This reminds me of a surreal experience watching one of these channels late at night in an Italian hotel. They were selling these weird metre-tall translucent plastic 2D cutouts of what looked like the figure on a male bathroom symbol - just absolute junk that nobody could possibly want. I didn't understand what they were saying as it was in Italian, but one of them started shouting, knocked over the figures and stormed off. I can only imagine he had an epiphany and realised what he was doing with his life. I hope he's doing well.

Many times they’d lead him on as if they were genuinely interested in the products just to end up telling him to go fuck his mother and other nice things of that nature. The best part was the person who’s voicing the 3rd elderly caller who is actually holding in laughter and let’s put a bit of a giggle while reciting his line “they’d look good on your dead body” 😂😂

I worked at a thrift store (non-profit charity)for a while and we had a jewelry department. We had tons of stuff like you would see on shopping channels. Apart from the real gold and sterling nothing was over $20 and most of it was under $5. Hilariously enough there was quite a few old people checking the cheap stuff with magnets thinking that our in-house jeweler didn’t check for that already.

Sometimes I used to do imitations of the guy that sells the 100 piece knife deals. I always liked the way that he talked and was always surprised that people were actually buying them. Idk who needs that many knives,but he made it seem like they were fun for the whole family.
I’m glad my grandpa preferred the radio over tv shows for this reason. And every time he “bought” me jewellery he just handed me some money to buy a birthday or Christmas present that way he knew I would like it.
Out of everyone South Park made fun of, this might be the most ruthless one. For other celebrities and stuff you can tell they’re simply making jokes and it isn’t too serious. But you can tell they HATE these people from these sketches.
