All 30 clubs have experienced some stretches of success, thanks to the contributions of franchise legends, be it a coach, executive or player.
So with that being said, here’s something to think about: If every NBA team had to one day create their own Mt. Rushmore, how would they look?
We’re here to settle that debate as we take a deep dive into every NBA team’s history to construct a Mt. Rushmore for each of them.
Today we present, Every NBA Team's Mount Rushmore.

I never knew that Dwight Howard lead the Magic to the 1999 finals. 😂
D12 Man, Myth, or Legend?
🤣🤣🤣 I was just about to comment on this also
😂😂😂 Dwight took Orlando to the playoffs in highschool
@@26Messick !!!!
When i heard that i had to go back to make sure i wasn't trippin
I had no idea Dwight Howard took the magic to the finals in 1999 when he was 14 years old. 😂😂
That's greatness we never knew of 😂😂😂
it was the spurs versus Knicks
Damn he better than MJ SHIT ( so thts why “Like Mike” was made
Lol I know right...he probably meant to say 2009 but had a brain fart.
I told y’all he was greatness
Chicago Bulls should have Derrick Rose
Drinking game: Take a shot every time this man says “juggernaut”
This man did chris bosh dirty on the Raptors and heat
And tim hardaway for the heat
And Chauncey on the Nuggs and Pistons
And yau Ming for rockets
Not at all for the raptors
And Chris Mullin for the Warriors. Kerr or Draymond? Cmon.
larry johnson for charlotte? alonzo mourning for charlotte?
yeah this list is whack as fuck. how you gonna put rodman on the bulls mt rushmore? he played for them for like 3 seasons if hes gonna be on any of them it would be the pistons
Can't have a Hornets Mt. Rushmore without Grandmama smh
Samething I said how u not gonna have the franchise they built around
And glen rice was a beast as well
I have it like this Alonzo Morning Larry Johnson Kemba Walker Mugs
His last name is just Towns. Karl-Anthony is his first name
I didn't know Dwight Howard led the Magics to the 1999 finals at the age of 13. Lmfao.
Damn not even an honorable mention for rose?
I agree take Rodman out Rose played for Chicago longer and made a bigger impact even without a championship
@@andreedowell84 nah,Chicago doesn't win those if it weren't for rodman, even if drose is 10x more skilled, but that's a tough person to leave out
@@pizzabagelz1204 only on offense watch the last dance and you'll realise
@@isoo_godd1364 I'm not denying that rodman is 30x better at defense,in fact I am supporting him,I know drose is a better offensive player but rodman is way better at defense
Kyrie not even in the cavs rushmore 🤣🤣🤣🤣
Bruh chancuy Billups and Ben Wallace aren’t in the pistons top 4. They gave us a championship against the Kobe and Shaq Lakers
No Grant Hill either
I would replace bill lambieer and Lanier for billups and Wallace, they were a really fun and good team to watch
It should have been
1. Isiah Thomas
2. Joe dumars
3. Grant hill
4. Chauncey billups
I think Thomas, Dumars, Wallace and Billups should be the top 4
@@Hawkeyespeedblitz Id still say Ben Wallace over grant hill because hes a 4 time DPOY and hill doesnt have any rings
You can't leave Red Auerbach off the Celtics Mt Rushmore. He collected 16 championships as either a coach or a GM. That record will never be beat!
I feel like at least one member of the 2004 Pistons should've made their Mt. Rushmore.
Larry Johnson aka "Grand Ma Ma" with the Hornets. That was a big miss
Rite! And alanzo mourning
Ikr, Muggsy and Dell shouldn't have been there
What about Baron Davis?
@@NJDray-jn2gy eh, idk he was more NO to me
ur Charlotte list I teribble
no glen rice, zo, or grandmama I'm done
Big Al CR Larry Johnson’s up for it too
@@anthonylogan4209 that is grandmama that's his nickname
Aw
Who cares charlotte’s trash and always will be
Averian Biton he was making a correction why you gotta be so heated bruh
Dwight Howard was drafted in 2004, and led Orlando to the finals in 2009, not 1999.
Phil Jackson shouldn’t be on the bulls if he’s a coach, instead put Derrick Rose
@Eoin Burke no rodman is fire and is amazing at defense, hustle, and rebounding
So then the spurs should get rid of pop right?
Bruh what?
Nick Gaylord no he’s the best coach all time
Pete Maravich should be in the Atlanta Hawks Mount Rushmore
@Carson K. Montgomery second,I'd say Moses Malone is the most underrated
Jazz too
Cristiano sports ception yuh
He could probably score 50 PPG in today's NBA
EvilGramCrackr 29 no
The Atlanta Hawks and minus "Pistol" Pete Maravich? That is effing blaspheme.
Samething I said they fucked up this list
And mutumbo
I agree but then again they didn’t have Jerry West aka the logo on the Lakers. I know it was hard to choose but they could’ve switched Shaq with him. Mainly since they had Shaq on Orlando’s list. It seems like these guys don’t do that much research anymore.
@@patrickwhelpley1745 It occurred to me that many sports channels also cater to a younger (18-34) audience.
And Spud Webb
Dwight took the magic to the playoffs and still made it 1st period math the next day amazing
TPS went from having likeable hosts and informative videos to hiring hosts that sound like they're 12 and making average content
Pistons Mt. Rushmore no Ben Wallace, Grant Hill???
Yeah also Chauncey bill ups he won finals mvp
Yeah how in the HELL do you not put Grant Hill in there. He WAS the Pistons in the 90s.
I was just saying that as it came up
Exactly
@@the_chandler Of course, the Pistons in the '90s weren't very good (except for '90 and '91, which Hill had nothing to do with). Hill was obviously great, I had a teal Grant Hill jersey growing up, in an alternate timeline he would have been an absolute legend, and it's not his fault it didn't work out, but in reality, there are several Pistons who had a bigger impact on the franchise.
I can definitely see the argument for Wallace and/or Billups. Laimbeer's tricky because he's not a Hall of Famer, but I honestly believe that's more due to his style of play, demeanor, and the enemies he made than a lack of skill. He was a stretch 5 before that was really a thing, as an efficient three-point shooter. He was also a very strong free-throw shooter, which was useful because pissing opponents off and drawing both legitimate fouls and near-fouls that he then worked hard to sell was part of his game. You can hate it and say it's not in the spirit of the sport...I'm not even sure I'd disagree with you. But a great free throw shooter who can regularly get to the line through antagonizing opponents is an effective tool. And that's in addition to the defensive stuff he's known for. He was a rebounding champ, and in his later years was sharing rebounding duties with Rodman, or he may have had a shot at additional rebounding titles.
Interviews in the 30 for 30 on the Bad Boys discuss how they wanted teams thinking about out-toughing or outfighting them, because opponents got more concerned about that than outplaying them. And Laimbeer was the leader in getting opponents more interested in punching him in the face than scoring on him (there's a great line where he's completely gotten under the skin of the Blazers during the 1990 finals and he says from the bench "come on Isiah, take it over. Got half their team thinking about me." He put in work that didn't show up in stat sheets, and isn't necessarily even commendable as a player, but I do firmly believe the Bad Boys win zero titles without him.
Of course, that gets tricky when comparing him with Big Ben or Chauncey...the third-most important player to two title runs vs. the first or second-most important players to one title run? I don't know. I just don't want to see Laimbeer's contributions to the franchise dismissed, even if he did totally earn his own nasty reputation.
5:20 I agree with Thomas, Dumars, and Bob Lanier, but I'd take Laimbeer off and replace him with either Ben Wallace, Grant Hill, or Chauncey Billups.
I would say Ben Wallace
Grants got an argument
I agree with u I'm like where is the love for that 04 Pistons team
No keep Laimbeer and take Lanier off. Cuz Laimbeer was that defense
DARKO?
I love Kerr and think he's done a hell of a job with Golden State but Klay has to be in that spot.
Kerr should be on the Bulls though and the spurs
Breyon Hopkins no...
Breyon Hopkins not sure what your smoking but his dumb ass don’t need to be on the spurs. Good player but wasn’t a Tim type of player
What without Kerr Klay would be a nobody
I would say no I think maybe Tim hardaway was great golden state player with his awesome crossover back in the days

Bananapplesauce i mean all of them deserve it but i feel like they shouldn’t have taken all 4 people from the same era. I’d take out phil jackson for rose

IKR! Wilt the stilt always lost to Russell and the Celtics during that era, winning only once in 1967 and that was with the Sixers.

How could you leave out Ray Allen from the all time Supersonics

Andre Gunn EXACTLY
@@timothytillman8316 As a Bucks fan, Moncrief was much more important as he was the best player during the team's best era which was the 80s. The first half of the 70s were great but the second half sucked. The 90s was just awful, and the 2000s had one great year. In all honesty, the modern era of Bucks basketball is the best since the 80s since we have been contenders two years in a row instead of just one. But he can't even led the Cavs to the playoffs before Lebron made his comeback
Mark Price is definitely a better choice for the list

Kevin Durant does as well he played for them for 3 years only but helped them win 2 championships and 2 finals mvps

All they got right were the: Pacers, OKC, Orlando and Wizards. Leaving "Ro" Blackman off the Mavs for Harper was trash. Oh, and no coaches allowed.
The Charlotte Mt Rushmore is ridiculous. How in the hell can you leave Larry Johnson ( who had his own cross-dressing basketball Nike character "Grand ma-ma" ) and Alonzo Mourning, still the greatest center to ever play for that franchise, off of their Mt. Rushmore? Gerald Wallace? Nah. And you probably have to take Mugsy off too, although you could debate between Mugsy and Zo. It should be Kemba - Larry Johnson - Alonzo Moruning/Mugsy Bogues - Dell Curry. You can also make a case for Glen Rice, who was an All-Star in the 3 seasons he played in Charlotte.

The fact that Gerald Wallace is a Mount Rushmore player for Charlotte shows you how bad they have always been.
Kyrie irving should've made it on the cavs mount Rushmore. He's underrated. Hit the game winning shot for the cavs only championship. Havlicek were both all time greats but I feel like one of them should have been replaced with Red Auerbach
Agreed. Red Auerbach coached Celtics for 11 championships and as an executive he drafted Larry Bird. Red also traded the number 1 overall pick for the #3 and Robert Parrish... and that #3 pick turned into Kevin McHale.
Rip Wes Unseld he passed away today here are some facts about him
1. Was only the second player to win rookie of the year and MVP in the same year next to Wilt chamberlain
2. Was chosen as one of the top 50 NBA players of all time
3. Also made all star team in his rookie year
4. Was playing center even though he was 6 foot 7 inches but managed to average 14 rebounds per game in his career
5. 12th all time in rebounds
5. Average 13 points and 18 rebounds per game in his rookie season
Averaged 18 points and 18 rebounds per game in the 1969 NBA Playoffs
6. In 1977-78 he lead the Washington Bullets to their first( and only) NBA championship and won Finals MVP

Replace Shaq with West and it's perfect. How can you put Jerry West on the NBA logo, but not on the Lakers Rushmore? That makes zero sense to me.
Shaq is better

Kobe should have been 1st
Yeah. West is so much better than Shaq ever was. Shaq could not shoot. He was just big.
How do you put Rodman on the Mount Rushmore for the Bulls and not Derrick Rose?????
How is d Rose not on the bulls over Dennis? I love Dennis Rodman as much as the next guy, but he never won an mvp.
I'd remove Phil Jackson and put in Horace Grant for Bulls since this is supposed to be a player list based on the title. I'd even put Grant over Rodman tbh. As a Bull Grant had an efficient (shot over .500 every season) 6,866 points vs. Rodmans 1,037 less efficient scoring. I get the importance of the rebounds that Rodman brings but I prefer a 13-10 guy in Grant over a 5-15 guy like Rodman.
Ur dumb loll Rodman deserves to be their he was a beast and a fan favorite and Phil was behind the dynasty I would never put Horace up their he was good not Mount Rushmore good and it isn’t about players it’s their Rushmore
@@nox1ck589Horace Grant was a better overall player than Rodman with the Bulls. That's my opinion, which is literally what this list is, just opinions. And if we are real Derick Rose and Artis Gimore should probably be above both Grant and Rodman. No Pistol Pete, Mutombo or Iso Joe for Atlanta. Lou Hudson isn’t even in the hall of fame and the hawks were pretty bad at that time.
How you have Charlotte with freaking Muggy Bouges and Gerald Wallace but no Alonzo Mourning Larry Johnson or Glen Rice ? Goodness does this guy any research?😂

Soon Mitchell Robinson will be on the knicks rushmore
Remember no one was live including yourself to witness the 8 straight finals wins with only a few teams in the league.

Good list (except no Zo on Charlotte) except maybe Drose for the bulls?
Even though he had better playoff success in a shorter time in Houston idk if I’d put Drexler over Tracy McGrady or Calvin Murphy.
