The the upturned brim has become popular right now. It is a different look but I don't care for it but if you are looking for current coolness, the upturn is the way to go right now.
I have the Stetson Stratoliners and they are great hats. I have been looking at the Whippet as well. Not a big fan of hat pins or feathers on hats so I usually remove them. Does that round hat pin come off? Great video!
How does it hold up in the rain? Besides my fur felt hats I have a Stetson wool Temple and it's a good looking hat but it's my second one in wool and the first one got ruined in a heavy down pour. Have you worn it in light rain? Thanks.
Your hair is too long! A fedora only looks good if you wear it the way Johnny Depp did in "Public Enemy" Ironically in real life Johnny is the poster boy for how NOT to wear a fedora!
That's a VERY cool hat. I love the post war look men and women had in the 20s. People dressed with pride . Keep these cool videos coming brother .
Awesome hat I'm going to have to get one. Love your videos they help me out a lot thanks.

Not a bad deal at all man, that thing looks sharp as a blade - great video
Damn, this is a good video. Thank you for making those distinctions between wool felt and fur felt.
I have two Whippets, I sprung for the fur-felt. They are beautiful hats.
Which colours if you don't mind me asking?
@@pewdieyay5579 black and caribou.
@@pewdieyay5579 I have the fur felt whippet as well: Tawny color looks best, imo
Thanks for the info. I have been looking at Stetson hats, and this was very useful.
Presently, the Stetson wool felt whippet retails for $110; while the fur felt whippet retails for $250. -You get what you pay for. . . .
You could pay a whole lot more up to $400 bucks for a top of the line stetson.
@@markescartin6613 Yeah, too, my Borsalino full beaver felt cost $600 and now lists for near $800. Have several Stetson's also. :)

Hey its Al Capone over here
Might buy this hat, I'm looking for a black version of that hat
FYI, the fur felt version is a much better hat. Holds its shape, etc.
I would like to know which color that Whippet is in the video
Great review. Thanks.
Great review
Which colour is it? You do a review, but you don’t mention the colour, or others available?
looks like a tawny. You get black and grey as well, personally I'd go with the tawny
@@pewdieyay5579 Thanks bud. I bought one in tawny and I’m made up with it. 👍
Anyone know where this can bought ? Can ‘t fnd it anywhere on line.
On the Stetson website
Any chance of an Akubra review?
I would love to but don't have access to one.
Nice bro...!
Looks like a trilby or is that a fedora?
