- Finally an ITB kit that will be able to bolt straight on and drive. Just needs a bit of development but we will get there. If you have any ideas that may help please leave a comment.
I still miss my starlet when going around, there so many of them still around in Belgium.

Nice video Matt... Always wondered what a turbo 4 or 5 would be like with ITB's. Im sure u can get s plenum sorted out to fit. Keep em coming. Btw.. finally made 303 on 20 psi 90 octane.. its on my channel.😎Cheers

awesome build, love the engineering behind all of this, any thoughts on making something for the 2nd gen 4afe, a kit like this with some nice cams would rip in a 4afe! keep up the great work!

I love all those tps bolt holes and there isnt 2 that work for the toyota tps haha. Good work as always boys.
They are a generic set so the itb part is able to bolt to any adaptor they also make… once we perfect the design it will only have one set of holes
Totally. I thought it was smart having all the bolt patterns. Its typical the orientation is not what was drilled. I make some car parts too so i know how hard it is to get to a sell-able part. Nice work mate. @@MattBerrymotorsport

Would this work for a 95’ Tercel? Would I need to tune it with the ITBS installed ?
The bracket for the vacuum block should be different. When running this with a strut bar the bracket will interfeer. Sounds super cool tho!

Hey Matt what have you done with the air idle control valve wehn I had itbs on my 4e it ran like shit with it un plugged
I just have it unplugged as it doesn’t work anyway. Manual adjust the itb
have you ever lightened an oem 4efte flywheel? if so, how many kgs you took off?
Nah but I have bought an after market lightened flywheels it’s about 3kg lighter… doesn’t really make any noticeable difference to performance… for that reason I’d never lighten a stock one and risk making it weaker

Get a c160 gearbox, or change the final drive gear in the gearbox. Will help a lot

This seems a bit like building up a D16 Honda engine, and so I just have to ask, why? A 4G63, K20, F20c, 2JZ, 1JZ, RB26, 3S-GTE I get, why this engine?
Worse than a d16 I reckon 😂
We play with these purely because all those great engines you listed are so expensive now days and the engines we play with are still cheap and very easy to work on.

Hey @matt have you run this setup on a dyno yet? Is there much difference over stock?
Nah we haven’t tested on dyno but to be completely honest you will probably lose low to mid range and maybe get 2 hp gain in the top end.
The main difference though is it sounds incredible. One set of cams and you’re then making another 40+hp

How does the ac work??
An air conditioner uses refrigerant contained within its system to absorb excess heat from a room, which it then pumps out through a system of pipes to an outside coil. A fan is used to blow ambient air over this hot coil that contains the refrigerant, transferring the heat from the refrigerant to the outdoor air.

@@Lani100HD How much do they cost? I assume it'll need a tuneable ecu right?
Yes I have a 2nz adaptor. Only problem is it doesn’t suit DBW. If your 2nz has a cable throttle, then we can make this a direct fit that will run on stock ecu. Aftermarket ecu only required if you’re putting bigger cams in your engine or changing fuel.

@@DimZin Will be around $1500 aud. We are looking at getting carbon/fibeglass air boxes, you can connect the maf to that.

What is it about these engines you love ?
i dont like them because of design, i love them cause of cost and cheap to modify and very easy to work on.
The cylinder heads are junk, blocks are under square.
Just cheap fun really compared to modding a honda 4 cyl.
