A little safety PSA, I'm a Canadian that has worked a lot with tools when its cold out, you have to be careful using power tools while wearing gloves, its not uncommon for peoples gloves to get caught in tools and rip a finger off. Seeing you wear a glove while using a hole saw with pretty large holes on the side if the blade, made me squirm. I'm not trying to tell you how to use your own tools, but I know a couple guys that have lost their fingers that way and I had to mention it for the sake of my conscience.
My brother is a machinist by trade and he had some horror stories. If that drill press was any bigger or stronger I would have been barehanded or use some sort of Jig, but that ryobi is a little baby weakling.
Zeos, it doesn’t matter how powerful or under powered tools are. They all have a tremendous amount of torque. I’ve heard of guys having their hand skin peeled off and left in the glove
@@ZReviews I'm a paramedic and I can say with anecdotal experience that you do not want to have gloves on with any power tool. Even a cordless Ryobi hand drill can literally break your fingers if the glove catches. Seriously. Just make a habit out of popping your gloves off before you turn a tool on, just like you'd unplug the tool before changing the blade.
If you are someone who annoys a forum or subreddit with Crinacle graphs about the headphones you hate that other people enjoy.... Then every zeos review is bad.
I bought a pair a while back just to see how terrible they were. They’re wired in mono and the build is so terrible that I’m afraid if I sneeze with a pair on my head they might shatter. They sit on my headphone wall right next to my Phillips in shame 😂 can’t wait to see you rip them apart!
Still into budget listening, just ordered SHP9500S's. It's very hard to get regular ones in Poland, probably because they are an old model... But I'm gonna get them while I can. And Yea, I know I could invest a little more and get something better. Buuut xD You're talking to a man who's 1st experience with semi to fully opened headphones was Samson's sr850's. I'm easy to please, I still love these and the dreaded headphone dimishing returns didn't hit me yet :) God bless ya Z, You and Dankpods are the reason I got into investing in something better, than whatever lies on the shelves.
ZEOS. Firstly, enjoyed watching you tear these dookers apart lmao. Secondly, there may be a solution to the NDH 20 pads. You've probably heard that the NDH 30's are out. On Neumann's website, the pads look like a slightly bigger, thicker, more luscious NDH 20 pad. These might be the only chance at a more comfortable pad that doesn't drastically change the signature. I called Sennheiser USA and eventually got through to the parts guy (think his name is Bruce, he's cool af). Basically he said that the 30's are hella new, and once they come in, it should be just a few weeks before the pads/other parts are in stock. Dude. If you can get your hands on the NDH 30 pads (maybe the headphones themselves too??) I am just dying to see if they help the 20's. These headphones are magical, but the fatigue is so unfortunate
They are now on Walmart for like 11 bucks lol... I was looking for an actual pair of SHP9500's under 100.00 in 2024... I did receive my Meze 99's today and omg they are aggressive pleasure cans!
I removed the outer aluminum cup from the crappy behringer 770 knock offs..and moved the foam to cover the holes.. and they're now almost enjoyable as open backs.
Hey man, Are you planning to review Edifier STAX SPIRIT S3 over-ear planar bluetooth headphone? I would be really interested to hear your opinion. Cheers.
Maybe not the best video to ask this but this is the newest video. So I have a pair of Mackie MC-450s and I absolute adore them and their flatness however in the last 1.5 years I have had to send them in for 3 repairs, now today they have gone faulty again admittign a buzzy noise at certain frequencies. Everytome I do this is costs me £25 to send them back so these have now cost me an extra £100 over the space of 2 years. I need to find a replacement for them, something that has a very similar sound signature, can ZEOS or anyone else recommend some cans?
As an owner of the Fidelio X1, X2, and X2hr, I have never liked the shp9500. I would gladly pay the extra $ for the upgrade in sound and build quality. They are, "fine," but not the 5 star wunderkind that everyone makes them out to be. However, I believe you when you say the Magnavox version is terrible.
Burn in the stock cable separately then burn in the headphones with a different cable. The bass will come back buttery and the soundstage will be soooo spacious. I thought this was pretty obvious but I guess some folks just don't know how to get good audio.
gotta burn in the pads too dude, huge different in timbre naturality and adds low end extension. if possible on different ear/head shapes, loan it out to ur friends and family for a bit.
I burned it it with a Square wave tone at 140db and after 136 hours it did improve the transients in the mid-bass to almost perfect Harmon levels. I was super impressed. Then I applied a fatty acid soak to soften the outer insulation which not only made the cable flexible and straight but unlocked all the potential keeping the 840-3,240hz range in a stagnant factory state. I could swear Luther Vandrose was singing right inside me after the treatment. I also took LSD which helped a fair amount with the overall sound.
@@nyan4x Thanks. I hear wearing it while sleeping significantly improves the musicality. In fact it's said that if you're a side sleeper and you sleep with it then it'll beat out the SHP9500 after a few nights.

Stopped watching the video to buy a pair to repair my shp9500. Thank you Zeos!
Love a good zeos review (this implies there are bad ones but I certainly can't think of any)

Music identified at 07:55: Arkham Bridge, from the OST for the PC game Mechwarrior 2 --- from 1995!
ik from older videos Z has MechWarrior in his library ,but nice ears on hearing that from the video

Worth a half an hour, just for that beauty ring mod on the drill press. The headphone massacre is extra content.

This would be a fun new segment, honestly. Just destroying trash a/v gear via drill press
"Slight modifications"
Drill full of holes, into the fire pit. Properly modded.

How would you feel if they handed you these as a free set on a plane vs what they give out now?

Hi Z, Don't mean to get off topic but what's the best headphone to wear on an airplane?
A good ANC. I use the bose QC45 but there are cheaper alternatives I have reviewed. The Final 3000's for example.
Please review superlux HD 681
Shp9500s are $45 refurbished on woot right now btw.
i haven't heard of magnavox in years
Maybe close the backs of the SHP9500 and see if you can make them terrible
would you say the 9600 are worth it for 60 dollars?
just get koss kph40
oh hey, the perfect gaming headset 😏
Don’t do what ‘Donnie Don’t’ does
“They’re as far as I’m concerned, broken”
Keep it on the wall just for the sheer ridiculousness. Right next to the SHP9500s
i remember seeing these last year on some shady looking website.. lol glad i didnt spend the $30..
"Magnavox on the other hand have 6 ratings. That's this many ✋👈 " [angry Zeos is my favourite Zeos]
if the pads dont change sound zeos i would get them since i need new pads gotten nasty over the years
This is probably a cheap copy from another source. Fun review, will avoid!
Im wondering if its closed because the QC is so bad that they cant ensure that it doesnt stay open on each pair
All of us should buy them, then return them lol
They're $11.99 now 😂

Fuck me a bad review? That's a rarity.
If you watch to the end I sort of give them a decent sendoff. But it took bodily risk.
@@ZReviews ye you bubbad them into being good and that's even funnier
Watched far enough and holy fuck did you bubba them into sounding good
hilarious 😂😂
