@@ianhenry4344 if you want a demanding hike but full of impressive landscapes, Vinicunca could be a great personal challenge. If what you want is a relaxed and short walk through mountains of colors, then Palcoyo is the option. Each one has its own!
This was an awesome video. Great information. I have a client going to Peru and I wanted to see if this would be worth adding to the itinerary during the winter time. It looks just beautiful with the snow. Interesting to learn there is another finding of a rainbow mountain to explore.
I'm going to Peru in November and I won't be getting a horse to go up the mountain (I love hiking), however, you seemed to feel very strongly about people not getting a horse and I was just curious why.
Rainbow mountain stated in Quran, Sura fatir, chapter 35, verse 27. وَمِنَ ٱلۡجِبَالِ جُدَدُۢ بِيضٞ وَحُمۡرٞ مُّخۡتَلِفٌ أَلۡوَٰنُهَا وَغَرَابِيبُ سُودٞ (Yusuf Ali) And in the mountains are tracts white and red, of various shades of colour, and black intense in hue. (Sahih International) And in the mountains are tracts, white and red of varying shades and [some] extremely black. Those are other version of translation. Thanks
Do you not see that Allah sends down rain from the sky with which We bring forth fruits of different colours? And in the mountains are streaks of varying shades of white, red, and raven black; Surah Fatir, 27 ayah

I’ve seen these mountains all over social media, but somehow this is my first time seeing aerial shots of them. Thanks for sharing!
of course, thanks for watching!
I have had the opportunity to go to both mountains, Vinicunca more impressive, Palcoyo the walk is much quieter but Vinicunca is just as beautiful.
Agreed, both are awesome destinations. Thanks for watching!
So if you were only to see one, and the singles criteria which is a more spectacular view, you would choose vinicunca?

Great video... thanks, Kevin! Did the 4-day Ausangate trek to Vinicunca in 2017... wish we knew about Palcoyo at the time.
Hi, which one has more spectacular surrounding scenary?
Long story short Polcoyo is way much better and underrated. I have been there checking BOTH last month. I recommend Polcoyo.
Someday!!
Absolutely!
Thanks for sharing the information. Any recommendation on which town to stay in if I wanted to check out both mountains?
This was epic! I did a video on Rainbow Mountain as well, including altitude sickness! 😳
Which do you think it's better considering the trip, the hiking and etc?
What a beautiful place
it's so crazy down there!
Yeah I bet. It looks amazing down there!!
@@peyton_merica gotta make it down! we're going first 10 days of april if ur free!
Kevin Eassa I’d love to make it down there but I’m only a freshman in high school and really busy in sports.
There is also a rainbow mtn in China.
I've seen photos, it looks incredible! I've only been to Macau and Hong Kong, not mainland

This is just a guess but it might be because they're not treated very well?

thanks dude!
Good video but no help in making me pick one!
Both!
Cute, but people with the ability to see both are not googling these types of videos

FIRST OF ALL, CHANGE THE FILTER... DO NOT TRY TO SIMULATE EXPERIENCES YOU NEVER HAD.
No filter, just color grading
