The woman at first is talking about how much succes Aqua is having around the world. With barbie girl and all. Then she tells that she has gotten a interview with them while eating lunch.

Lene is Norwegian, while Rene, Claus and Soren are Danish. I'm curious what language they speak when Lene is part of the conversation. Danish? Norwegian? English? In both countries English is the dominant second language, while German and French (also in both countries) are tied in third.

+Mdriver1981 Thats a good question.I know there are a lot of Danish words that are spelled the same as Norwegian but Norwegians have different pronunciations of some words. There was a girl from Norway who said she didn't need subtitles for Danish movies because she could understand about 95% of what they were saying.I also talked to a Swedish woman last year and she told me she could understand mostly all Danish and Norwegian because the three have a lot in common.I do notice differences between them all though,I find Danish to me,sounds more German with its sharpness in the sound of their words and the other two sound a lot softer.

Those languages-Norwegian and Danish-are very similar like Czech and Slovakian, so you can speak Norwegian in DK and they will understand you. I heard... The same with Swedish.

@TheAyanna001 Aqua is a danish-norwegian group. I know Lene is norwegian and I think Rene is dansih.. Not sure bout the other two... But I think they sing in english so everyone can understand them in english speaking countries.

Lene is Norwegian, the guys all are Danish. As both languages belong to the same language group they can communicate with each other.

Lene asks the waiter for potatoes.
Søren would like tartar, Claus wants fish and René want pig.
Yea? :b that's the first part.

is it because Lene was speaking half danish half Norwegian that they had to give her subtitles? or it's just her accent?

@Bigbadpoppaj The clip from JP was used because the commentator in the beggining said that, the beginning of cartoon heroes might even get you in the mood for a Steven 'Spielberg movie

Why they don't like performing in Dallas? Also I'm curious, has Aqua made music in their own language? Have they explained why they prefer to sing in English?
