Just did my first ever few cutties this morning, instructions are spot on and it was really surprising to see how much it acutally takes to break that traction into a cuttie. Solid! Thanks mate
Agree this is one of the best on the technique of cutties. Amazing lack of good instruction on cutties out there, but this and the GMBN one w Bryn Atkinson are the only good explanations. Well done man!
thanks so much for this video. i tried and studied cutty for long time. and search for tutorials on youtube. but couldn't understand the 'feeling'. and oneday found your clip and finally!!! got the hang of it. and after that i also understood other people's comment about cutty!!!
I finally had my first cuttie following this guide really surprised me how it felt, kinda felt like the rear tyre became really unweighted before digging in and sliding, Im addicted to it now lol
Hey mate, nice vids. This is a bit off topic, I’ve got the same bike as you about 10-15 rides old and got a couple of creaks from new that haven’t gone away like I hoped, sounds like bottom bracket/stem but I’m not 100% sure? You had any dramas? Cheers.
Baldheadedchimp yep, i just had my bike in for its first service and it turned out the creak i had was coming from the ABP bearings right at the back of the bike. They did what had to be done and now its smooth and silent as ever. Definitely take it to your shop, usually the first service is free with a new bike. Make sure all your pivot bolts are tight as well
