I LOVE this parade!! I think it's got to be my favorite in Disney history. I always get this excited feeling when I hear "Ladies and gentlemen, boys and girls: the Magic Kingdom proudly presents nighttime pageant of magic and imagination!"
Just back from WDW with my wife and 17 year old twins. WDW vacations have been our family tradition since I was a kid. I was never happier than the day I walked through the Magic Kingdom turnstiles with my own children. We went this year and as I was leaving I was crying thinking the kids will be off to college next year and we will never enjoy Disney as a family again. Thank you WDW and for all the memories. The last thing we saw was the Main St Electrical parade. I am crying now thinking of the memory.

I know the feeling. As a kid I always wanted to go to Disneyland. I made it there for the 50th anniversary and did burst into tears. Keep dreaming and I hope you get there soon. You'll find ways to go back as you get older.
this is wonderful, thank you. good camera shots covering the parade, crowd, and castle. reminds me of my childhood, saw this parade over 40 years ago as a young teen. it is still a joyful experience.
I have to say, I didn't realize this was parade was gone. Looks like it's just a wonderful memory now. Please keep this video up so I can come and see it whenever I want to go back in time. I enjoyed it as a kid, as did my kids and now the only way my grandkids can see it is on here. Thanks for sharing.
Yeah. It's said to be missing from Disneyland CA because of renovation or something. They took Spectromagic from WDW and replaced it with this. We don't know if this parade will return to Disneyland, but Spectromagic fans hope so.
This was honesty the best thing I have ever witnessed in my life. My parents met whilst working at Disney so the company is a very important part of my life.
The Classic Disney volume 2 CD I had as a kid had the soundtrack for this parade on it and I used to lay in bed listening to it, dreaming about the day I would finally get to see it in person. I'm 20 years old now and I still haven't seen it. I'd probably burst into tears of joy if I ever do get to.
Thank you very much. I went there the crowds were nauseating. Couldnt see much. You had a great spot. And fantastic vid. No jumping no up and down. Enjoyed it very very much. Thank You!! Skyler
Very nicely done. I miss watching this. Last time was when I was a kid. Sadly the Disney out here in Anaheim doesn't do it anymore. Thank You PopSong1 for helping me reliving my childhood memories. I hope , but doubt, to get to the big Disney over there in Florida. Thanks again.
oh my...so many sweet memories and feelings come back by just hearing to this melody...now being 42 years old... remember going to disney world back in the 80s...thank you walt disney world for making happy to so many people from around the world.....Saludos FROM mexico city.
I loved and enjoyed this parade too in Disney world ever since I came here the second year in 2010 when I was 8 and it has been amazing to me and I wish I could go back to the time this was happening in Disney world cause it’s been a great childhood experience to me that I’ll never forget it will be a special memory to me forever
I remember when I was in 3rd grade me and my family went to Disney World and we watched the whole parade and it made my summer break memorable one🧁🍭🍡🍬🍦🥰🥺😭💗💖🤩😍🥰😍🥳🤩🥳😍🥰☺️😇🎊🎉🎈🎉🎉🎈🎉🎊🎉🎈🎉🎊🎉🎊🌭🍔🍟🍕🍒🍉🍇🍓🍊🍋🍐🍎🍏🥝🌞🌺🌸🌼🌻💐🌷🌹🌴🦓🦍🐆🐅🐊🦈🐋🐡🐠🐟🐬🐳🦀🦞🐙🐢🐶🐱🐭🐹🐰🦊🐻🦮🐕🐎🤩🥳🎊🥳🎉🎊🥳
I was there a few days later. I had never seen this parade before. Then came 9 pm, that tuesday. The vocoder spoke, the music began, and I’ve been hooked ever since.
This was the one parade I would actually sit and watch rather than waiting for it to be over when I was a kid. Last time I went was sometime around 2015, didn't know they stopped it until today. I remember being on our way out the park and stopping to watch as soon as I heard the music, this parade was hands down my favorite.
that is correct and as a result of that, the roof of the clock float is removed during the holidays so the float can still be in the parade and fit under the garland. about the only thing that used to be decoratwed for Christmas in Florida that isn't anymore is the Country Bear Jamboree
This is a great video! You had an awesome view of it! And you cleared up a mystery for me...I have always wondered if all of the lights went out at one time when the parade started...I noticed that only half of Main Street's light were turned off...then when the parade reached the other half of Main Street, then the other lights went out!! How neat!
Summer of '96, Disneyland Paris, was a show-player (i.e. one of the guys on the sidelines) and heard this almost every night for 3 months. Why oh why am I hearing it again? - guess I had a good time after all :-)
Yeah, it was over 1 hour. If you have more than 1 person in your party you can always take turns saving the spot, and there are some chairs if you get up there early enough.
yeah the parade iroute is divided into zones (iirc the order is Town Square/half of Main Strewet then the other half of Main Street , the hub .Liberty Square Frontierland. once the parade starts it takes approximatly 5 minutes before the soundtrack starts in thje next portion of the route
Main street electrical parade in walt Disney world and Disneyland is one of the best night parades Disneyland and Disney world has shown when have been to disneyland Paris and Disney world
The "To Honor America" float and its music is just amazing I wish they brought it to Tokyo's version, though it would seem completely out of place to see such float in Japan :(
Pop song you have an amazing array of videos posted. How do you pull this off? Are you somehow in the business therefore go to parks all the time? I want your life!!! I am watching your video because we are headed for our annual trip to Disney, leaving today. This parade takes me back to when I was a kid. Just LOVE IT!!! thanks for posting!
I remember I went to this parade back in 2013 probably on the same date this video was taken and it was one of the best things 5 year old me ever experienced at that point of my life. I’m still trying to comb through the video and see if I can find little kid me in the crowd sitting on a curb holding a can of Sprite and wearing a Pluto the Dog hat while my dad is taking video with an ancient iPhone 5 and my grandpa is sitting there trying to light his tobacco pipe without anybody noticing
Best spot to be! The first time I ever went to WDW we got there early and we had been in fantasyland and we simply rode the train got off and did not move...There was a nice guy beside me and he told me he had been several times and watched the parade every night no matter what park he was in (the joys of parkhopper) and He
@@ithemeparkOFFICIAL That day, me and my family celebrated my mom's birthday . We took her to this parade in Magic Kingdom because she loves parades. ( And because we thought this parade was a one time event) While looking at family photos recently, I happen to notice one from 2013 at Disney. So I just happen to search up this parade in 2013 just to take a trip down memorie lane.
One time my family and I went to see the parade and the yellow mushroom got close to use, Alice pointed at me and asked us, " Did that boy got his hat on backwards?" and our answer was, "Yes."
i can imagine an image like this on the horseshoe curve near altoona pa, trains march around a similar edifice like the parade, the music has to be pretty loud, but here at horseshoe curve the trains offer up an element of surprise, you then hear them, then the sound dies down, then a few minutes later it gets very loud as hell when the train is seen crawling up the hill a few minutes later, accompanying the thunderous roar of locomotives is the screaming squeal of loud flanges pushing rails and the pushers finish the show with a thunderous crescendo before the curve ultimately quiets down not too different, like a train around horseshoe curve with big tonnage and pushers
Oh man...I love this parade. Looks like it still won' t be back in California when I go visit in October for 2 weeks...bummer! I do however get to see Disneyland decked out for Halloween and go to the Halloween Haunt at knott's Berry Farm. You really should visit California, PopSong. You'll love it.
i remember trying to get around this thing to ride some rides right before the park closed. the music made it like i was trapped in a cartoon or something. it was pretty fun.
said he's been probably in every spot possible (except for the super exclusive Cinderella suite) and he sid BY FAR the best spot.... I have only been once so ya know.... The one time I went this is where I was and I saw it all! My question is how did you prevent your camera from shaking.... Mine shook the whole time.... It was about 70% still :P
I'm pretty sure that this parade was in California Adventure a few years back and when it said that it was moving to Walt Disney world I was so sad that was one of my favorite parades and now I won't be able to see it ever again because I don't have any money to go to Walt Disney world 😭😫😢
I have always wanted to see this live, but never got the chance. :( I'm so happy I got to see it renewed though! Just a bit sad they took out Peter Pan. :\
I'm watching this again on UA-cam and it brings tears to my eyes in remembering how good WALT DISNEY WORLD once was so many years ago!
I LOVE this parade!! I think it's got to be my favorite in Disney history. I always get this excited feeling when I hear "Ladies and gentlemen, boys and girls: the Magic Kingdom proudly presents nighttime pageant of magic and imagination!"
Well this didn’t age well 😂😂😂
There’s nothing wrong with it. Lol

I’ve been hooked on this since I was 6 years old in 2010. I have very fond memories and I refuse to let go of this! I live this Parade!
I know the feeling. As a kid I always wanted to go to Disneyland. I made it there for the 50th anniversary and did burst into tears. Keep dreaming and I hope you get there soon. You'll find ways to go back as you get older.
You have the BEST spot to cover this most SPECTACULAR parade. WELL DONE !
this is wonderful, thank you.

What do you mean gone? From Disneyland? Or am I missing something?
Yeah. It's said to be missing from Disneyland CA because of renovation or something. They took Spectromagic from WDW and replaced it with this. We don't know if this parade will return to Disneyland, but Spectromagic fans hope so.
Yes, gone. They are updating to a newer type of parade. It will be missed.
Lady2Love so, at WDW, they are making a new parade? Or are we talking about Disneyland? Im confused. ..
Ninjago Fan Disneyland are a new parade.
This was honesty the best thing I have ever witnessed in my life. My parents met whilst working at Disney so the company is a very important part of my life.
Wonderful, thank you for sharing this! Walt's magic still exists in his parks.

Maravilloso!!! he tenido la suerte de estar ahí y lo disfrutamos al máximo, en una palabra... MAGIA!!!
My brother and I worked at WDW in the 70s. A lot of memories...but the songs could wear on you day after day 😂
I remember only seeing it twice before it moved to California. I was so sad 😢😂 Luckily there are these videos of it that I get to watch

This brought back so many memories, thanks for the wonderful video
Beautiful job holding the camera, thank you for posting :)
I was standing exactly where you are when I saw the Main Street Electrical Parade on my last day in Disney. Take me back
This is so beautiful!! Just loved every bit of it :-)
Brutha Pop!!! THou art truly the jedi master of Disney videos!!!
Never saw this parade, but had the music for it on a Disney Music cassette tape. Loved listening to it whenever I could!
I'm a 10 year old kid in the 70's again, whenever I hear this music and get to see my turtles 🐢! 😊😂
Proud being a Disney Fanatic
Wow! Now that lit up the Magic Kingdom street! Yay!! ✨ Glad to see all those people from uptop those floats with me and my pals! 4:57 Hey there’s me!
hi Mickey!
Ahh brings back childhood memories watching this at Disneyland in CA. too bad they don't show it there anymore :(
Well, in good side we will have a New Night time Parade called Paint The Night: New Electrical Parade.
Good news it will be back at Disneyland in the beginning of 2017.
Lucky you have this! Never been to Disneyworld. I live in Anaheim and I miss this parade
In my opinion, this was the only Disney parade worth watching
that is correct and as a result of that, the roof of the clock float is removed during the holidays so the float can still be in the parade and fit under the garland. about the only thing that used to be decoratwed for Christmas in Florida that isn't anymore is the Country Bear Jamboree

this is my fave parade i luv you guys. u r the best :)
Can you tell me where you were standing to take this video? Is it a public spot? Great vantage point to get a bird's eye view of a splendid parade!
I used to work on the parade it was a lot of fun
Summer of '96, Disneyland Paris, was a show-player (i.e. one of the guys on the sidelines) and heard this almost every night for 3 months. Why oh why am I hearing it again? - guess I had a good time after all :-)
yes it stopped running at California Adventure on April 19th 2010. the floats you see here are the ones from Anaheim
Yeah, it was over 1 hour. If you have more than 1 person in your party you can always take turns saving the spot, and there are some chairs if you get up there early enough.

Upstairs at the Main Street USA Train Station.

Con este tema tengo dos grandes infancias encontradas. Por un lado Disneyland y por otro lado el Chapulín
The real surprise is the great view of the parade at the train station, just don't tell thomas, james, percy, gordon and edward or they get jealous!
I'm both a railfan and a main street electrical parade fan. I do wonder what Thomas will think of this.
Yes, it would take some pretty epic Ringo star narration to describe it
also if Thomas sees the drum float. what do you think will happen.

THE LAST TIME I SAW THIS WONDERFUL PARADE AT DISNEYWORLD WAS IN MARCH 1981 WHEN I WITH A GREATER MIAMI YOUTH FOR CHRIST/CAMPUS LIFE GROUP!
Supposedly SpectroMagic was supposed to replace this in the Spring. Now I'm hearing its not. Anybody know? I love MSEP so I hope if stays!
I miss these nighttime parades, they just hit different than firework shows

OMG super AWESOME view though!!!!
I'm pretty sure that this parade was in California Adventure a few years back and when it said that it was moving to Walt Disney world I was so sad that was one of my favorite parades and now I won't be able to see it ever again because I don't have any money to go to Walt Disney world 😭😫😢

"let's recreate the most horrifying scene from Pinnochio" HAHA :)
rumors are the MSEP will be returning to its original home for next year.
Meant to be at California Adventure. Not here. Now it's just a memory,
I thought you could still see this parade at California Adventure. Maybe it has stopped there as well. Thats where I saw it last time.
As much as I want to see this parade, the rides are basically walk on during parades lol
Im going to be marching in that parade next week (:
Remember how Disney used to be? Anybody remember when Disney was easy and fun?
Yep, went to Disney in 2016 and 2018 and it was awesome! T red tying to save up money to do it s as fain 2026!
how long before the parade did u get there for that spot im thinking quite awhile
