The bike looks great - congratulations! As a suggestion, I always reinforce the stress points (such as bolt holes and corners) with carbon fiber strips - superglued onto the back of the fairings. Makes them much stronger.
I am so happy there is a UA-cam channel that uploads in recent years for this bike! Just bought my yellow black F4i and most vids I see are 10+ years old.
An 18 year old bike definitely shows in the fairings and is something I wanna do the following year.

Bike turned out great, you do great work man. I've got a 2000 F4 I've been working on and was wondering where to get fairings, I'll check those guys out and see what they've got for mine.

@@TorrentPerformance awesome, I'll be happy with plain unpainted ones. My main concern was fitment given the iffy quality of a lot of non oem bodywork, of course the bike has been abused and I'm pretty sure at some point it was a stunt bike.

I'm giving serious thought to getting an aftermarket nosecose for my F4 (the single headlight, carb version) and your experience of a Chinese fairing is encouraging! The problem you have with the airducts and mating the nosecone with the side fairing holes at 20:49 - I am wondering if part of the loom is being pinched, because I had the same problem a couple of times, till I reached my hand in and tucked the connections for the headlight and indicators where there was some more space for them. After that everything lined up properly with no shoving or swears.

How were you able to install to air duct covers? They are a super tight fit.
They are tight if you dont get them to lock in use a long screwdriver threw the front air dams to move them into place.
Man i cant get my rear fairing over the regulator rectifier
Ok, you may have to shave a little off the inside where the rear fairing bolts go before the rear seat first. Then you will slide the rear seat from the back while gently prying the fairing over the rectifier on that side. Its a real tight fit you may take the palm of your hand and smack the rear cowl above where the rear taillight is. You need to make sure it gonna clear that rear seat bar on the left and right side first.
Also, any issues trying to lock the steering?
No i didnt have any problems with that at all.

I went ahead and checked your channel out and enjoy that your videos are only animated and contain dubstep music which is basically the same music as what I have in my videos. I have edited the noise level down on the music in my new work. Just subbed cant wait to actually see your face in your channel videos instead of anime.

Good vid, I'm trying to put mine back together. Just a thought, would it be easier to put the front air ducts into the headlight fairing (I think there's a screw to attach to the fairing?) then squirt a bit of WD40 or something on the end of the pipes so they just slip together when putting the headlight fairing onto the bike? Mine's in bits (bought it like this) so just trying to figure out how stuff goes together at the moment.
I would install the front like i did itll be to hard to get them to go into the airbox tubes. Watch my other vids on this bike alot of good stuff especially if your is in shambles.
looks good, I been debating on getting a new fairing kit from china for my 98 f3, from the looks of it not a bad deal for what you get, thanks for the info I got mine coming in. time to lay them ugly yellow, purple and white colors to rest and put some fresh dark blue and black on with some accessories

I didn't, they don't make them for my bike any more. I got mine from DHgate.com for the same prices
did you get a gas tank cover? or paint the tank?
Neither fairings matched very well to tank paint. Also help me out and if you order a set use my Amazon link below.

Inside of side fairings no heat shield necessary ?
No oem ones i believe didnt have them
Chinese fairings don't come with a heat shield. Gotta get that separate.
