Definitely need that VR30 tuned. Especially in “300 HP” trim it’s almost a waste to do FBO without tuning. The base cars are just severely detuned from the factory to make the power difference in the RS cars be significant despite using all the same hardware.
@@TheHybridQ50S Yea I figured that was the case. It’ll be quite a different race once he’s all dialed in lol. Those hybrid Q’s still always amaze me though. I get why they used the smaller VQ35 because their goal was efficiency but seeing them in action always makes me think what a little monster a Q would be with the NA cars VQ37 bolted to that hybrid drivetrain package.

Hey, man, I've been following your channel for a while. Mostly because I was interested in buying a Q50S Hybrid. I'm about to get a '19 (November) Q50S AWD Sport (so it has the big brakes from factory). It's also an European version, as I live in Europe. I see everywhere that the smallest wheel & tyre package is 19" 8.5J ET50 wheels (OE specs) with 245/40/ZR19 tyres. But I was wondering whether there's any possibility of fitting 18" wheels for the winter season - of course, with the right wheel specs so it doesn't scrub the big brakes caliper). Any ideas? Thanks a lot and keep running it like you do! ✌
