Remember - nuts are rich in calories - so moderation is key - I use around 12-15 nuts altogether for this drink.

Added this to my diet for the past 3 days. I am not yet sure if my gut is happy yet. But thanks to you. Thats such a tasty drink even without milk and honey. Don’t forget to remove the dates seed before soaking.

Pal Anna one suggestion, soak chia, flex, dates, pumpkin seeds together but soak nuts like almonds, walnuts separately and throw water and peel of almond skin before you run smoothie. I add a spoon full of oats, small piece of avocado/ banana and sometimes two spoons plain ragi malt to this smoothie.
Agree, also instead of dates and figs, much better option is Coconut. Making a smoothie with milk and adding fruits as sweetener should not be advised because Coconut will do complementary for both of these.

I thought the same. Almonds and Walnut need to be soaked separately and not to used soaked water. How come dr. Pal didnot mention this!
I am drinking this every day morning for past 4 months.

It’s better if u eat it instead of a smoothie. When u chew food ur saliva starts digesting it in ur mouth. That helps break it down completely. So u get to absorb everything inside. maximum benefits 😉

What works for you may not work for all. By God's grace I am healthy with simple cost effective diet at 70. Thanks be to God for helping ordinary people like me to be blessed by peanuts. Almonds. Curds. Buttermilk. Ragi. Rice. Wheat Flour. Raja. Greens. Bananas. Guavas.. rasam.... vegetables. Your recipe is great for the wealthy people. Walking ➕️ ordinary exercises ➕️ house chores and gardening. May God bless us all.
I don't find anything wealthy in that. It is just some dry fruits, if planned in proper manner would last for a month in 1k, well it is cost of a dress or a night dinner with friends or a day of nonveg or may be anything. we just customised to call ourselves poor that's all. You don't need to eat a packet of almonds, 5 are enough for a day, 1 anjeer, a walnut and a tbsp of chia seeds. Milk is always available in kitchen, the one you add for tea or coffee you add into the smoothie.

You can't drink the water which you used to soak nuts as the Phytic acid in dry fruits hinders the consumption of nutrients in the body. Better to remove the water, wash all the nuts again and then use them for the preparation of smoothy. Hope you got my point.

Agreed. Except for raisins, figs and maybe a couple of other fruit nut, it is not healthy to use the water in which tree nuts (i.e cashews, almonds, pista etc) are soaked!

Sir please note raw fruits and milk are not good combination for digestion. Rather roasted nuts or soaked nuts grinded to powder and used in pre boiled milk (not canned) 1:2 tsp will give better results and help digestion and absorption.
I had difficulty digesting canned whole milk and I personally boil it and drink
U should know that in America milk will be boiled 1st and then only they will deliver

Thank you, I thought I was going wrong way. Being using this past 2 years as my primary breakfast everyday after 12 hrs of fasting…but I add oats, chia seeds, flax seeds, almond, walnuts, apple/pear/berries/bananas and 2 dates for sweetness…
This gives a glow on hair...skin texture became soo good..... Have seen visible results by having this for a month

Instead of milk, I use to add one apple and blend to make a smoothy. Very tasty and healthy 😋 👌
My mom gives similar mixer of soaked dry fruits of almonds(3), walnuts(2), pistachio(3), raisins(3), fig(2) and fresh cashew nuts(2) 👍 To make it sweet she adds few dates(3). I have it as the first thing in morning after having good amount of water. It tastes wow and awesome to start my day with 😊❤🎉
I have it spoon by spoon and slowly making sure it mixes well in mouth with saliva. I get atleast one burp which makes me happy that it's getting digested well in my stomach 🤩✌️

Sir, I had this, except it was pumpkin seed, sunflower seed, one or 2 almond , 2 dates , few black raisins and one small fig ...... I drank this regularly every morning as breakfast , I didn't soak though ..... One week into this I had a lot of hair fall.... 2 months now i lost sooo much hair and it's been few days I stopped drinking .. my hair fall has reduced ....
When my hair fall started this was the only thing that was a change in my diet.
Anyone who is reading this , could help me regarding the same

Should we soak pumpkin seeds and sunflower seeds at night? Does it improve their absorption?
I add one tablespoon of oats instead of milk ,a few cranberries, flax seeds,one or two dates for the sweetness factor and one apple/ pomegranate. I feel full till lunch and my system has never been better. One doubt though, arent chia seeds a source of protein?
Without milk, wont it be powder form?..
Awesome! Only thing is that it is pretty high in oxalates which can disturb some people’s sleep, joints, and muscle soreness.
That's y u soak the nuts and discard the water, soaking chia removes oxalates

Dr. I read that consuming fruits and nuts in the form of juice wouldn’t be as healthy as eating whole nuts/fruits. Whats your take on this with respect to this recipe ?
Doc. I’m doing it from last 3 months but little different. Almond, walnut, pista, dry grape, fig, dates, chia seeds, flax seeds, sunflower seeds, pumpkin seeds but I don’t add milk and honey but it still tasty 😋

With moderate cold water and on empty stomach. Not too much of nuts as doc says. 6almond, 3 walnut, 6 pistas, fig and dates makes the drink slight sweet.

Soak the almond and walnut in a separate bowl and throw the water, then peel the almond skin and then use.

the only thing we do different is soak the almond and walnut in a different bowl and raisins, pumpkin, sunflower and chia seeds, Fig , and dates in one bowl . In the morning we put the raisins etc with its water in the blender and the almond one ..we throw the water, peel the almond and make the smoothie :))))) . My mother told me to not to use the water and the peel of Almond
🦉Just Sharing the technique nothing else.
Even I do drink the same with protein powder and yogurt as a post workout drink and instead of chia seeds I use flax seeds

I drink hot water half a litre on empty stomach in the morning..followed by Methi warer abd eat the soaked methi...two raw garlic pearls ➕️ coriander tea......breakfadt....after exercise.

From what I understand when you soak nuts (which is the right thing to do) it releases the phytic acid or the anti nutrients in the water…..so is it advisable to use that same water to make the smoothie? Thanks!

I take this every alternate morning for weight gain. Also I'm doing workout. This helps me to increase my body weight slowly also in healthy way.
Dr. Pls advise castor oil drinking 2 spoons with glass of water that will avoid constipation on weekly basis . This is old indian method might help your american patients
The lactose in the milk and the sugar in the dates especially are going to spike up insulin levels

Hi Mr. Pal, I followed the advice and, even though it's great, I have lactose intolerance. Instead of milk, I added soaked oats, but I'm still experiencing bloating. Is there any specific reason for this and tips for avoiding bloating?
constipation does NOT cause diarhhea.Constipation is when stools pass out very painfully and hard
No doubt it's a great wonderful recipe super powerful drink indeed, just doubt the part where the same water is used, should be thrown away.....chia seeds can be soaked separately and then added to the smoothie instead of grinding it, it would give a good texture to the smoothie....
But what about the cholesterol present in these seeds like pumpkin, sunflower etc? Won't it harm us?
If u sock chiya seed seperately and add after mixed dry fruits that is more beneficial .

I usually add few cashews , almonds, raisins, walnuts,dates, pistas, chia , flag and pumpkin seeds along with milk and a scoop whey protein.
