Making Dud Glowsticks Go Nuclear In Hot Coals

A pack of glowsticks we took camping was very disappointing, with some of them barley glowing at all. Since the rate of the chemical reaction that causes the glow increases with temperature, we thought the hot coals of the camp fire might make the glow increase. We where no longer disappointed! Please keep a safe distance if doing this, and avoid being downwind from the smoke.
