The story with the guy spraying the homeless woman. It’s covered the exact same way as the southern border. People who don’t have to deal with this look at it and judge and say how horrible you are. But if it moves into their neighborhood, it’s all of a sudden a humanitarian crisis and it needs to be dealt with. Anybody who thinks this is bad doesn’t understand what it’s like to have a business and deal with something like this and the rent we pay. And if you don’t live on the southern border, you can’t tell people that it’s bad to want a wall just because it doesn’t affect you bring these homeless people to your small, quaint neighborhood see how you feel
I agree 100%, if doing drugs is a illness now, why are they/powers to be not doing anything to help the mentally ill. I’m in Canada and it has ramped up the amount of people lost on the streets, fun bar areas are now intoxicated mentally sick homeless places. Nothing is done, businesses move out, what’s the point if your customers get accosted at the door and with the BLM/ANTIFA screaming at you in the restaurant…..turn the hose on them!😁
The Walgreens in my neighborhood has speakers blasting Classical music (ie the Lone Ranger theme etc) to keep the homeless/beggars away.

I've always been a big fan of the B roll fat footage. Back in the day you could identify people in your community by their shape and clothes they were so rare.

Ace and Fitz are both great storytellers. Fitzy tells MANY different stories though.

It so happens that just last week I had the misfortune of calling around for a residential dumpster. The rules on what landfills won't take without a surcharge will make your head spin. As Adam mentioned, tires are a no-no (you can't even pay a surcharge - they are banned). Mattresses and box springs cost extra as do flat-screen televisions, computers and other electronics.
You can call electronics recycling companies for a good dose of sticker shock. ($75-100 bucks for a tv that originally only cost 300-400).
to add insult to injury, due to Covid, Goodwill, Salvation Army and other thrift stores started getting really picky about what they take.
No wonder you see junk tossed on the side of the road.

What a joy to listen to Fitzie. His tranquility is a nice contrast to his wit. Too many of Adam's guest are loud, obnoxious and interrupters.

😂we just let people know when to put it out on a specific day in an area and a truck and some guys collect nothing but Christmas trees… then the city uses its wood chippers (our taxes did pay for them after all) then the city uses it for trail mulch in parks
I don't have a lot of childhood memories. I do vividly remember my aunt's boyfriend's house having orange shag carpet on the bathroom floor with green shag carpet on the bathroom ceiling. 1987 for context..not that you need more.

This episode is Adam's redemption for shit canning Gina and Bald. I think there are MANY more listening that are happy that Gina or even Bryan were NOT there to pipe in during all the back and forth with Fitzdog, than listeners wanting to hear Gina shoehorn her f*ghag/girl brain worldview every 2 seconds and Bryan ramble away incoherently. And to be honest, just like rewatching a good movie or rereading a favorite book, I like hearing Adam retell some stories and thoughts they were great the first time and love the subtle embellishments changes he makes with different guest/situations. I will take that over typical podcast banter from other popular podcasters. We love the ACS and listen/watch for Adam, of course he made Gina and Bryan look passable as on air talent. I like Chris and I am stoked for him and his family that he is probably getting a bump and on air experience. Personally I think a straight man staying in his lane is the only help Adam needs on air. And Chris is already with only 2-3 shows in getting the hang of the news. Gina had an entire career of experience and just phoned in headlines. Give Chris some more time I bet he starts doing the sound effects/drops and news. You can get Gina and Bryans level anywhere on crappy radio or failing podcasts, but there is only one Adam Carolla. Entertainment rarely has the golden parachute retirement that Gina and Bryan were counting on...Adam just saved both of their salaries from his bottom line, how can you blame him? Adam is the CFO, CEO and the talent!

I love Adam. But I think Jimmy throws whatever jokes Adam writes away or just hits delete. I think he’s just throwing him a bone. It’s almost embarrassing hearing Adam talk about it I would love to hear Jimmy talk about it but that would never happen. Again, love you Adam. Show us a joke that you wrote that was on air. He’s just throwing them away even if they were good.

They say female comedians can’t do a stand up act without talking about their vagina. I think I might be seeing a version of that with “POC” comedians and race.
I hear more about race now than I ever did in the 90’s to early 2000’s.
Watch some re-runs of the old Def Comedy Jam shows in the 90's. Every joke was about race. The typical structure of a joke would be to describe the way black people perform an activity which is usually described as "cool" or "smooth" and to compare it to the way that white people perform that same activity which would typically be described as awkward or goofy, thereby generating an exaggerated howl of laughter from the mostly black audience. Very formulaic with few comedians having any kind of real comedic range.
