Go with whatever hero you find fun to use, one rep is usually enough to see if you like the hero's playstyle, and if you are struggling to react to faster attacks or mixups, go into the training grounds, make the enemy use only light attacks with no cooldown, and block the attacks until you do so consistently, but other than that, the more you play the game, the easier it'll feel, good luck to you!
