and to ladder (actually play the game you are casting) in return would help you understand the game and judge the situations better. Perhaps, if you ladder hard enough you might even be able to comment on the game and cast it properly and not just verbally mimic what others say in a cringe-worthy, superficial manner.

I cannot express how good this video was, you explained all the possible scenarios that could arise when playing the build and what you should do to counter it. I'd love to see a hellion reaper marauder drop TvT build or some kind of hellbat push in TvZ

@@crem4x968 chinese sc2 community is vigorous, energetic. But cn server lacks high skill players(5k+mmr), most of them choose kr server for practice and leave cn server as playground for smurfs and cheesers. Btw, due to some policy, cn server launcher cant use foreign language, which may be hurdle too.

reactor on rax - constant marine production
starport after fact
if suspecting DTs, Ebay at 4 minutes (delays 3rd CC)
tech lab on fact - tank
liberator from starport
3rd CC
2nd tank
ATTACK - 2 tanks, 4 SCVs, marines - build bunkers/turrets with push as needed
START UPGRADES
when push goes out - 1 more tank for next push
2 rax (with tech labs - 1 on fact lab)- 2 ebay
2 gas at natural
FOLLOW UP
Armory for 2-2
reactor on starport
reactor on fact for widow mines
2 more rax
continue upgrades
If first push does well, make another push with bio upgrades, widow mines + 1 tank and take 4th
FACTORY - if can't scout - can build hellion and widow mine instead of 2 widow mine
so reaper and hellion can scout tech
STARPORT - dropship first unless vs stargate. then get 1 viking
if they go stargate, don't harass and push with all units together
MINE DROP - don't fully commit unless you know he's not looking. can drop 1 mine or show your dropship to make him keep stalkers defending.

Nice build there. I think most of low league players are struggling against several kinds of toss early bullshit(proxy robo, gateways, cannon rushes etc.) so could you make a video about how to properly defend them?
Ironically all 3 are easier to defend against if you rush to wall off with barracks depot and tech lab. Marauders deal with robotics, barracks wall blocks probe infiltration, and the barracks can spit out marines behind to deal with zealots without retaliation.

@@gcg8187 I mean it was probably meta at some point in the past. Marauders have somewhat dropped off in use due to their lack of speed.

To be honest I wasn't planning on making beginner-focused content but I did include the replays in the description ( and will continue to do so ) so you can analyse the build and the timings slowly if you want to :D

Hi uThermal, great guide. I’m wondering what you would recommend if Protoss went for Twilight Robo but Charge first into Colossi and delayed Blink. If Protoss has 8+ chargelots at the 6:00 timing window, would you still go ahead with the push but bring the forces together? Or use a good sim city to funnel the chargelots between bunkers and terrain if you can get that close? Or could you forgo the timing all together and use the drop / Lib for harass and save the other units for a later push? Lastly, the gold standard of build guides that has been missing since Day9 moved on, was a guide video with multiple replays showing the variations. You certainly have put yourself ahead of most Terran content on YT with the explanation of the variations, so the only thing that could possibly improve this already great content is some extra replays where you show let’s say minute 4:00-6:30 vs Stargate, the DT defense, tactics vs Charge first, etc. But that’s pretty specific. This is already amazing.
If you scout that the Protoss has no gases on his natural with your widow mine drop or reaper its probably safer to stay back, if they have at least 3 gases you might still be able to do some damage even against charge

If you go hellion before mine to scout, do you still build 2 mines? Because that would delay the second tank by the time the hellion is build. And i think the push is a lot weaker with 1 tank instead of 2. Or do you just build the second tank and the push come a bit later?

Make a video on how and when to scout please. I struggle to scout vs Protoss especially, and even If I scout something at first (like a twilight council) I don't know when to scout next and how to react to their follow up, I always die to some random Protoss shit because I don't know what's coming.

@@uThermal Cheers mate! Really helps how you also go into how the other race will respond and how you have to adjust your build. Its more work for you, but it definately makes it a lot easier to replicate for us
Hey Uthermal, is there a variation of this that has an Armory before the drop hits since on the new patch it would require detection?
I don't think you can sneak in an Armory that early and still hit a push at a good timing, if anything you could add an armory after your second tank and have invisible mines for when you attack with the triple prong (Might delay 1/1, stim etc. though)

Holy crap, you was this high in MMR
As a D3 Terran, this is much needed. TvP is my worst MU.
One thing that will score you massive amounts of wins at that league is if you do minedrop, keep your reaper alive and position your minedrop in a good spot, send your reaper into a base other than where your mine drop is and tell him to attack a probe. The moment you know the enmy sees the reaper or you attack a probe send in the mine drop and 9 times out of 10 you will wipe the whole mineral line or at least half of it.
I wonder if there is a similar tactic with zerg... something that can get you a free win against zerg...
Right now I'm doing a hellbat push and if zerg skip banglings or roaches and rush upgrades, which happens a lot in d2 in my experience, you can get a free win.
Any ideas?

I've been trying to execute this build, but each time I was forced to defend against an all-in blink, a stargate proxy, and a proxy robo immortal push. Is it just me or do most protoss on the ladder will all-in.
The 3rd CC time is missing I think.
I can find it, but aren't there any adaptations that can make you not go for it?
Would you say all 3 builds as your standard ladder build would be good to continue to improve and work on mechanics? If not maybe do a video on builds good for that.
I definitely think so. I have been playing the TvT build he showcased for a long time and now and having great success. I've recently been doing the BC opener and it's definitely the best way to open into mech. And this build is a very good build to learn, although I don't play it quite as much (every now and then on Eternal Empire and Nightshade)

Tried this three times lost first to proxy stargate, list 2nd to proxy robo and last lost to huge stalker blink only had one tank with my mibe drop and lib out side base ready to go

Used to make Rax + reactor + nonstop marines, factory + 3 mines, Starport + medivac, and drop mines, insta after 3 mines + medivac I did 2 tech labs + 2 raxes (at some point build 1 ebay), and then just fly over with raxes and get asap stim and shields. Not sure if your build is significantly better. Any comments?
(Diamond 2 Europe Terran that loses everything and feels like quitting not only SC2 but also his life)
Thats a totally different build, you cant compare those :p. I can say however that that build is rather outdated and not that effective anymore
