- New Jersey has been on an absolute dream run & today there's an 8-12ft+ EPIC New Jersey Surf Forecast with some pretty big barrels! I'm super grateful for another awesome year on Earth surfing, spending time with my family & enjoying my days as a human. Ben, you have clearly graduated from the 'JOB School of Tube RIding'. Your carving take offs keep you on the face of the wave giving you speed and the ability to jump into the barrel right away. Fascinating to see you skills improving.

I'm curious how you would characterize the 'JOB School of Tube RIding'. I see JOB basically cut hard as he sinks body parts into the wave to stall (hand on frontside, ass on backside), and help pivot the board around. I always assumed it had to do with riding big foam boards that don't go on rail well. Is there something else going on there?

Gravy is legit getting better and better consistently. Time spent on the board and in the water is proving to really be something to behold in terms of a man's development as a surfer and as a human in general. Anything is possible within reason Gravy, you prove that time and again with the direction your life has gone and the changes you've made in terms of what kind of man you want to be/the kind of man you're capable of being. It's impressive sir, keep after the good things and the good things will keep presenting themselves to you. For the dream always, thanks for sharing your adventures and your triumphs with everyone out here that's following along with your story. Good stuff man, the world's so filled with nonsense and time wasted, it's a breath of fresh air always to see just how happy and content a man can be with the basics. With the right friends, the right woman beside you, and the right mindset within you, you're fkn capable of things and you will be presented with things in this life that you can't even imagine. You think it could have anything to do with actually riding a real board now? Those soft tops are cool in junk surf, but they’re slow and don’t work well in proper surf.
Your tube riding has improved massively. You're an animal, so much fun to watch you fearlessly take those beatings on your way to getting sweet barrels.
Amazing what happens when you ditch the tourist board and start riding a real one.

Born n raised at the jersey shore…never have i once even touched a surf board but damn man watching your vlogs recently your content is exciting as hell. I garuntee you that you have gotten kids/young adults on boards catchn waves that otherwise would of been home on their phones. How is it like when you have to take a deep fall, like at 6:18 in the video? Like what do you do? Just hold your breath I am assuming, but with the whitewater crashing done on you, doesn't it get scary/pull you under? This is why I am hesitant to surf/bodyboard big waves.

Surfline forecasts are a joke, like you said at the 2 minute mark. I like the photos on Surfline. Lewis Samuels's articles on the site were excellent.
