- In this episode, we visit pig beach and discover where they live and their luscious lifestyle as only glam pigs do!!
We didn’t bring food by accident but are glad we didn’t after realising their strict diet
Philippa gets bitten?!
We leave pig beach and head to the famous Thunderball grotto where the film Thunderball was shot and also the film Never Say Never Again
James and I do a little James Bond role play (had to be done)
Philippa really does get stung, ‘James’ to the rescue lol..
We set off for dinner in the tender to the beautiful Staniel Cay Yacht club where we beach the tender amongst others that are visiting the restaurant and enjoy some local and not so local delicacies.
00.00 - We leave Aequus and head to pig beach
00.26 - We visit The Pigs at Pig Beach
03.51 - Does Philippa get bitten by a pig?
05.50 - We leave pig beach
06.13 - We arrive at Thunderball Grotto
07.12 - ‘James Bond’ appears

10.24 - We set off for dinner at Staniel Cay Yacht Club
11.00 - We see a shark swim under us

Definitely Fire Coral- before it grows into solid coral, it resembles fuzzy algae and clings to dead coral, ropes, chains, anything. Love the videos- great adventure!

Would have been terrible if a pig followed you back and fell on your bbq 🤣i always wondered why the beach and surrounding sea is not covered in pigs poo. Caves looked amazing and water is gorgeous looks like a jellyfish sting. Can't wait til we get our boat and get out to these places. I think you 2 are brilliant

Very interesting about James Bond's movie. That was a Nurse Shark, you basically can swim with them. No, you can not have one with your Bacon and Eggs. See ya Next week.
Best to swim in the Grotto at either slack low or high tide.
You both make a good Bond cast. Except when James was digging the little anchor into the sand , that wasn't very Bond like. Needed to be more of a throw with one hand and carry on walking.🤣 Cool filming was well done.

Your comment about sharks got me wondering…how do you know when it is safe to go into the water at a new anchorage? Does it ever cross your mind?
It does! I think the sharks are mostly safe in the Bahamas but still not that keen on swimming with them yet!

ROAD, great to see you again.... this is a great question... We wanted an A - and had to be latin, it had to be related to water, and AEQUUS means Calm, level, equal and it is all the things James and I are not and trying to be, hahahaaa... so we called it AEQUUS....

The marks on your leg looks like jelly fish stings they can last up to 3 weeks
You are right. It is a jellyfish, in fact this pattern was caused by a jellyfish in form of string, like a clear jelly string with a very tiny black beans through it, very usual in Caribbean, nothing to worries. Sorry for my english.
