25 years in Vegas, some of it working at the Flamingo, a cat named after Bugsy and I still learned a bunch of new stuff. Your research is so well done and so well presented. Great job as usual! 🎲📸🤠
Great vlog Jordan. I read a book on Jimmy Stewart. Stewart did not like Ben Siegel and was not afraid to tell him this to his face. Jimmy also tried to warn other famous movie stars like Cary Grant to stay away from him. When people tried to warn Stewart that he could be in danger for bad mouthing Siegel. Stewart stated to tell him to take his best shot.
I can't tell you how much I enjoy and look forward to your videos. It lets me hear stories and see places that never in a million years would I see. You are such a nice person and don't ruin your videos with a bunch of unnecessary F-bombs. Thanks again and greetings from Rhode Island.
Entertaining and insightful, sir. As detestable as he is reported to be, there would be no Las Vegas as we know it without him. The true arbiter of Vegas nightlife. I remember the Warren Beatty-Annette Bening "Bugsy" movie. Will have to rewatch it. 👍👍
Oh, how sweet to see the Jahster! What an amazing dog. Love your imaginative 'mask' against the scurge! Really appreciate your historical dig on the depths of Bugsy's eventual events that lead to his death. You have such a rich historical video collection of old Hollywood that I find hard pressed to find anywhere else on UA-cam. One of a kind. Keep going! Thank you!
My grandfather was a piano player/lyricist/voiceover actor/radio announcer in Hollywood and when my father went to see him at the piano bar, he sat down with his father with Bugsy Siegel and Virginia Hill to have dinner together. Bugsy and my grandfather knew one another. One of Siegel's guys, Mickey Cohen, had a wife named Yvonne, and she attended my grandfather's stepdaughter's wedding.
Can’t stop watching your shorts Jordan you rock my friend! I’m more fascinated by these tales than actually meeting a real movie star... we need to pinch one another for being weirdos! Love you man!
Hello Jordan, You have been a source of comfort and an incredible amount of information. I have watched and liked hundreds of your videos this week, while beginning my recovery. Thank you for all your passion and joy with your VLOG. I am entering Rehab tomorrow so I will miss the next 30 days of your videos. It will motivate me to recover quick and complete so I can rejoin you and Jah... Thank you again and don't change a thing
Thank you for the great vlogs! I just saw the Doris Day video, and it was wonderful! My dad was a dental technician starting in the 50's, and he knew the man who did Doris Day's teeth! He loved Doris Day as a teenager. Nate and Al is regularly frequented by Carl Reiner and Mel Brooks - they eat dinner a lot together. I bought a book Carl Reiner wrote off of his website and asked for it to be autographed to my two boys and I and he actually sent THREE books, each autographed to us. Such wonderful people. Thanks! Much love - stay safe! :)
Wonderful vlog Jordan. Jah will be happy chappy now he has new home and the dog parks are open. Hollywood's looks strange being so quiet. I love all the mob stories from the golden age of Hollywood
Jordan, an interesting presentation of the history of these people. I grew up with many references being made to THIS Virginia Hill, as that is also MY name. I’m new to your channel but I think I have already watched most of your vlogs. I hope you and Jah are both settled into your new home and enjoying it. Thank you for entertaining and enlightening us, particularly during this time of self-isolating.
There’s a really cool museum in downtown Las Vegas nicknamed “the mob museum” - the actual name is quite long. It’s very fascinating and I was able to purchase a book called Five Families. It’s mostly about Italian mafia, but there is a lot of back story of Irish and Jewish mafia as well.
That was very interesting and I learned a lot about Bugsy that I did not know before. I always learn so much in your blogs! So glad the dog park was open! It’s so fun to see Jah going there to play and run around with his friends! I’m glad that he is your main focus! He’s an absolutely adorable dog!!
I was on the Gangster Tour in Chicago and honestly feel your research is much better! Thank you, Jordan! So happy Jah can enjoy the dog park once sgain!
I grew up in the SF Valley Granada Hills and lived in Hollywood for many years working in the entertainment industry. I've gotta admit that I've been peeking at Hollywood through you and your camera for the last year or so and it's been lots of fun!! I live in Mexico now but was working live shows in San Diego next door with the Union until this Covid event took place. Gonna miss you being in Hollywood but you gotta live your life.. You still shoulda asked my permission tho!! Thanks for the great videos. You really do your homework!!
I always stay at The Flamingo in Vegas and has no idea about the history. This was an interesting and informative vlog that had my attention. Wonderful job!
A stone pillar, bearing a plaque with his details, stands behind the resort's flamingo habitat and waterfalls, across the lawn from the Garden Chapel. I have never seen it in person, but you can look online or maybe ask someone next time you are there.
As usual, your on top of your game Jordan with the facts, and trivia. Just another awesome job, loved watching it. Thank you Jordan and Jah... p.s. in these crazy and difficult times were living in your vlogs are enjoyable and entertaining and a little break from the Madness, Thank you guys so much.
Interesting vlog! What a fascinating man Siegel was! Regardless of his criminal background, he was one of the first to see what Las Vegas could become. Thanks for sharing his story, Jordan!
Really great video I have never heard the actual true story of what happened to Benjamin Bugsy Siegel how he died or any of the things that you revealed ! Have a great moving day Jordan and I hope it suits you with a good change of environment😎
Hi Jordan, well, that has made my day, I'm so pleased that the dog parks have re-opened and Jah can see his buddies again. I wonder if Louis B Mayer and the other bosses at MGM knew about what was going on in their studios. I am surprised that Cary Grant was friends with Bugsy. Great vlog Jordan.
I just watched a docuseries on Murder Inc. on amazon it was so good. your vlog is great I used to read alot of books on the subject and you still had some facts I haven't heard before. stay safe
Thanks a lot for these videos. Really great for you to keep the history alive for younger generations and to document the current pandemic for posterity. Also, Jewish tradition concerning death involves no embalming, with the body placed jn a plain pine box with holes. Cremation is not encouraged.
Great vlog. Knew a little bit about Bugsy before. Learned a lot about him today from you. Never knew how he got his nickname. I always thought he was killed in Las Vegas. Thank you for telling us about him. You got out of LA just in time. A lot of rioting going on last night. Hope you and Jah are enjoying your new home. Hope it’s in a safe neighborhood. Be safe. God bless you and Jah and watch over and continue to keep you safe. 😊
It is so fascinating to me that people are still worshiping someone such as Bugsy Siegel to this day. Even gone he is remembered as a celebrity of his time rather a dangerous gangster. It also blows my mind the need for someone to comment on your windshield! Love the stuff you find and you tell it well, Jordan! Thank you!!!
Hi Jordan so glad that the dog parks r open for you and jah this is all so weird at least some places r open for you to vlog really pleased for you getting out of your appartment and getting a new one hopefully you will be more settled there and jah will like it hopefully you will have a bit more space love this vlog very interesting stay safe and well

I always enjoy when the story ends with these jerks getting taken out. They live their lives taking advantage of everyone and steal peoples money. Good riddance Bugsy.
One of the best parts of your video is the pooch ! Never stop video taping your little friend ! He really has his own personality , the looks you get some mornings says a lot ! Lol
I am sad for all my California friends & family. You have a struggle and my prayers are with all you beautiful people. Stay strong California ! Keep up the good work Brother.

Wow Jordan! I've heard about Bugsy, all of my life! I knew that he was a friend of George Raft; but did not know that he did "Shake Downs at 10 years old!" Also, I did not know that he lead a double life, with his family and Virginia Hill! She had to have had some cold water running in her veins! Her home was beautiful! If walls could talk! Also I saw a picture of his demise, on the inside of that home! Thank you for a thorough vlog! One of your best! ⭐🎬⭐

And those weak women leaving kiss prints on the crypt, ugh 🙄.
Agreed ...not sure these types of people are venerated. Bugsy was a homocidal thug and he got the ending that was coming to him

Women seek predator type A-males. They're wired for it. I bet the clearest lipstick kisses are at least decades old.

Why would Cary Grant be Bugsy's friend? How is it that Jimmy Stewart was so anti Siegel? The history is so fascinating. Ugly but fascinating.
