Not a physicist, but a 70 years old learner . You have superbly explained 2D motion. Allas i would have come across this type of learning in my gone days.
I highly recommend this video for anyone who wants to understand the concept of Vertical and Horizontal Components of a Projectile Motion. Thank you very much for your help.
+Melinda Ho Thanks for the positive comment. As I was competing the video and trying to include everything and keep it under 10 minutes I was beginning to worry that there were too many arrows/vectors and numbers, etc and that it would get too confusing.
But it depend on the choosen positive direction, let say if I have choosen the positive y upward then incase of free fall the aceleration in reference my choosen direction will be negative 9.81
I am in favor of the metric system but unfortunately all my data is not, fortunately I know how to convert, I would like to see a video converting to and from metrics that. Thank you so much for the time and effort well done.
When the forces are balanced then there is no acceleration and the object moves with a constant velocity. Balanced forces is when the sum of all the forces acting on the object equals zero. Unbalanced is the opposite and then the object is accelerating. Does that help?
Compared to the organic chemistry anf khan academy, you man is the best at teaching
Very nice positive comment, thank you!
I agree, was just from those two channel's and I've understood better with this explanation
4 years later and you're still the only youtuber/teacher that actually explains this topic very well.
Very nice of you to say. Thanks for watching and commenting.

Thank you for the kind comment and glad you are a continuous learner!

Thanks for that very positive comment!
I literally found myself a new physics teacher that’s ready at any time
Great and thanks for letting me know.
You, sir deserve more recognition. :)
Very nice of you to say, tell all your friends.
@@stepbystepscience I will for sure. Keep the good work. Your is simple and excelent
I like your method of teaching, well done. I will recommend to many student.
its 2020 but you are still the best teacher ever :)
Very nice of you to say so.
Nicely done. I appreciate your clarity.
Nizam Taleb Thank for the great comment, I always try to go through the problems step-by-step.
pozdrawiam pana zawadzkiego
Thank for the comment.
Również pozdrawiam :D
This was very helpful, thank you.
You're welcome! Glad it was helpful.
you deserve as much as theorganicchemistrytutor and khanacademy have
So nice of you, thanks!
Appreciate the effort and time to make these great videos! hats down
Glad you like them!
Thankyou so much for the lovely teaching.
Thank you sir, very nice explaination.
I can finally solve my psysics problems.
That's wonderful, thanks for watching!
Good visuals to demonstrate the concept of projectile motion. This would help my students.

Awesome
4 yrs and still not a single dislike...lets keep it that way pls
Thanks for the comment.
Thank you very much!
You're welcome!
helping me learn so much!
Glad that you did and thanks for the comment.
You have a good explanation, a great teacher! why is acceleration given a minus sign both in projectile and free fall
Because the acceleration is always acting down, which is the negative direction.
But it depend on the choosen positive direction, let say if I have choosen the positive y upward then incase of free fall the aceleration in reference my choosen direction will be negative 9.81

You are amazing!
Wow, thank you!
Thank you that helps.
You are very welcome and thanks for commenting.
thank you very much
How did you get a time of 4 seconds
I finally understood it thank you very much
You are very welcome, thanks for commenting.

thank u
Welcome
thank you sir
You are welcome.
How did you decide to use times from 0 - 4?
I set up the time so that it took 4 seconds to reach the ground. So the time of 4 seconds is a given in this case.
What do you mean by balanced and unbalanced forces
When the forces are balanced then there is no acceleration and the object moves with a constant velocity. Balanced forces is when the sum of all the forces acting on the object equals zero. Unbalanced is the opposite and then the object is accelerating. Does that help?
Is it velocity intial or final
Is what velocity initial or final?
I am in love with you lol
Really, that is quite a compliment.
