Definitely true, especially in college. Have not seen many players go into super specific/strict diets while in college. Just doesn’t work well for adherence.
I can't imagine eating that often, I played high-level hockey for years doing 18/6 intermittent fasting w/sub-100G of carbs per day. That said, I have extremely endomorphic genetics & become a fat slob if I eat outside a 6-hour window, whereas this dude is super shredded Great to learn this BTS stuff dude!
Hey Alex! I think if you are trying to eat a larger quantity of food pacing is important. You want to make sure you dont end up with a 1500 calorie night snack or something that's very difficult to eat so spreading it out from right in the morning till the night makes it easier to consume a higher calorie diet.
I wish people really understood how insanely similar a TON of college hockey players eat. It isn't always pretty, but it works!
