I never thought I'd see Aqua live, and when they went on tour the MOMENT tickets went on sale I bought 2, and my only regret is not getting the Meet and Greet VIP. An amazing show, amazing vibes, and the crowd was so wonderfully eclectic - People from 7 - 70, saw gangsters and rave kids, goths and just regular joes, every spectrum. Just awesome. Not every europop group needs to make a come back, but the Godfather/mother group of Aqua absolutely has deserved this, and I absolutely love this for them.
Every 90’s kid was revived the second that song started up lol 90’s memories came flooding back loved it….felt like a kid again dancing and singing to every lyric while my son looked at me as a crazy mom lol 😝
I actually teared up watching this. I also hope they know that 90% of the audience are singing it word by word not because of Greta Gerwig's movie but because it was THAT big years ago, it's just that it was only in 2023, you could embrace it in all its glory.
Love this song and extremely happy they are still rocking it after all these years. Their energy is still on point and they are totally owning that stage / crowd. The joy in the crowd was very plain to see.

There have been some amazing releases recently by other female pop icons who are over 50- Kylie Minogue's Tension, Goldfrapp's latest album, and others. I think they only get better with maturity, and it's amazing to see because it's like the dawning of a new age, wherein people with more talent to share don't have to retire from the limelight just because of the pressures of ageism.

It's no surprise they haven't missed a beat. Been dropping great tracks for decades. Great flow, great vocals, great stage presence. Aqua deserve a lot more credit than one song.

Songs like "Turn Back Time" which was featured in the movie Sliding Doors starring Gwyneth Paltrow, and there was songs from their 2nd album "AQUARIUS"; songs like "Cartoon Heroes", "We Belong To The Sea" and "Good Guys". The group was more than just that one hit song.

I've seen them live four times recently (yeah 90s). They put on an amazing show. The fact that Lene is a great vocalist is sometimes lost. The Barbie Song is their most well known and amongst their campiest. Her vocal ability is more easily discernable on other tracks.

I first got into this song back in 2008 when I was 6, and this is where I was first beginning my love of electronic dance music. I still love this song quite a lot in addition to many other songs also from AQUA.
