, should I try to increase it to 8?

I'm getting very frustrated with UA-cam lately. Several months back, I feel like UA-cam was pushing my content and now it's just not. I posted a new short yesterday that I thought was going to do well and it only has 37 views and 3 likes! smh. And the other day, I FINALLY had reached 1k subscribers only for YT to remove 7 of them within 2 hours of reaching that goal.....now I'm 5 away and it's a a real struggle. Of course I don't have nearly the watch-time that I should....and can't monetize. :(
