Joba is by far the most versatile member of Brockhampton. He can sing high as shit and then scream his lungs out and then spit a fire verse or some combination of the three like it’s insane.
And he smokes cigarettes! I seen them after the show by the tour bus in Cleveland and he was smoking. His voice is still amazing with such diverse ranges! Love Joba!
Did you get a chance to catch them on tour? If not try to go next time, obviously not the same as hearing them for the first time (especially because everyone is shouting lyrics haha) but it was a great show and the closest I think you'll get to that in terms of how inspiring and exciting it was.
ok, I actually hate this comment, because if we take joba as the screamy boy then there are only 5 rappers (Ameer, Merlyn, Dom, Kevin, Matt) so it should be 5 rappers+one screamy boy. I'm sorry for being a fucking bitch, but this gives me massive OCD.
Lyrical Myracle I agree, with OddFuture you got Tyler, Earl, Domo and Hodgy (how ever u spell his name lmao) I can't really bump dudes like Left Brain. His Oldie verse is amazing tho..... anyway. The fact that BH has all these dudes making amazing music and is way better then GolfWang. BH is way better then Odd as a group. But don't misunderstand me by this because Earl and Tyler r master lyricist and r better then the dudes of BH.
Troy Steinbugl Eh. Brockhampton might beat Wu Tang as a rap group just because more than one album from the entire group was good. I don't like the spinoffs of the original album from Wu Tang but some people do, so not everyone will agree. As far as OF and TC and Earl go I think that on their own they are better at lyricism but not much else.
i think they are better then OF by a mile. In every way tbh. even lyrically this band can send chills down your spine with most of the lines they spit. Like "I hate the way I think, I hate the way it looms I hate the way the things I say incinerate a room". that line had me in goosebumps. There music is also better produced and more diverse by a mile
Can we just appreciate that Brockhampton came together from a Kanye forum years ago and now they're living in South Central LA making music and touring. Follow your dreams, y'all.
I used to live with one of the members in a co-op in Texas, he left school to pursue his dream. At first I was definitely skeptical, but after seeing the art they have made, I think the gamble was worth it. 100%

Also him giving his like 100% running around and dancing across the frame while all the others are doing their own lil' swinging motion. I love the way this was filmed, too. @Giorgi Kokiashvili It doesn't matter whether or not Ameer was convicted. At the end of the day he lied to a group that considered him family about his past actions. And besides what he did to those girls, he set up Doms friend to get robbed and beat.
