Loved these Deutschland 83, 86 & 89.Don't know why they didn't like 83 in Germany, I liked that season alot.

So do I. But he’s not really that integral is he
His aids subplot was nice as a callback to the aids crisis, since this is an 80s peroid spy drama; but overally really didn't add any of the plot, really the only thing he added to 86 was him being one of the victims of the bombing.
