I have been searching everywhere to see what this looks like on the ZV-E1 Thank you for including that. I appreciate it!!
Thanks. Glad it helped.
What do you do your audio to make it sound so bad? It must be some type of processing you do because you sound like Optimus Prime inside a metal box. It’s very odd.
Yes there was something wrong here in r processing. It’s fixed going forward
@@btonelli Nice! Your setup looks great. I really enjoyed the video and found it helpful.
@@mccgre51 thanks. Audio going forward won’t be this off. My apologies on this
@@POW.CREEPER lol! Autobots Transform and roll out!
Love your neutrality and voice. Good review. Thank you
Thank you 🙏 much appreciated
this lens would be perfect on a gimbal. Can't wait for it to be in stores in SG
Agree. Perfect gimbal lens
Bobby, thanks for the critical assessment of this lens. Thinking of getting this to mount on a Fuji X-S20 for travel, but don't think I am going to let go of my wide primes i.e. 12mm Zeiss Touit based on your review. Cheers,
Thanks for watching. Yes I think a prime will perform better overall than this but you get flexibility and range with this lens.
Making these APS-C lenses for L mount when all Leica bodies are discontinued makes me think they’re going to settle and do APS-C for the new Foveon body. Really hope that’s not the case.
I don’t think so. It’s because e mount X mount and L Mount can all be swapped out after if needed do they make a line for the L Mount system.
I’ve seen a review where they thought this performed better than the Fuji 10-24 R WR, would you agree?
I didn’t test them side by side to give an opinion. Apologies
Other than light-gathering capability, do you see an advantage of carrying a zoom instead of an wide prime like the 17mm f4 DG DN?
Not really. The 17 is a better performer
ah, do you know if the video at other focal lengths in Full frame mode are okay like the old sony 10-18mm? There was another youtube video that verified 12mm showing just minor vignette in full frame photo mode. Other lengths had too much vignette. Was hoping its the same for video where clear image zoom or something can handle the vignette at certain focal lengths
Yes once you go to about 13 to 14mm no vignetting
@@btonelli thank you!
Is it good enough to resolve the 40mp on an X-T5 , for example? Their 18-50 is optically excellent, but this one may make a little less sense.
Yes it can but don’t expect edge to edge sharpness
No way it is softer in the edges than xf10-24 which is so prized among fuji shooters and almost twice more expensive than this sigma.
Didn’t have them both to compare but it’s soft.
😢In fact, the edge distortion is the main issue of this lens , depictedly on the 10mm focal length getting worse 😅😢
Yes it doesn’t perform well in the edges
I just got this for the Panasonic S1 and I was not impressed. It is not any better than my 20mm lens. It is actually much worse but the 20-60mm lens I have is great. It defiantly lacks in a lot of details for a full frame lens. I returned it. I am not a vlogger. It is not worth $600 to me.
Yes the lens won’t be for everyone and the quality is okay only
What camera is that?
Sigma FPL
I’m waiting for the photo of optimus… 🤡
