TKX is very useful because i don't have to worry about spending backups onto my Type 10 and even if you run out of both vehicles, you still have Type 90s or even the Type 16 and while the Type 90 is significantly weaker in term of armor and fire power but since you respawn late in the game so most people usually respawned with weaker vehicles aswell.
I also think the TKX looks slightly cooler than the Type 10 with its middle section on the UFP being flat instead of typical angular shape.
Btw can't forget to mention about one of the best features of the Type 10 is known for in real life, the 70 km/h reverse speed lol !

Yes I agree, I never understood the complaints about cloned vehicles. Sure it cam be annoying grinding the same thing twice but you now have 2 very capable vehicles that you can play together

Good news the TKX got down to 200K research points but you first have to get the Type 10 since they're both folded vehicles now

Can you do a few more Brit ones? I’m new but feel too stubborn to consider any others. Especially the coastal ones, I’ve fallen for the dark adventurer. That gun is a lot of fun when it hits.

Thanks for the support mate! There isn't really a good grinder for the Japanese at the minute. The F-86 sabre is decent, but goes up against Su-25s and A-10s; and the new T-2 early is kind of the same. Probably better with the T-2, I'd suggest saving your money, and seeing if they give the T-2 Early flares at some point, it would be a good grinder then.

I got the a7m1 nk9h it's in my opinion one of the best props in the game with 2x20mm and 2x13mm guns with plenty of ammo, a 17ms climb rate and an insane 15 second turn time you can't go wrong with it at 5.0

Tbh Japan overall is a very good tech tree, and actually has quite a fun top tier lineup (rare in war thunder)
Japan has a really fun TT, I find the Chi Ha LG amazing, soooo much fun, the m24 also very nice. Type 75 SPH is also really nice. The type 87 RCV, Type 89 and type 16 as well as type 90s and 10s are all eggcelent!
@@nor3057 Type 87 has been really fun and I’m grinding up to the Type 89 but the no stabilizer has made me want to hurt someone. At times it’s fine but other times it gets me killed because I shoot first but since my turret is looking in space I lose. I’m hyped to get into top tier. Also is it true the Type 87 and 89 can be used in top tier due to sides of top tier MBTs having low armor?
@@erasedkarma it depends what you define as top tier. If you say top tier is 12.0 then, i would reluctant taking the type 87 due to lack of stab and hesitant on the type 89. At 10.0 range type 89 still works very well, but i wouldnt take type 87 due to lack of stab, however, it might be kinda viable as a flank due to the presence of so many russian ifvs

Japanese tree was painful till STA-1
ww2 tanks were designed to sealclub tankless armies so they were weak but post war tanks designed to fight commies on nightmarish terrain of asian islands. So they were lightly armored in exchange for mobility. its implemented in the game very well, Im a noob that play with 10 fps so I can only get one kill or none in open terrain maps but in maps like Japan, I easily climb on rocks like a goat with my STA then bully enemy tanks that can barely move due to rocks everywhere.

Started playing japan after this thing has caused me grief over the months. That 4 second reload is extremely extremely annoying after it shoots your loader.
Got type10 and tkx recently, and i wonna say to those who grinding for them: stay on type 90🙌🏻.
Also type10 and tkx is identical, but modules cost difference...

Definitely but sweden lacks a good ground pounder in the Air tree. The AJ37 is just not good enough since the AGMs are so trash in killing in one hit. The S250 on the Su25 have nearly the same amount of explosive mass but can kill a tank while missing it completely. And then I get direct hits with one of the 2 AGMs and it’s like I scratched their armor.. it’s frustrating

I despise the Japanese top tier lineup, even the Type10. Just such a lame sausage of a tank.

@@i_nameless_i-jgsdf Nah, I have well above average stats, and my top tier experience with USSR, Germany, Sweden, USA, and China really opened my eyes to how lame and trash the Type10 is.
Are you serious or making a misleading joke ? Terrible optic ? what tank are you talking about because Type 10 is definitely not known for such, 4x - 12x variable zoom with third generation thermal for both gunner's sight and commander's sight, how is that terrible exactly ?
I don't think the tank is the problem because i really like both the Type 10 and TKX even in its current state which doesn't get the CVT, perhabs a skill issue ?

Also no worthwhile CAS and bad SPAA.

Also, I ground the Type90s in the updates when they came out. Game mega has moved on, now they are even worse than they were back then XD

Apparently not good enough to understand how to use the Type 10 effectively. Being good with Leopard 2A6, STRV 122 or T-80BVU doesn't say much about your skill, these are low level of difficulty to play.
Yesterday i just got like 9 kills in the TKX, that is not something you would be able to do in a bad tank at 11.0 but i guess i'm on a different league.
Also you claimed you have the Type 10 but how come you do not understand how to play it correctly if you have grinded through the Type 90 already ?
Type 90 is a very similar vehicle to the Type 10 in play style and it should teach you how to play this type of MBT and what to expect from the Type 10 so anyone who have grinded the Type 90s first should be able to master the Type 10 very easily consider it is a direct upgrade over the Type 90 in everyway, and saying it has bad optics, when it is actually some of the best optics on any top tier tank, it's suspecious.
