Arlo going through the Stages of Grief. He's finally at the Acceptance stage
Huh, sounded like denial to me.
I thought it was bargaining or denial
Barganing for sure
Its weird he says it wont release on Switch vs saying it will be the release title for the next system. Twilight Princess and BOTW served as intros to Nintendos new systems and they also released on the old. Its clear Nintendo will do the same which is why they are re releasing the old Primes on Switch
Yeah Prime 4 is sadly gonna probably NOT be on the Switch but their next console -_-
Well now that Arlo has put this out I’m looking forward to Prime 4’s full reveal at the next Nintendo Direct with a release date later this year
The Nintendo left field thing
I think if anything else Metroid related drops this year it will be remasters of Prime 2 and/or 3… Prime 4 will probably be a 2024 release for either the Switch or a launch title for whatever is next or both
Meanwhile, Arlo needs to schedule another vacation soon. That way Metroid prime 4 can be revealed
Good video, very impressive
This is exactly what always happens
Arlo in 2022: There will be no Pikmin announcement
Miyamoto in 2022: Let's talk about Pikmin
Given all the hiring Nintendo has done for Retro, and the difference in genres, it's safe to assume Metroid Prime 4 is going to be much more expensive to make than Pikmin 4, so Nintendo will probably want to have a lengthier marketing period for that game. So I think it's just too late for MP4 for the switch, they wont have time to market it before the new console is out.
@@bobpotato1231also considering how metroid is pretty small franchise there's no way the game would sell well at that point in Nintendo switch life
This is like watching someone cope really hard for 12 minutes and they finally make it to acceptance
Glad we all managed to power trough the stages of metroid grief
We're all stronger for it.
@@jameslawrenson1208 Heck yeah!
Ding Ding Arlo, need to make a zelda gameplay video
Is Metroid Grief the sequel to Metroid Dread?
Arlo is at bargaining right now actually
Expected you to say “Miyamoto had to make SURE … there was no story in Pikmin 4”
I really don’t like Arlo’s hate boner for Miyamoto.
@@2yoyoyo1Unplugged I don’t think he’s overly negative about the situation. If I knew some guy was in the board room of all my favourite projects just ripping out story beats, and grumbling about any that sneak in - well, I’d be one grumpy guy too
@sixstringpsycho I think it's kinda warranted. As much as we owe the man for a lot of amazing games and franchises it's not 1980 or 90s anymore so having a game still be fun but able to have a story isn't a bad thing. Pikmin doesn't need a story but games like zelda or paper mario I would like a cohesive story
I think its ironic that people think miyamoto hates story when he originally wanted wo make manga lol
@@2yoyoyo1Unplugged Same. 😕
My life just will not be complete until Arlo finishes a rant with "never go against a Sicilian when death is on the line."
🤣🤣YES!!!!
Hahah I KNEW his voice sounded familiar!! He could pull it off perfectly
As a chess player, that phrase confuses me
Arlo is not Sicilian
@Jake DeMatteo It's a princess bride reference
i think it’s unlikely that it’ll be exclusive to the next console. i feel like it’d be similar to botw launching on both the wii u and the switch. i could definitely be wrong, but i think it’d be a bit strange to not have it release on switch, especially since it might be running on the same engine as prime remastered, and we all saw how fantastic that was
It might be on both, but I've got my certainity this will be the last Nintendo game on Switch. I'm certain of it
Who says it'll be the same engine?
The dirty little secret about the Prime Remaster is that it's basically the same game with a new coat of paint that had been included in the Prime Trilogy on Wii. It's not like they remade the game in a new engine or anything like that, which is why they use remaster instead of remake to market it. Odds are really low they're going to be using their Gamecube era engine to develop a game coming out no earlier than sometime in 2024. That said, I don't doubt that they'll *try* to make a functional Switch version just to avoid the bad press that would come with completely abandoning the system after the game was initially announced for it in the same year the Switch released.
It's probably worth noting as well that the cross generational efforts so far have mostly been Zelda, where Twilight Princess released on Gamecube and Wii, two consoles damn near identical under the hood in terms of base hardware, and Breath of the Wild released on Wii U and Switch, where it only really worked because the Switch was a little bit weaker than the Wii U so they could yield similar performance. If the Switch successor represents the hardware step up it should have with all the advancements of mobile tech in the past decade, anything developed for it could sincerely be outside the scope of the Switch without significant compromises though.
@@LuckyTrouble777 the switch is weaker than the wii u?
@@kylemccrory8509 assumption. think about it, nintendo announces prime 4, says nothing for years after they restart development, and then release a remaster of prime 1 from the same studio. my mind immediately trends towards the remaster running on prime 4’s engine
The last part made me laugh “I’ve broken the system”
"Thanks to Arlo, we will be discontinuing development on all future Metroid titles. Next, here's a Nintendo Switch highlight reel!"
Imagine if _Metroid Prime 4_ was a launch title for the Switch's successor. I would be so hyped for that. Whatever system it comes out on, though, if it's half as beautiful as the _Metroid Prime_ remake, the wait will have been more than worth it.
I'm expecting it to be at least twice as beautiful
I have to disagree. If it turned out only half as good looking as the Metroid Prime Remaster, I'd say that would be pretty disappointing. Everyone would always look back on it with a sense of what could have been, with an overall outlook that the long wait was in fact not worth it. Not that it's going to turn out that way; but setting such low standards is never a good thing in the long run.
If it's only half there's a serious problem lol
@@ultrashinymew although I see exactly what you’re saying, I think their point was just to say that MPR looked absolutely stunning lol
The Nintendo Clutch.
Arlo: I'm done being anxious about MP4.
Also Arlo: -is anxious about MP4-
The timing works out too. If they release remastered prime 2 and 3 on switch, that will segway nicely into prime 4 debuting on the next system
Thank you for this video Arlo.
Now we can know for sure that it will be anounced for this year during the next Direct 👍🏻
This is the healthiest way to go about waiting long periods of time for that one franchise that really just scratches the itch lol, great video!
or waste hours on r/pikmin or something idk
It's important to keep in mind that Metroid Prime's original release in 2002 gave it the reputation for being a cutting edge, top tier graphics experience. That's why prime 4 releasing on the current switch has always been a sketchy idea. Even prime 3 suffered a bit from the Wii's lagging behind of the hardware specs of its competitors at the time. Prime 4 being used as a showcase & flex of the new console's capabilities would be good for both Metroid and Nintendo
Either Gigabrain prediciton or the biggest huff of copium I've seen in a while. Hope it all works out for you, Arlo. We're all rooting for you to be right
This isn't really a tough prediction. With the Switch 2 most likely coming out next year, it almost being May and nothing at all being announced until at least a month after TotK releases, it's just too late for MP4 to drop on the switch. It's almost common sense at this stage that it's a switch 2 game, maybe crossgen maybe not.
All I know for certain is that someday this is going to make a great Matt McMuscles video.
i think people are forgetting that the metroid prime 4 teaser said “now in development” - they weren’t announcing the game, they were letting people know the game was just STARTING development. add in the information that big games tend to take 6ish years to develop now, and it’s really not surprising that metroid prime 4 isn’t here yet.
You're starting to make sense. Prime 4 would be a GREAT launch title for a new system. Deep, immersive, and graphically intensive.
I remember watching your video talking about the delay announcement back in my freshman year of college… I’ve been a graduate for exactly a year now… stay strong Arlo
After I played Metroid Prime Remastered, I lost all anxiety about Metroid Prime 4. I realized that Retro knew exactly what they were doing, and that if Prime Remastered was any indication, Prime 4 would be a 10 out of 10 masterpiece. Prime Remastered is probably my single favourite Nintendo Switch game now. Personally I think we will see the game launch for the current Switch in 2024. The logistics are not great for a new console coming in 2024. Also, they have apparently been hiring cinematic directors at Retro Studios since last year, which means that they're likely getting ready to put out trailers for Prime 4.
Just curious: why is Prime Remastered an indication of Prime 4 turning out good? Don't get me wrong, I sincerely wish P4 to be great, but PRemastered was mostly a graphics/controls update, with the main structure and game design created 20 years ago.
@@bringthecheese9504 Exactly. Most of the people who made that game no longer work for the company.
@@TheAlibabatree ...do ya'll think that they destroyed all records of their work or something? They can use the remaster as framework.
@@KruelAidMan Of course. But making a game is like making a music album. Its not just craft, its also artistry. If a masterpiece could be easily replicated, then there would be a lot more.
@@TheAlibabatree who said "replicated"?
This does make sense given that dread released alongside the OLED, thanks for the theory Arlo!
Arlo's classic b-roll of the parasite queen fight being upgraded to the remaster version is so cool! Makes me all nostalgic. I love this channel!
I’m glad you’re at rest it’s nice to see you just relax since you don’t have to keep on staring at the screen just for news. Thanks for the video Arlo and everyone have a AMAZING YEAR and God Bless You All.
I've actually had a similar idea in the back of my mind recently. It's been nearly six years since the last big full on 3d mario, and if it is gonna be six years, then that will have been the longest wait for a 3d mario game ever. I've also taken note of how Nintendo likes to release big new 3d Mario games a little bit after (usually no more than a year) a new console has released. Think Mario 64, mario sunshine, mario galaxy, mario odyssey. So i also kinda think that nintendo is gearing up for the announcement of their next console
Therapist Arlo is the best at putting minds at ease. Let the game come when it comes. Let's embrace the fact that it's in good hands and that we'll enjoy it much like we'll enjoy our Zelda when it lands on our hands 👀 (well, digital folders 😅)
I just noticed the little bit at the intro about Kane editing the video. I like that! I think it'd be nice if other UA-camrs added that to their videos
Anyone else notice that Arlo picked the perfect Metroid music to go along with this video?
10:58 that was adorable.
Can't wait for that Switch successor video.
Dude, I love your puppeteering! You've got a talent. The game stuff is awesome too. XD
What puppeteering?
@@GuiItyUniverse yeah, what does he mean ? Arlo isn't a puppet.
It really is super professional. Like you just accept that Arlo is a blue puppet that talks about video games.
How dare you. Just because arlo isn't of the humanoid species, does not make him incapable of being conscious and sentient! He is not a puppet, he is his own person too! 😤
@@Izzak_Beck Exactly!
I can't help but think of what is going on behind the scenes. It takes a lot of work!
He does so well that it makes any comment about Arlo NOT being a puppet relevant!
11:41 It warms my heart seeing Arlo so happy despite being the hardships
Acceptance Stage Arlo really brings a smile to my face
Note that there is no Mario Odyssey successor revealed yet. Will probably be a launch title too.
Metroid prime remastered may have been a way to gauge whether metroid is viable as a launch title (i.e. if it has enough hype and interest)
I absolutely agree
Happy to see more Metroid Prime 4 content 😄I haven't watched your videos in a while because I'm trying to avoid TotK spoilers (stopped watching trailers when the Gameplay Trailer came out), but I still love your channel and the way you talk about stuff! Love you ♥
i absolutely adore arlo. so well-reasoned and fun to listen to. I usually go several months without watching your videos, but when i get in the mood, I'm always happy to find hours worth of content to dive into.
Hahaha!! That ending truly is a revelation in the Arlo predictions!!
Great video! Seems like launching the next system with MP4 would sell units fast. Or since Nintendo's been successful dropping cross-platform launch games in the past, maybe the Switch and its successor will get versions of Prime 4.
That ending was fantastic! I love the animated, victorious dash off screen!!
Prime 4 is definitely on its way. Nintendo sat on the Prime Trilogy remasters for literal years. They intended to release them to build hype for MP4 but then it had to be restarted so they held off releasing the Trilogy. Now that Prime 1 Remastered came out I think it's safe to say we're getting closer.
My favorite series on the Internet: Arlo talks about Metroid!
I’m definitely less worried now because of Prime Remastered, but man, this nearly six years of waiting has been the most painful wait of my life! With how long it’s taking to come out, this better be one of the greatest games Nintendo has ever released!
I prefer his Pikmin talk but Metroid’s a close second
Imagine if Prime 4 and a new F-Zero were the two biggest launch titles.
I've discovered an Easteregg/Hint for Prime 4! In the Metroid Prime Remastered gallery under Extras, World Remastered - the 10th slide shows Samus in a T-Pose, in the echoes/corruption Varia Suit!
I agree with this as well. It would also explain the lengthy gap between mainline Super Mario games if they are holding one for Switch 2 (or whatever it will be called) launch.
I love how as Nintendo fans we’ve gotten so used to Nintendo’s hardware being so behind that so casually Arlo says “in line with a PS4/Xbox1 game” referring to Nintendo’s *next* gen system 😅
I’ll be curious to see what they do next.. whether we actually get something capable, or if it will rely solely upon some gimmick like most of Nintendo’s systems.
I mean if u look at most of Nintendo’s systems, they HAVEN’T been gimmick based. NES, SNES, 64, Gamecube versus Wii, WiiU, and Switch (which is only like half gimmick because there is little that game developers need to adapt for outside of general speed and power). So its 50/50. And if a Switch2 Comes out that is as strong as a PS4 that would be ridiculously cool and unlike anything else
What were the linchpin gimmicks propping up Nintendo consoles besides 3DS, WiiU, and Wii? Even those never relied "solely" on a gimmick to succeed.
I’d rather have good games than good systems
tbh i'd just be down for the next console being a beefier switch.
@@jonasking9587 ds had 2 screens/touch screen. Dsi, camera and internet.
That 4 appearing in every thumbnail because it's literally the only thing there is is so funny
I love that you had the most banger of bangers from the Prime soundtrack playing in the background the whole time.
I kind of figured that as well about a year ago. Same thing I think with the next 3d Mario. They could’ve released it like 3 years ago, but they are waiting for the next console to make it a launch title. Imagine if we have a 3d Mario and Metroid Prime 4 at launch or within the first year. That would be nuts.
Yeah I have been thinking the same thing for awhile Arlo. Only thing is I think they will pull a BOTW and release it on both platforms
This video benefits us all. Now that Arlo has written off an announcement, Nintendo can do what they do best and defy all expectations by announcing it… at the next Nintendo Direct.
I do think that's likely. Next direct will be in or after June, zelda will be out, and they'll need a new big game to release.

Ah, wonderful. A new Arlo video. Just in time for my lunch break.
You done did it AGAIN, Arlo. Your ramblings captivated me for minutes on end. And informed. And entertained. I just HOPE N's next console supports VR...
Imagine VR Metroid Prime... Mmmmmmm
Or Pokemon. *Salivates*
I wouldn't count on it but it's fun to dream. That would be outstanding
@@willwunsche6940 They flirted with VR in the 3DS. "RE Revelations" and "LoZ OoT" are two fave games that were VeRy immersive! They seem to have forgotten 3D, but the recent rise of VR gaming should prod them into including VR in their next console. Next-next console?!
@@bokuboke482 I love the 3D in the 3DS! I was one of the few that always played with it on. Have good memories of OoT3D.
I think you forget they made the Virtual Boy, which's technically a VR console 😂. The Switch has several VR compatible modes in games like Smash Bros Ultimate and Mario Kart 8 Deluxe to name a couple. This is despite the awful resolution ppi, refresh rate, pixel smoothness, ghosting, and response time of the normal Switch screen for VR and relatively low power.
I doubt we will see something as good as the PSVR2 or a high end PC gaming headset but they still have the potential to make something pretty cool that would be really fun. They could easily beat something more budget like the Meta Quest 2 if they wanted.
Worth noting the Steam Deck a technical marvel PC gaming handheld console that has already past 3 million units sold, "only" has around the power of a last gen PS4. Even though it's already year old and many more powerful gaming handhelds have released since then, it was heavily subsidized and sold at a loss for $400-620. So we'd be more looking at a VR with the performance of the PSVR 1 upgraded if Nintendo were to make one but with much more modern tech
I am guessing the next console Nintendo makes will be $450-500. I don't blame them for wanting to wait longer to release a new platform as every year they wait the tech gets much better. I just hope the screen will have a higher refresh rate like 75hz I think that'd be cool
@@willwunsche6940 I'm another 3DS owner who always played with the slider up. Been a fan of stereoscopy since my teens. The 3D was in fact the reason we invested HEAVILY from 2011 to just last year in N's humble handheld. The immersion factor was awesome, despite the lo-tech under the hood. A PSVita would've been so much better with glasses-free 3D!
Aside from retro gaming, I'm into (pun?) VR gaming experiences. Not on PC, though that'd be the most immersive (and $$$$$). PSVR, and soon PSVR2. "RE7VR" and "Moss" are two great games!!
Yes, I noticed N's half-hearted forays into VR with the papery contraption that fit around the original Switch. Didn't own the Switch, so had little interest in that. I'm hopeful N will see the squiggly glowing writing on the wall and give us a real VR option next time.
Cheers!
Thankyou Arlo for embodying all the hype and joy of Metroid that literally none of my friends who play videogames have ever expressed. I don't mind waiting for the next console, and in the meantime, they can just release the other two Prime Remasters while we wait, lol.
I think you're right, it just makes sense for it to be released alongside or near a new console given how long it's been. Though I think they'd want to make it cross-gen to take advantage of the largest possible audience. As you said, Metroid needs all the help it can get.
Given the great performance of past Prime games, they'd likely put a lot of focus into proper scalability. That way it has solid Switch performance while still taking advantage of the power on the next system. I imagine that would add quite a bit to the development time if that is the case.
Dang, Arlo, I was _really_ hoping you would say, "You hear that? It's the winds of change."
Good video!
My biggest metroid prime hope currently is that they remaster 2 and 3, as someone who adores 2d metroid, and only played prime with the remaster, I need more, I need more.
Corruption is underrated as hell. the beginning Meta Ridley fight is like Gandalf and the Balrog, and the descent into hell sets up the whole rest of the game. incredible settings too.
@@miracle_grrrl_mira yeah people harp on Corruption and they’re technically right about it’s flaws but.. I still replayed it like 10 times. There’s something about it that makes it super replayable to me.
@@solomon9655 honestly my main issue with Corruption was just that it was a bit different from the first 2 (not having multiple weapon options is my main issue with it) beyond that it's honestly the one that would be my favourite *in concept*.

Yea after Arlos last Prime 4 video I had this thought in my head for a while. The switch is in its final cycle, and I think Tears of the Kingdom is gonna be Nintendos last triple A title for the system. Not to mention they practically have nothing after July. Mayyyybe Prof Layton will drop in the fall or something but Layton isn't a massive franchise. Mario also, everyone was wondering when the next mario game is coming. Every next gen system has always had at least 1 mainline Mario game. Mario 64, Sunshine=GameCube, Galaxy 1&2=Wii, 3D World=Wii U, Odyssey=Switch. So i think both Prime 4 and the next Mario game are gonna be brand spanking new games for the next generation of Nintendos console. As for Zelda, I'm almost certain they're gonna make a version for both the Switch and whatever next gen console they're making for Tears of the Kingdom. They did it with BoTW, im sure they'll do it here too. I HOPE Prime 4 is a launch title bc Metroid is unfortunately may not be massive franchise to Nintendo, but the fans....the FANBASE is massive. And after the release of both Dread and Prime Remaster, the base grew even more with brand new fans. So yea, it's win win
I agree I think they will make MP4 launch title and a mario the holiday game (assuming it doesn't release this year)
The number 4 and 5 headshots of Arlo. What a thumbnail 😂
At 7:29 it should be noted that as beautiful as Prime Remastered looks, there are some effects from Samus's shots that were ommitted on Switch. When you shoot, the energy shot no longer illuminates the area it travels through. Not a huge deal, but I'd like to see that effect in Prime 4 after all these years. Hoping it's not a hardware issue, and just something they didn't have time to work on in the remaster
Despite being a rabid fan of the Prime series this is actually something I never noticed. Its funny you mentioned this though cause up until this remaster, prime 1 had lost the charge beam effects from the different beams from the gamecube version when the game was converted to motion controls for wii in japan and what we subsequently played in the trilogy version allllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllll those years ago. I guess they decided to make a trade.
Arlo you need to cover this Gary Bowser story, dudes having to pay 25-30% income ‘for the rest of his life’, that’s legit worse then some way way bigger crimes. The court is using him to set an example and it’s extremely cruel and unusual based on what he actually did.

I feel so emotionally in sync with Arlo.
It's like his inner child and adult are perfectly in sync.
Arlo is going through his character arc LMAO. If Nintendo is taking this long, this game must be quite a ride. And I reeeeally hope it is.
Honestly, I hope the next console really focuses on the console experience itself, what I mean is not just the fun interactivity like how well switch does it (portability, detaching controls etc) but I just wish it is like the good old 3DS days. It was just sooo fun to wander in the menu! The themes, the music that comes with the themes, the programs like the AR Games and more.

I’m kind of sick of this “a rushed game is bad forever” thing. Sure that’s true, but there IS such a thing as making people wait for too long for a game.
I don’t know a lot of people who are as excited for Tears of the Kingdom as they were back in 2021, for example. Eventually, your audience will start losing interest and moving on to other things.
I've been thinking this for a while too. Especially with how successful Prime remaster was, I bet they green light 2 and 3 remasters and then the timing could line up nicely with a new system, letting prime 4 be a launch title.
I feel for you man. I've been waiting on the winds of winter for a dozen years now and we keep making up new reasons why it's taking so long.
Bruh there's no way i got a switch in 2018 for Metroid Prime 4 and i'm not even getting Metroid Prime 4 😭😭😭😭
Damn that sucks
Haven’t you been playing other games on switch
Arlo you should really look into what happened to Gary Bowser and Nintendo and make a video about it.
There is another Bowser working for Nintendo? That's really weird to happen twice.
"If i had a nickle for every time a real person with the last name 'Bowser' was related to Nintendo, I would have two nickels, which isn't a lot...but it's odd that it happened twice, right?"
@@bradyp8868 My thoughts exactly! Kinda sad I didn't think of the quote lol
What makes the most sense about this theory to me is that Metroid Prime is the type of game that I think could be very easy to sell to a lootttt of people if it was marketed correctly. It being one of very few options at launch for the new system (similar to Breath of the Wild was on Switch) would give it a humongous spotlight.
It is kinda funny we got to the same conclusion at the same time, and mostly, for the same reasons. Thanks you Arlo for your amazing content!
I do feel that feeling of being this early to an Arlo video. And MAN it hits different.
lmao yes
I still argue that Samus Returns, Dread and Prime HD makes the wait easier.
The launch title concept is not even a strange idea either.
I remember when the commercials off the Wii came around that they used Metroid Prime to sell Wiis and how its movement system would affect the game.
Metroid Prime on Wii wasnt a launch title but it came not even a year later which is quite early on in the wii's lifecycle
As you started talking, I put the pieces together along with you, and... yea. Prime 4 as a launch title. Makes all the sense in the world. In fact, you could also make the case that a mainline Mario game will accompany it. Mario Odyssey was the last full-scale Mario 3D platformer, and it feels like time for a new one. Mario and MP4 to kick off the next console sounds like a winner.
I theorize Nintendo hates the prime series. They only released the first game to switch and not the other two.
Arlo explaining my thoughts exactly. Been thinking the exact same thing as him for months now and it’s annoying how tons of people are still denying that it’ll skip the switch this late in it’s life
There's no way you've watched the video already.
it wont skip the switch but it will probably launch with next one like botw
I for one am excited for Prime 4 to be announced tomorrow.
...oh, I didn't know a charged shot would flip the plant mirror things until this video..... that fight was much harder than it had to be for me XD
It’s also possible that it’s going to be like BotW where it is a launch title for the next system as well as being on the Switch.
i hope they make the console after the switch backwards compatible
I've finally got around to playing Prime Remastered today and I had the exact same thought. What can 4 do on the switch that is not just 1 again.
I think they are trying to do to Metroid Prime what BOTW did for 3D Zelda. Take the series to whatever the next level is with regard to ambition and scope.
I think that part of the problem is figuring out what it actually is and this requires a lot of design and prototyping. It also makes sense that you keep artists busy with remasteres.
They want to have IPs for teens and adults and Metroid is a perfect choice .
10:24 Also remember that Metroid Dread was the game promoted next to the new OLED Switch
I almost want them to announce Prime 4 coming to Switch tomorrow just to see Arlo's reaction now lol
i almost thought we finally got more news about the game
Always happy to wait for the best version of the game. I also believe in the ‘24 Switch and wouldn’t mind the wait for Metroid Prime 4 to release on that system. Here’s a wrench to throw in your time period prediction: what if they decide (after releasing MP2 and MP3 Remasters (or remasters) on Switch, they release the Metroid Prime Trilogy in ‘24 on Switch 2 and MP4 in ‘25. It wouldn’t be the savviest move, but it wouldn’t surprise me.
Imagine the intro but with the shooting star background. Good times
I look forward to be showed too much on the reveal trailer
Keep up the great videos
2:45 Don't worry Arlo,i understand perfectly,i just gone through some earth shattering myself in the last few days. What a peculiar coincidence.
Oh Arlo, just imagine how I’m feeling about that Beyond Good and Evil sequel that is coming “eventually” for more than 15 years now.
I'm glad you've finally made peace with yourself!
Arlo you really should make a video about the cruel and unusual punishment Gary Bowser is receiving from the courts and Nintendo, especially after your eshop video.
thats what happens when you break the law its totally his fault he got caught but piracy wont die anytime soon anyways its just one guy
@@xtr.7662 I didn’t say he shouldn’t have been punished, but his punishment far exceeds what he actually did, people get less punishment for rape and murder.
I think people are overblowing the unusual nature of the punishment. While it's true that bowser owes a shockingly large amount of money, it's also more than possible for him to find a high paying job given the fact that he played such a crucial role in exploiting a big tech company's security flaws.
@@michaelbecker7288 even if he found a job paying $150,000/year it would still take him 96 years to pay the fine to Nintendo, wtf are you smoking? he also needs to support himself and can’t just save every $ he earns.
@@HogEnjoyer thats because one hacker that endangers an entire company is more dangerous than a guy who commits a violent crime on a nobody unfortunately thats how the justice system works
Dang it you reminded me that it exists. Now I’m going back into anxiousness
Kinda makes sense, because there was an old news articel floating around the Metroid subreddit that allegedly said something to the effect that the Wiimote and Nunchuck were engineered specifically for MP3, and that Retro used their leverage to get the Wii production ready to go before the game launches. Now, unless Nintendo does some extra bonkers controller that makes the WiiU gamepad look casual, I'd say MP4 could be a launch title.
me, reading the title: are you sure about that, arlo? are you really sure? you WILL panic when the first trailer comes out, I can feel it ahahahah
not happening this year.

The Arlo Metroid Prime 4 Despair arc seems to be heading towards its climax.
it's crazy to imagine that there is a very real possibility that the next nintendo console will launch with a mainline mario game, and a new metroid game as well ... and that's the future I choose to believe in.
