@@gwynmorris5763 Yeah, I meant Season 5 as a whole was pretty lousy because of Lucy's pregnancy behind the scenes and them having to make so many terrible fillers because of it. The last 5 episodes was when I feel the show got back on track.
Gwyn Morris How exactly did season 4 lose its way? It had a consistent storyline (unlike season 3), introduced amazing antagonists, matured Gabrielle, and had the best fight scenes in the entire series.
I don't think this is how it happened. It happened because after Mark Antony ( Her Lover ) was killed, and Cleopatra found out that Octavian was out to get her, she decided to lock herself in her room with two of her maids and allow the snake to bite her. Sorry if i didn't get the memo. I have never seen this show before, so im not sure what it is about. But this is how historians think it happened.
@Wet Mustard I thought it was common knowledge. At least, that's what I learned in school. Considering how the concept of human rights didn't exist back then, at least not to my knowledge, I wouldn't be surprised.
@Wet Mustard Cleopatra made an appearance in an earlier episode and was played by Gina Torres (Zoe in Firefly), who is black. But Gina Torres also made other appearances on Hercules and Xena playing other characters as well (along with some other people who played multiple characters), so wouldn't take stock in the particular actor.
I never liked this episode, its nice they kept the relationship between Xena and Cleopatra but Cleopatra is meant to be black or at least darker skinned (hence why she was played by Gina Torres) the idea Xena could impersonate Cleopatra is rather silly.
I always loved this scene. When I was younger and took my baths, I used to imagine I was bathing in a tub of milk and roses...minus the deadly snake🤣🤣
Me too
Did they really have that much water to waste that was a lot of water for a bath even for Cleopatra
Lol I used to pretend the deadly snake was there too lolololol
hey just to add she took her bath in donkeys milk😅
She back to do what she does best to help poeple who need it I like this episode go xena and Gabriella
Same
This scene, and xena and Gabrielle's crucification/Caesar's assassination were absolutely brilliant.
What a luxurious bath
One of my favorite episodes from Season 5. This was when the show got back on track in terms of quality.
Yes, it sort of lost its way with season 4.
@@gwynmorris5763 whAT? season 4 was amazing
Xxz

I’ve always wondered how Xena knew Brutus killed Cleopatra she basically accuses him of it and he does admit it but she just happened to know lol
She suspected him or Antony killed her... She wasn't for sure.
Cleopatra was a young queen when she died.

This show is full of anachronisms and inaccuracies cause they blend many mythological and historical events together and made xena staring in all...
Cleopatra surely changed a lot.
Hands On Xena's Head Singing When You're Big! From The Land Before Time The Time Of The Great Giving
She was lactose intolerant.
Wasn't Cleopatra of Greek descent?
No, she looked like of Middle Eastern descent.
Rising 888 Phoenix 333 but her ancestors were Greek I think
Well, the woke will always claim that she was black.
@@PerceptionVsReality333 Kleopatra was Macedonian not Middle Eastern.
Yeah, she was.
Why did they change Cleopatra actress and does that meaning Xena was born in the 1 st century the same time as Cleopatra and Caesar?
Gina Torres was unavailable to return as Cleopatra because she was working on the Cleopatra 2525 series at the time.
@@rainbowrabbit ironic.
Xena was very anachronistic. They showed her as part of the Trojan war, the Persian war, and the time of Boudica as well as Cleopatra and Caesar.
@@rainbowrabbit ah so she was technically still Cleopatra lol.
And Boudica and she made stone henge in the same episode
Even though I knew the Adder was coming it still doesn't make it any less sad.
What a waste of milk 🤣🤣🤣
all those camel milk took days to milk.
The Ides Of March Please 🙏🏻
In reality , she killed herself with the snake ...
Maybe

Exactly history is written by the victors.
Anyway, bathing is my favorite hobby
Lactose intolerance can be severe
So isn’t Gina Torres Cleopatra? I am confused
Where did the snake pop up from?
❤❤
Is this the only episode that Cleopatra is in?
Eve Yoser thanks for the info
Wow
Letter bomb?
Cleopatra went from being black to white
@Wet Mustard
Yup and she wasn't pretty at all because the Ptolomies were infamous at inbreeding within the same family members.
@Wet Mustard it's because deformed babies were killed right away
