Brandon curry face doesn’t even change between contest day and off season 😂 you should be able to tell who’s in shape even when they are full clothed , conditioning wise at least.
There are only 2 training videos of dorian! Blood and guts which came out in 95, which is just an hour long, and this one which is just a week out from 96 mr o. This guy was really the shadow!
Dave Kenderdine he'd need some social media, you can't make money in bodybuilding without it now unfortunately. He wouldn't post a lot though only what he would need to.
@@zeroman614 Going so heavy with such full range of motion is definitely what led to those tears. Still, amazing how strict he was. HIT style training will always be my favorite.
@@zeroman614 Man you guys really like to lie/exaggerate don’t you? He tore his biceps in 94 and his triceps in 97, along with a shoulder injury. That’s not tearing “muscles every year”.
@@daedevillewrestling Dorian himself has said that training beyond failure with heavy weights close to a contest, whilst being depleted and dehydrated, was the reason for his injuries. He has also said that looking back, he should’ve trained to failure or a rep short during the final weeks before a contest.
Bruce, you and Mitsuru deserve to be at the most put into the BB hall of fame, there would be no BB videos or a opportunity to look into the past without your guys work. Thank you
Flex in particular had an ego bigger than the size of the earth. Not Dorian. He must have loved the fact that nobody could beat him. I'm sure he loved watching someone like Flex let his ego and lazy training, be the two things that always worked against Flex.

He's 34 here, and looks 50 in the face. Cutler was 36 at his best - was considerably bigger and looked his age. I'd say it's case closed on the whole Heavy Duty debate.
What does the training style have to do with their faces? Lol. I do agree with you though - actually 50 is probably understating it. I've never seen a face that lean
@@turnippatrol4607 Stress and over training wears you out; a lot of bodybuilders in those days looked older than they were, and they psyched themselves out like crazy. Jay cutler has a much more easy going way of training. There is definitely a connection.
@@M1tjakaramazov That's an interesting point. I noticed Yates was talking about injuries he had been dealing with at the start of this video, so he probably was over-stressing his body. That being said, I don't think his appearance in this video is what he typically looked like. He was very flat & over-dieted at the 1996 olympia
Dorian talks about symetrie, but i don't know in which mirror he is looking. This guy is just ugly and no symetrie at all. In that period was in my opinion Kevin Levrone by far the best bodybuilder.
I met him at a seminar shortly after his 96 win.. he was incredible

Yes! This is some of the rarest footage there is!
Yes he was!....and if he was competing today, he would be the same...no social media!
Think there is one more where he trains back in canada before a show.

Lee Haney and Doran Yates rule. Every single word they say is golden.
Beeing from the UK and met dorain a few times now this is a treat

He had some of the best form out of any bodybuilder ✌💯
And still tore muscles every year

OMG.... Dorian yates 🙀.... bro we want dorian DVD full version 🙏🏽
I wish I had the rights to his dvd. That wasn’t filmed by us unfortunately.
he had the upper body and the lower body. once you have the lower body is easy to build the upper body
Id go as far to dorian may have that freaky craig titus look...MAYBE
You have never had a pro bodybuilder calibre upper body so you would not know
He's got that darn door, fuckin Dorian Yates door.
A huge monster and a freak of nature
Thanks for these uploads !!

Thanks for all the uploads u are doing a great job sir ......keep it up and god bless u
Thank you!

He is pressing 168kg on the machine press
I’m surprised his workout partner wasn’t screaming to the top of his lung while doing cardio too! guy was something else
That’s a young Steve Weinberger (the current head judge) and owner of Bev Francis PH gym
Leroy is still working out and helping out younger bodybuilders. He is in a UA-cam channel called Forever Hardcore. He has mellowed a little bit 😂
He's a right nutter!!
Cheers for info

he's doing push day here, i wonder what was the weekly workout program here
How come theres only one of these video's?
Other than blood and guts this is probably only video of Dorian traning.
I think you’re right my friend. All the more reason to subscribe to this channel! 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻
There is one from Canada in 96
Sensacional!!!
Thnx bro

Thanks for the upload boss! How old is Dorian here?
